- NO FRILLS 1:12 (or smaller) doll stands you can make at home! Happy New Year Dolly Friends. I spent the end of the Holidays and rang in the New Year under my covers with a rotten cold. When I was feeling better, I realized I didn't have what I needed to play with my dolls, so I did what any sniffly, tired person would do. I made a no frills version of my own.Welcome all new and existing subscribers and visitors!

Hi Diana🤗 They are working well for my small dollhouse dolls. I haven't tried anything larger. It would be fairly easy to experiment with materials and sizes for as needed sturdiness 😍✨

This looks so useful!! I'll keep it in mind if I need to make an adaptation of it for my big dolls. Sometimes I don't like the way their stands grip around them like a vise! ❤
Happy New Year my friend! 🥳 They most certainly could be adapted for larger dolls. You might be able to use paint stirrers instead of coffee stirrers. 😂 I just needed a little lightweight support to add some balance to these small dolls. 🥰✨

This looks so nice but I don’t know if it would work with heavier dolls?
Hi Furiosa. The way I did it will most likely not work for larger, heavier dolls, say like Barbie dolls. However, a little modification such as using a dowel vs a coffee stirrer might help. The idea is to stabilize the feet and support the torso. This was an "in a pinch" situation. I'd love to hear if you work something out for your larger/heavier dolls. 🥰✨
