    I really dig Bea's playing and creativity. He has such a well rounded set of styles and techniques. always very interesting to hear him playing. would love to hear an EP of just his different playing styles and riffs with some back ground like drums and bass with out a doubt.

    The STRYMON MOBIUS shares so many sounds with my old LINE 6 POD HD 500. I don't think I want to go down that road again. Kudos to Rabea who seems like a real stand-up dude.

    One of the things you can do with the Mobius, if you aren't using it in Stereo, is have it either in front of the amp or in the effects loop and set that choice up per patch. I use this feature myself to move the Mobius before or after a couple distortion and boost pedals. It kind of sucks that you have to give up Stereo to do this (since it uses the Right i/o to create an alternate signal path), but I find moving the location of the Mobius more important than stereo for a gigging situation.

    Those seats are epic! They must be like furniture warehouse or something. I think they represent great value for money as a timeless classic. (this is what happens to my attention when i'm watching a video and a totally unrelated advert stops me from doing what i'm doing in order to try and sell me some shite I couldn't care less about and if I did, like you, i'd go and find it for myself)

    I heard that Dimebag used that trick because when he did deep dive bombs with the tremolo the outer string might get caught under the bobbins on the pickups so the tape prevents that. I think Steve vai did that also. I've also heard very thin rumors that the tapes might help with feedback issues similar to potting the pickups but those only rumors.

    Strymon are absolutely killing it. The chorus on the Möbius sounds better than anything on the market and the Timeline is very seriously probably the greatest delay pedal ever made.. I already have the Big Sky so with the other two I can't see what else I would possibly need!

    Been listening with headphones. I love those Strymon pedals!!! Before i order any of these pedals i have a question... Do i need two amps in order to get the best modulation shifting/ping pong sound??

    • @TheRustedShackleford
      @TheRustedShackleford 6 років тому

      William Turner the "ping ponging" definitely work better with 2 amps

    • @hippiekarl7

      With one amp you won't ever hear the 'ponging'; you'll hear double the hits as all 'pings'.

  • @Zhaggysfaction

    I know he does that but the reason why I just semi-mentioned him was that I'm not sure he does it for the dive bomb reason because I don't hear him do those too often. Also one thing I've heard why people do this is just because it feels better for the hands and fingers to play cause it smooths things out a little. Some people might also think it looks cool.

    Re: Mobius. I reckon my analogue modulation pedals are better than what it does. Digital emulations of modulation effects never seem to do it for me. I'd rather have a handful of analogue modulation pedals than a Mobius, and cheaper overall than £400.
