I personally checked a couple of articles on some tests people did and the JLT seem to not have a higher inlet temp like some of the others and the sound was a lot better yes I know you said that's not the priority however I thought it sounded better than the others and looks good to.
JLT makes great stuff! Used them on past mustangs with amazing results! Great info man. Cant wait to make a dyno video of my motor swap...wonder how much power that will get me haha
I don't buy into a open airbox for the fact it's pulling in hot engine air and a supercharged is even hotter. If you can prove inlet air temp drop on a hot day then I might consider it. But anyhow.. another great video😎
Right, I don't understand why people keep buying into this. I've gone through like 4-5 different setups all using that open airbox set-up and I've found out that the Hellcat box works the best because it's already a "true" cold air intake sucking fresh air from the bottom of the car and the headlight. The T/A model also has a pretty cool setup too with a functional hood that directs air to the airbox. I even got rid of the accordian tubing for mine and connected it to a U-build it kit from Airaid.
@@Fade2BlackSS I see it the same way on using a smooth inlet air tube. That's where there will improvement. I put the AirRaid tube on my Ram along with a K&N filter. My Hellcat just has a K&N filter. Different strokes for diff. fokes i guess. oh... i put a smooth Airaid tube on my old Scat pack instead of using the ribbed Hellcat headlight tube
@@JaimeGarcia-uk4gy Dude this was 4 years ago. I don't even have the car anymore. Lol. One of my comments mentions the U-Build it kit from Airaid. Do a search for one for the Challenger and see what you find. I can't remember where I got mine from or what diameter it was. I think it was Summit Racing.
Nice man im glad you have a mod you like and can learn all the ins and outs of. Have you ever considered high octane fuel or performance fuel injection ?
This Intake is on Sale Now guys : www.americanmuscle.com/jlt-performance-cold-airtake-1518-hellcat.html
One of your simplest videos...but also one of the most informative 💯💯
I almost didnt want to put it out based on how simple it is but I said why not
Have one on my Hellcat, Great results. Love it...😈
Really? I am excited to put it on mine
Congrats on the sponsor. Moving on up...
Lil bit by lil bit

Yaaa buddy!
@@InnoV8Official hell yeah bro!!! You know what I'm talking about!! Great minds think alike!!!
Nice we need to get together and compare
@@Mod2FameI'd love to get together and compare buddy!!
you should go with the jlt oil catch can as well!
Don’t forget to save up bro your gonna definitely need to upgrade that driveshaft they love to explode
Great video. I hope you do this for every mod☺️
*MOPAR*
😍
Even with a tune I don't think 30whp is realistic. I think you were better off with the factory set up, but we will see. The Dyno don't lie.
Whith a tune you can tune it to 93 octane, which will add 2 degree, which is about 20 to 30
I pretty much order everything for my mustang from AM!!
Luv yo vids bruh
That box is the same as the mopar box and the tube and filter is better than that jlt set up....If ur such a mopar guy why not use mopar product?
GOing to check out that website champ
Go get yourself a bigger throttle valve for that CAI. And then tune it richer

I plan to do all the above. Remember we are doing this step by step
@@Mod2Fame cool bro
@@Mod2Fame Check out Aces IV fuel additive from BND automotive. I run it and it works great
Think you meant 30bhp...No intake give you 30whp.
Nope 30 whp is what I saw. We will find out when we dyno Cheapokitty with it
Mod2Fame Vlog That's 30whp with a tune.
Does this air intake work for scatpack chargers?
it should, check with the company 1st
@@Mod2Fame bet preciate that bro
I also don't think no HP gain, we will see
😎
I'm third but I'll katch you on the top end😅😅😅
