Actually this is a personal message for Anandu. I can understand the situations of him. Because I also had passed through some of the similar experiences. Previously I was suffering from OCD. It's strictly due to my deep belief in God. After becoming a non-believer, now I am totally free. Really I escaped completely from OCD. One point I would like to tell Anandu is that in order to become an atheist, no need to study physics or evolution. You just need to study history and think about it. That's enough. Nothing more needed.
Even that's not needed. Simply study the other religions. When you understand that all religions believes in the same thing - that is we alone are right and all others are sinners - you will simply start to realise that religion is a very very narrow concept. Personally I don't think that believing in a God is harmful. But believing that such an entity if exist can be tamed by worshipping and offering prayers is laughably ridiculous. If a God exist, the best definition I can find is the "Nirgunaprabrahmam" in Advaitham. If one came to such a realisation, he/she won't follow any stupid religions.

Since there are lot of people with mud instead of brain in the head, it won't be a problem. Actually already happened in many part of the world. There are Christian schools in USA and Muslim schools in Pakistan which won't teach theory of evolution. India won't be behind. I won't be surprised if NCERT replaced Ravana as the inventor of Plane instead of the Right brothers in near future.

There are Christian schools in USA and Muslim schools in Pakistan which won't teach theory of evolution. India won't be behind. I won't be surprised if NCERT replaced Ravana as the inventor of Plane instead of the Right brothers in near future.
