Cant help but think of the struggles the old timers had with water issues. Poor old buggers sure did it tough. Nice day out in the scrub though. Thanks Pete.
Bendigo is only here because of gold, we are the only city with no natural water supply, the nearest river would be 30k's away, even our lakes are man made, so I'd imagine it would have been really tough. Eventually they built water races to get some water here, that would have made it a lot better. That little water hole is solid rock, so it retains the water pretty good, I'm yet to see it empty, so it keeps me entertained. Cheers mate
Great video Pete as always. Being out in the bush finding even a little bit of gold is always a good session. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers 👌👌👌👍👍👍🤜🤛
Thanks, when time is tight sometimes you just have to do a little prospecting when you can, I'm lucky I live in the middle of the goldfields, its a great place. Cheers
That's a bit of a hike, I'm lucky I can just drop into a creek on the way home from work. But I must admit your creek is awesome with the gold you recover. Cheers Glenno
Thanks Matthew, I just had a look at the video for the horse shoe, I see what you mean, I'll have to drop in there and see what it is, I've never noticed it. Cheers mate 👍
A good fun time out gettin the shiny Pete , i think you may have underestimated the weight on that gold , i thought maybe a bit better than 0.1 , then again i could be wrong lol .🤣 but whatever , it all goes in the home pile and it all adds up . WELL DONE 👌👍✔ Cheers Ned .
You may be right, it's still in the snuffer, I should dry it and give it a weigh and see what it come to. I haven't done much sluicing or highbanking this year, it's been a bit dry, so it's been fun when I've gone out. Cheers mate
Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate it and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. I'll be back out on the 6000 this weekend so hopefully that chunky nugget is just a few swings away. Cheers Pete 👍
I hope you can have enough water there for a while. Rain always changes things on the creek the banks there look like they'd wash into the creek a fair bit which could make things more difficult. At least ya got a little picker that always is a good thing. Great video Pete 😀
We had rain and the water is already gone. Gold could be shedding off the sides. I ran some gravel in a video a couple of weeks ago from there and had a cracking result, must have been the sticker I put on the multi sluice, some bloke gave it to me, something about being awesome, you might know him LOL. Thanks for watching mate. Cheers
It's just great to get out bush and to find a little colour is a bonus. It's a good little set up that one, nice and quick to set up with good water volume to wash those rocks. Cheers mate
@@PetraKann Sorry about that, I sort of took it the wrong way. I'll be back out on the 6000 this week, so back to normal words. Cheers mate and thanks for watching
This is a gold prospecting channel and not an English language course, and you might not know, Petra, that the way Pete and us Victorians speak our English is far better than the English themselves, from personal experience. King Charles could do with having his jaw wired, for example. The English themselves have butchered enough languages, Irish and Scottish Gaelic, Welsh and Cornish were banned, here, aboriginal languages banned by the colonials. Try America for oftentimes butchered English! Fair dinkum, Petra, what a qualm to air.
@@PetesGoldAdventures All good mate. YOu dont need to change anything you are doing because I don't understand a few phrases you use. I know how hard it is to find a gold nugget, even with a metal detector in the Victorian Gold fields. Cheers
Great times indeed fam. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Cheers mate, thanks for watching. 👍
Bit of fun in the puddles Pete. Amazing how a bit of rain can change things in the creeks. Well done 👍
There not much bigger than puddles, I thought after the rain they would be bigger, they dry up to quick, all good, we make the most of it. Cheers

Right on Pete, still got gold and didn’t get skunked. The sluice you have cranks out some good water flow too. Thanks for the video Pete.
Thanks Morgan, nice quick session on a Friday afternoon. The river sluice works well with a 3500gph pump, good flow to catch the gold. Cheers mate 👍
Was a good way to spend a Friday arvo. Glad you got some colour even though your old mates turned up. Well done Pete 😁👍👍
Where there's old mate's there's gold, all those heavies like to hang out together. It was a good afternoon out. Thanks Andrew

The bunnings bucket should be the official mascot of this gold rush.
Your right, the good old bunnings buckets feature in a lot of youtube videos. Cheers Pete 👍
I have recently come across your channel and i am enjoying the content.
Best of luck finding some chunky gold

Greta work mate every little bit adds up even the fly pooooop
For sure mate, an ounce of gold is still an ounce no matter the size. Cheers
the creeks always changing one day your going to get a ripper bit that washed in its still out there!
That creek is lined with diggings, so as they erode the creek will be replenished. Cheers mate
Hi Pete will you have some t-shirts on subs day if yes I will get one then if not I will order one
I don't hole stock mate there print on demand and get sent direct from the printer, best way is to jump online. Cheers, thanks Shannon

@@ShannonChambers-mj7nw I just ordered one myself. 😃
Clearly you're not interested in people watching your videos who use the English language and want to understand your jargon poetic licensing
