You forgot to mention something. When it comes to power, it would also depend on how much power the smartphone can provide to the DAC. This DAC is the same with the Jcally JM6 Pro, but since this one is made by DDHifi, the build quality is a lot better than the Jcally. You may want to check out the Fiio KA11 as well. Have an awesome day!
Kz am01 or audiocular d07 have same chipset and amp chip and half the price
HOW TO KNOW THAT my phone can provide enough power to dac...?
@@zygote8888 Have microphone pass through, NO,also it can provide more power than kz

Underrated Channel 🔥🔥🔥
not underrated. it is well grown channel
LG V Series phones Hifi Quad Dac just insane 🤟
one thing i sometimes get confused by in audio industry is when budget (50usd or less) headphones are designed to listen them with very good dacs or even stationary amplifiers. Because everyone say that they are amazing for 50bucks or 15 bucks, but u need a hecking amplifier for 1.5k usd or even more to make them play in they way they supposed to sound. so i just wanna say that u dont need dac, u need a good headphones that will play good no matter where u gonna plug em.
If possible can you cover the DAC by Kinstone which comes at around 800-900Rs with along with abigail
Just bought the CX-DAC (from Tiandirenhe Official Store) on AliEx with the 4.4mm jack, for about US$18. It was a little more expensive, but carries both the CX31993 and the MAX97220, for the necessary power to drive my HE400SE's quite nicely. Build quality is exceptional (on par with DD Hifi...actually built with heavy ends like a DD Hifi). My DDHifi TC35 Pro 2 is on the way...will be interesting to compare the results.
How does this compare to the Apple Dongle DAC ? Got a Mojo 2 powering my V16 Divinity and IE600 but honestly I wish there were days when life was simpler.
Can you suggest a converter to use this dongle in ipad? Thank you
Thanks for the comprehensive review.
Have a question, appreciate your inputs pls - with a 3.5 to 3.5 aux cable, can we connect this to a powered portable speaker?
We can buy there's no benefit.
Suggest only if you have tried both sir,FiiO FD11 vs kiwi ears kadenza
My ears have become extremely sensitive due to bad 300rupees earphones and even I need treatment,Best for better soundstage, imaging, vocals, lows,
Deep bass with no shoutyness, clarity,no harsh sounds not at all,for podcasts, movies like jhon wick and other action hollywood movies and foresty movies with weird and different sounds, listening arabic quran especially.
Man ,love your videos .
But how would I connect this Dac with my iPhone 12 ?
Any suggestion for the connector ?😮
Headphone Zone has a dongle that has a lightning connector at one end and USB-C on the other.
What is the battery consumption if i am using on android? Is it significant? If yes then how much
I bought kingsound usb dac can you tell me is it or should i buy another one ?
How it’s different from Audiocular d07 Dac with same Dac and amp chip?
Sir while searching a similar dongle dac on Amazon I came accross Audiocular D07 which provides CX31993 DAC and MAX97220 Amplifier.
Sir my question is does all the dac with same chip CX31993 have an amplifier chip as well? Or is it not necessary for that dac to have an amplifier chip?
Does this ddhifi dongle dac also has an amplifier chip?
Is it compatible with samsung galaxy s24 ultra?
hello….good video. i have one question, does it support/decode lossless on apple music
Definitely, it should.
Hi, could you please suggest which will be better for iPhone 15 the apple type c to 3.5mm connector or this one? Please suggest?
If they have the same DAC chip, either.
My iem doesn't have in built microphone but if i use this i can attend calls? Will the dac also works ac microphonee??
No.
It'll use the phone's mic.
When I use this with my AirPods Max and it’s lightening to 3.5 mm cable, will my AirPods, which already sounds insanely good, sound better??
I doubt it'll make a huge/noticeable difference. But,you may give it a try.
I have a question! Should i get SimgotEW200 with this DAC or Lypertek Pureplay Z3 based on audio clarity and audio details as someone who likes hearing Rap and Hip Hop.
EW200 with DAC
How good is this compared to venture electronics Abigail pro and the apple dongle dac? Does it justify the higher price as you could get Abigail pro for just ₹1000
I don't own the VE Abigail Pro,but even if you go for that, you'd be totally covered.
Appul doesn't stand here as it is limited to 16bit and on android it lowers the volume to 60%
I'm in the market for a DAC for my PC setup, primarily for transcription and subtitling work. I'm considering either the AKG K92 or the Audio-Technica ATH-M20X headphones. I'm leaning towards the ATH-M20X, but I want to ensure that whichever DAC I choose is compatible. Would this DAC work well with my PC and support the ATH-M20X headphones? I'll make my headphone purchase accordingly.
mx 20 is goat headphones works niceely with all
Man.. I've read the thumbnail like " HEAR LIKE BEFORE MUSIC NEVER" 😵💫😵💫😂😂
what is the fuss around salnotes zero polarizing views also is it a safe buy to get a dac and zeros together
I heard their units varies alot in quality of sound..not all are built same
Pls suggest me ... Am gonna buy my first IEM. Confused with (KZ castor, KZ Zex and Tangzu Waner SG). Or any other best pick from your side.
KZ Castor sounds great, watch my review for the settings I recommend.
Tangzu Waner is also a good choice to start with but not as flexible with the audio signature as the Castor.
But you'll enjoy either.
@@Purecast9 Thanks 💯 Bro
My first was kz-zex, currently using simgot ea500, both are top notch for the price
I have been using my KZ Zex since last year, first on a Samsung M32 and coming off from a JBL CH50I I couldn't tell much difference in quality other than higher volume. I switched to a Poco F5 which I specifically bought because it has snapdragon processor and a high res dac (upto 192KHz) and my KZ sound pretty great. I still don't feel sold on these DACs
Have you tried usb audio player?
Recently brought a pair of tangzu Waner ( Jade edition ) iems. Will pairing them with this DAC bring about CONSIDERABLE elevation to the listening experience ?!. Would appreciate the feedback, brother.
Hey my tangzu jade green just came yesterday! Are u happy with the purchase? I think i need a dac as i found its just a ordinary set of earphone and cant see the hype of these iem's :(
@@Guts8392 well as I have been using sub par wired headphones and bluetooth earpods until recently , so yes I have been finding a significant enrichment of the listening experience with these iems. Plus I have been using Apple music's lossless music streaming with these iems which is making it better. I have ordered a reasonable quality dac too, so that the iems perform at the optimum. It is to left to be seen though how significant is the improvement. Anyway coming to your question yes, iam happy with my purchase until now. But I guess you have to factor in the facts that one this is my first iem experience and that these didnt burn a hole in my pocket...:)
While a DAC won'take a night and day difference all the time, however,it does make sure your IEM performs as good as they possibly can. I swear by them.
Plus, there is no downside in investing in DAC as it'll probably help power future IEMs that you will eventually buy.
P.S.: The DACs on our smartphones SUCK.
What about people listening to music via bluetooth earphones. Can we do something to elevate our experience??
Either get Hi-Res TWS Earbuds OR Chekcout my video on the KZ ZSN PRO X with Astell & Kern XB10 Bluetooth Receiver.
What about cheaper DACs available on Amazon in that 500-1000 Rs range. I can spend more on IEMs like the Tangzu Wan 'er .. What should be it if you are on a tight budget.. Cheaper DAC and good IEMs or better DACs and cheaper IEMs???? Kindly guide
If not this DAC,then checkout the DAC I mentioned in my other IEM reviews in the description.
DAC is a one-time investment and then you can keep buying better and better IEMs.
@@Purecast9 Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Really Appreciate
Can you please recommend best iem in your opinion under 20k
Truthear NOVA, ORIVETI OD200, SIMGOT EM6L
Thank you so much
Is this durable ??, my only concern with dongles are durability of cables as they bend more than intended in daily use and eventually break😢 ,
Feels pretty robust.
Can i use it on an older iphone with lightning to type c adaptor
Should be able to.
How is it different from Audiocular D07 as you already have both.
This has a slight tendency to boost the highs.
I usually go for the Audiocular as I have become accustomed to that sound signature.
How is this dac with the SOMGOT EW200 is it too bright or its perfect 😅
How is the default iem sounds?
Hey !! i'm going to buy a my first iem and i am confused on if should i get a better pair of earphone or a lower quality one but get a dedicated DAC with it my rough budget is around 4.5k
any suggetions???
Get the KZ Castor and a DAC.
Or Tangzu Waner S.G.
KZ castor is really so amazing @@Purecast9
Hi
I have a confusion regarding music app.
Amazon Music
Amazon Music Unlimited
These two are same app or different????
🤔
Assuming DACs are only useful if you are lossless streaming platforms like Tidal or Deezer. Would you recommend buying a DAC if I listen primarily from Spotify or UA-cam?
Yes I would.
@@Purecast9 Thanks
7hz zero 2 vs kiwi cadenza..
Which one prerfer for sound quality ?
Haven't used Zero 2.
Cadenza review is already on my channel.
I haven't tried the other one, but 7hz salnotes is just too good. Absolutely no regrets whatsoever after buying
okay, so the dac's now covered
i've just stumbled across your yt and good god those are a lot of iems you own
i have a pair of aria's, hola and wan'er
i yeah i just am in love with the aria's its been an easy 2 yrs and yeah the wan'er and the hola's are definitely good but just not as much as the aira's
each of those are pretty much a warm pair of harman iems
looking forward to up the collection but i am just in a very weird place where
i cant decided in b/w hexa and nova
kind of same tuned iems where nova lean more over to harman tuning
i just cant really tell which ones i gotta opt out
it'd be a great help if you suggest one of these
or maybe it doesnt even neeed to be hexa or nova
any iems around 13k'ish mark and the resolution and details are just heaps or generally noticeably better than aria so tracks like vivaldi or any clasical and jazz ones just get better over aria's
what would you pick/ suggest
Truthear NOVA and SIMGOT EM6L are great.
Is that better then Cx31993 ?
Please tell
CX31993 is the DAC Chipset itself. Used in many DACs too.
If any device like Xiaomi pad 6 having ldac hi res will not require this dac for high res audio music. Tell me if I am right or wrong.... please
It would probably mean it supports LDAC but you still may need a DAC to get the best output possible if you're using a good pair of IEMs.
@@Purecast9 so if you're using dac, your multimedia device must have ldac otherwise there is no use of dac for cheaper mobiles phones.
@@nipun9229 Actually, whether you have LDAC or not,the DAC helps your IEMs sound as good as they can since the in-built DACs are crap on phones.

Hi bro should I go for Venture Electronics Abigail Pro or should I buy this one considering I am using KZ Castor.
Any.
This just has a very robust build.
@@Purecast9 So can we also say that it's worth spending more on this product than Abigail pro considering the audio output and build quality?
I bought the kz castor and dd HiFi DAC combo for 3299 from Headphone Zone, was it worth investing as a bass head or should I cancel that order to buy something different? Please suggest if I did wrong.

@@biswajeetpradhan8460 of course it will work. Usually the in-built DAC is of such poor quality that you never get to hear the full potential of the IEM.

Is it better than a gaming laptop soundcard? (My music sampling rate on my laptop is 24bit 192khz) Or is it comparable to it ?
IF there is a dedicated sound card, you probably don't need a DAC.
For all other scenarios, especially when it comes to smartphones, you need it.
Yaar what about iphones with lightening port
You can just get the USB-C to Lightning adapter and use this.
@@Purecast9 Will a Rs.200 USB-C to lightning adapter work just as fine? or it can hamper the sound quality?
Good things cost more for a reason 😉
@@Purecast9 I am planning to run FiiO JD1 from my iPhone 13 Pro. Should I get the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm adapter for now? (I don't have budget for iFi Go Link as of now!) and upgrade to a better DAC (GO Link) in future? or should I get DDHIFI Hi-Res DAC and get a lightning to type c adapter ?

Good effort, however since there is no lossless support for Apple Music, I will recommend to pass on this one.
