I think it's really annoying that most of the people bashing her are male. But then have no problem talking about her hotness. Terrible Tallrus Let it be clear that I am happy for you that you did indeed enjoy her performance and I can say that in the past I have seen a performance of her that I enjoyed and laughed at as well for parts of it, but the fact remains that her humor is quite light on the intellectual front and more often then not its simple and shallow, no matter if you can relate to her by gender or not ;) Overall, she is not my cup of tea as a performer. I once seen / heard an appearance on a radio show as well and although its a public appearance and still a bit of a show, it just showed her a again simple, shallow and to be honest.. a bit cuckoo ;)

This is due to them not getting it (in which case they shouldn't get Billy Connolly either, the famous Scottish comic), and/or feeling threatened by her due to her feminist viewpoint - the latter reason says more about these men than it says about this woman.

The reason why I think she is so funny is because females understand her humour, in terms of the way she acts out physically, vocally and imaginatively what is happening and going on in the minds of females that males find more difficulty in understanding, because to put it plainly , are not females. And so females, find it so true, that it’s really just funny because of how ridiculous it is, yet they continue to do it, and they know it’s a silly thing to do at times but it’s what makes them beautiful creatures and deep down females know that. She has this funny way at poking fun at what they do, and most of the comments saying she isn’t a good stand up or she is SEXIST is from males, a tiny majority from females. This is exactly what it is, it can’t be sexist because she isn’t prejudice towards her sex (or any sex) She’s just making fun of it, poking a hole in how societies standards is and how females (down to the core of human nature differing from males) know this to be SO true, heck most of the laughs in all her shows are females. She explains it to the people it matters to the most - Females, in such a way where Its seen neither a good thing or bad . But see the ridiculousness of it all, and it’s funny. Females understand how ridiculous SOCIETY is in all her jokes surprisingly. Thats true art (Comedy is an art) I find it funny also how the majority of people getting annoyed by her comedy were by males, even though Iliza is poking fun at women in society. Bit wrong when you think about it, a bit funny when you think about it, isn’t life beautiful, isn’t it funny.

Ok, I watched the whole show, and to be honest. She is a genious. Its for the first the only female comedian not making cheap shots at men everytime, she actually its mostly making fun of how women sometimes behave in many occasions. I can definately relate to many things she makes fun of. Yep its for laughs, and she makes it more strange than it might be. But When I saw this clip the first time. Sure it was fun, but it wasnt that fun that I really laughed. Because I didnt have the whole picture. YOu really have to watch the whole show, because than this part do make a little more sense, even for us guys. I have to give it...
She is hilarious, and the show gets more and more intense, and the last punch line I actually almost fell of my coach. So give this girl a chans because its much better if you see the whole shebang.... We guys would really be able to relate most of the show.... Mostly because we arent the bad once here... not even the women... Just strange behaviours. :-)

As I see it, a date is supposed to be fun for *both* people involved! I don’t want the girl starving herself just to appear pretty! I want her to be able to eat enough that she is satisfied with the meal as much as I am!

There are all of these comments saying that she’s not funny and I don’t know why. People have different senses of humour and if you don’t like this particular comedian then that’s perfectly fine, but don’t hate on her for it because it’s really rude.
For the record, this is my favorite bit in any comedy performance ever. I've probably watched it three dozen times and it's always an absolute delight. (Maybe it's because I'm not-so-secretly a twelve foot man-eating lizard.)
