The ASUS is currently priced at 750€ in my country, which is too much in my opinion. I'm thinking about buying the 27GS95QE for 599€, or should I wait for the ASUS to get cheaper?
I bought a 32 inch 4k / 144hz / HDR / IPS monitor for $319 on Amazon, and it turned out great! I was skeptical because I had never heard of the brand (CRUA), but it's been nearly impossible for me to find a 32 inch 4k monitor above 60 Hz for less than $400 (and the ones I do find are TN panels). So I took a chance when I saw this pop up, and I'm loving it!
ive told them regularly for months, they refuse to change and the G2724d regurgitated over has had plenty of complaints of switching to cheaper panels with worse performance all around, same with the asus they kept recommending. that E2 is excellent though, best in class

OLED, always OLED. I get it, they are the best for image quality. However, I continue to be surprised that there isnt a non-oled choice for those that use productivity apps and game, especially considering the prevelance of work from home we see today.
These monitors have a 3 year warranty on burn in. it doesn't matter what causes the burn in you'll be covered for a replacement. Just use it to the end of the warranty and then force a burn in and then submit for warranty. that will get you extended life long enough to where it would be time to upgrade.
@@DaikiClips Most likely not. The replacement monitor you get will be a refurbished one and will not come with a warrenty at all. No monitor company is going to give you endless brand new monitors with a new warranty each time.

The price of the Q27G3XMN in the video is actually pretty close to the cost of it where I live, €299. Accounting for the fact that US prices are without tax, that is probably even cheaper than the US price.
every review talks about edgy gaming monitors with dragons on them all day. all i want in my life is a mixed use monitor with good color accuracy and text definition, >120hz and better contrast than my shitty IPS. but apparently that’s too much too ask for. you go all in with the 360hz oled gaming (and bad text rendering) or nothing. that’s frustrating.

I don't fully agree with the way this is being presented. The only good monitors you showed are oleds with the only non oleds being the budget monitors. There is no bad option in OLED, it depends on the price you are paying in your region.
So I took a chance when I saw this pop up, and I'm loving it!
the sales are insane right now you can get get good 1440p monitors for 130-150 dollars
Thanks for the update
Yall should update the MSI G274QPF-QD, its been replaced by the MSI MAG 274 QRF QD E2, with better specs. Do do a review on it as well, thanks!
got my E2 in the mail today, cant wait to set this beast up
ive told them regularly for months, they refuse to change and the G2724d regurgitated over has had plenty of complaints of switching to cheaper panels with worse performance all around, same with the asus they kept recommending. that E2 is excellent though, best in class
got the e2. Love it.
Isnt the QRF QD E2 is an ips panel?...
@@ZhengYuanz its a QD IPS panel, same as the rest
Just the update I needed for black friday!
I bought asus 27 inch 1440p glossy asus oled monitor a week ago the best pc monitor i ever had
Coming from a 1080p 60 any monitor u buy will be the best u ever had
@@kerkertrandov459this. ^^^
Thank you for this overview, this is needed in the market of screens :)
I got the PG27AQN. Best choice ive ever made
Did you have any issues with it?
Because I will maybe buy one too..
@ Nope. Had it for 7 months now and it works perfectly. Highly recommend
I'm using Alienware AW2725DF for about 4 months now, I hope it's gonna last at least 5 yrs in good condition, the best monitor I have ever own by far.
This has been my experience, too.
@@andrekz9138 Pretty incredible piece of tech homie :)
I did order Samsung G8 G80SD on black friday deal, 799€ crazy good deal knowing all other oled 4k 240mhz start with atlest 1100€ upwards.
I did the same, great deal
It's a bit pricey but I absolutely love my AW3225QF. I was a little nervous to make the jump to OLED but I'm never going back. I also love the slight curve.
how about samsung G60SD for OLED 360Hz?
Seems like they have no knowledge of its existence...
I really can't decide if I should go for an ultrawide monitor or not. I wish I could try it out for a bit of time to se how it actually plays like in practice.
Aw man I was really hoping you were gonna talk about the MSI 34" MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED ultra wide as I’m stuck right now on if I should get that on or another one with similar specs. Great video tho thanks for all your hard work ❤
I have it and it's great.
Main thing to know - just because a monitor isn't mentioned on this channel, doesn't mean it's bad or not worthy. i.e, Philips Evnia 49M2C8900
OLED, always OLED. I get it, they are the best for image quality. However, I continue to be surprised that there isnt a non-oled choice for those that use productivity apps and game, especially considering the prevelance of work from home we see today.
I wish there were LCDs with the clarity of OLEDs. Burn-in and low brightness are a deal breaker.
These monitors have a 3 year warranty on burn in. it doesn't matter what causes the burn in you'll be covered for a replacement. Just use it to the end of the warranty and then force a burn in and then submit for warranty. that will get you extended life long enough to where it would be time to upgrade.
@@WickedRed1WR oh shoot lmao, have you done that? wait, does the new replacement also have a 3 year warranty?
@@DaikiClips Most likely not. The replacement monitor you get will be a refurbished one and will not come with a warrenty at all. No monitor company is going to give you endless brand new monitors with a new warranty each time.
@@mrspeeddemon727 true and they can't because scumbags like that guy will abuse it selfishly with intentional damage
My first oled Philips Evnia 34" UW nearly burned out my eyes I turned on HDR for first time. I dont understand this "low brightnes" flaws ppl mention all the time.
First and love all of your videos. Thanks for you helpful info. Hope you have a great week.
When will a 34 or 38 inch 4k monitor be available, maybe next year???
I bought the ASUS PG32UCDM immediately after watching Tim's initial review. It is the crown jewel of a 7800X3d/7900XTX combo and is absolutely amazing.
I picked up one of those Dell G2724D 27" QHD's you previously recommended when Amazon's Black Friday Week started. Thank you so much for all the info!
make sure it's not some bs panel from innolux or lg when it should be au optronics, these guys refuse to mention this but plenty people are complaining about dell and asus switching to cheaper panels with worse performance all around without saying anything
@@StevoHDA Thanks for the advice. TBH, I have no idea, but I just set it up and besides the white balance being laughable, it looks amazing. Luckily, my first job was white-balancing CRTs, so I have it exactly where I want it.
@@StevoHDAHow does one check this? Ive had this monitor on my radar for a while now and i'm about to commit to the buy
My wife also uses this monitor. It works great, especially considering the price.

True managed to snag one for 400 bucks during black friday and still no reviews other than one guy
@ same. I bought it and its just amazing
@@fahadassiry224 mine is arriving tmr hopefully nothing is wrong with it
I just upgraded from a 1080p 60hz to the Gigayte M27Q and I'm very pleased
I know it's very niche but doing "the best fighting game" monitor would be a nice short video. Fighting games are locked at 60 fps so the best monitor that can use black frame insertion at that range would be super nice for clarity
OLED FTW, no BFI required.
@@james.telfer I didn't mention OLED at all on my post did I ?
@@gabrielst527You asked for best monitor for fighting games. Asus OLED monitors feature BFI with perfect response times. That's the answer.
@@james.telfer mmmmmm burn-in

Why no recommendation for the G8 OLED Ultrawide? - it's $500 compared to the $800 of the DWF, and they have the same panel.
Especially the 2024 version. 699€(incl. 25.5% vat) is very hard to beat. In Finland the Alienware is atleast 150-200e more expensive. I see no reason to get the AW
@@Sinr0ne AW also looks very ugly. Chonky stand.
@@Sinr0ne even the Philips is better.
I was hesitant to buy the Asus XG27ADMG because a lot of people on forums mentioned image retention or dead pixel issues, sometimes happening just days after purchase. I ended up going with the Gigabyte FO27Q3 instead, and so far, it’s been alright.
More you have buyers of a product, more you will have defects - more people will talk about it online. Humans also tends to remember negative instead of positive, so you only saw the negatives reviews and not positives, like mine
@@ZeiTooN9 Humans also tend to assume all countries have the same levels of warranty policy. How long have you owned this monitor anyway?
why not asus? i dont know what to pick between the two
Can we get an European edition please?
@@Knox420just add 300 euros to each price
@@Knox420 unfortunately europe taxes these electronics way more, just get the cheapest oled 240hz you can find with your budget
The price of the Q27G3XMN in the video is actually pretty close to the cost of it where I live, €299. Accounting for the fact that US prices are without tax, that is probably even cheaper than the US price.
Excellent video production. Like an OLED demo.
every review talks about edgy gaming monitors with dragons on them all day. all i want in my life is a mixed use monitor with good color accuracy and text definition, >120hz and better contrast than my shitty IPS. but apparently that’s too much too ask for. you go all in with the 360hz oled gaming (and bad text rendering) or nothing. that’s frustrating.
Based on a chart from rtings, maybe a Samsung Odyssey g65d or an AOC Q27G3XMN.
Just picked up two of these for xmas for my kids. Dell has them at $150 USD right now. Can't beat it at that price.
As a gamer on SEA, Samsung g6 oled seems to be the cheapest and readily available oled monitor. Got mine on sale for 570 usd converted
Will you review the monitor and how does "VRR Control" differ from asus and others? It seems to still go down low(60hzish based on osd) without flicker compared to others implementation which limits the range tremendously
The Rtings review for the G6 says that turning it on introduces noticeable stutter, do you notice that?
best ultrawide is AOC AGON Pro PD49 (Porsche Design 49 Zoll). qd-oled, 0,03ms, 5k, 240hz, g-synch, hdr etc.
completely stacked monitor. sadly no one covers it. on sale its also cheap for its specs. I got it on black friday for 1199€.
It's a unfortunate that the Xiaomi Mini LED G Pro 27i doesn't appear in your recommandations, 350€ for a mini led monitors with 1 152 diming zones ( ! ) it's a serious rival to the AOC Q27G3XMN.
I was about to said that, other than Asus xg27acs
At this point it seems like he just doesn't want to review these Chinese brands at all. Every single video people request it in the comments.

Really hoping the AOC Q27G4XM launches outside of China. Same panel, so I hope that one gets a review when it's out.
The only non miniled monitor i'd recommend is Samsung Odyssey g6 s32bg65. Good contrast no visible VA black smearing, it almost feels like an IPS monitor but without the glow. It also has its own operating system.
Why no one is talking about XG27AQDNG ?
Fr man I bought it and I’m scared something wrong with it but honestly it’s worked great for me so far
@ wym something wrong with it from what i seen so far its great
@ I meant like too see the test results like could have I gotten a brighter screen for the money or a monitor with better input lag at lower refresh rate cuz 360 hz is a lot to get or is the color not that great for the price stuff like that but it looks great comparing it to my cheap old 165 hz non oled monitor lol
What’s the difference between this and the xg27acdng?
Both qd-oled and 360hz?

Should I get the dell AW2725DF or the msi 271QRX
I wonder if we will get 1080p OLEDs at some point
That's something definitely not worth it considering pixel density at 24" form factor.
Hard to say. Profit margins are likely not there.
But then again, people still buy the pricey 360hz-540hz 1080p displays :~)
Can you do a review on the AOC Agon PRO AG276QZD2. It’s a QD OLED 240Hz at $399.99. The specs great and price is appealing.
Honestly, as long as oled still has a burn in problem, i wont buy them. I want a long lasting monitor for everything including work/browsing
You guys ever consider tackling 43" as well? Have a VA ROG right now but the ghosting is killing me...

Was ready to replace my 48 LG oled tv that I use as a monitor (going to keep the LG as background movie watching screen). I was going to get a 32 inch oled, but I will see what CES brings. Would love a 34 inch oled 4k ultrawide.
I don't fully agree with the way this is being presented. The only good monitors you showed are oleds with the only non oleds being the budget monitors. I think for every oled recommendation there's has to be an non oled option for those who don't want to spend $1000 on a panel that will destroy itself with burn-in within a few years. I have a LG C2 as a TV, I think its fantastic, but buying a monitors that's oled is in my opinion very dumb because of the use cases and massive amounts of static images monitors go through.
best 1440p that isn't oled or budget?
best ultrawide that isn't oled or budget?
best HDR monitor that isn't oled or budget?
no review channel ever goes into this now that oleds are so prominent.

Do you think the situation with monitors is the same as with Videocards? CES Comes in a month, new monitors will appear, making older if not obsolete, than definitely cheaper
Thanks for the review would love to see a part for the best "big screen monitor" im sitting on an old 32inch atm and plan on upgrading to something bigger
Thanks for a very helpful video. Your review helped me pick up the AOC G27G3XMN for my wife! She plays mostly single player story based games as well as some content creation. The HDR and VA panel are perfect for her and she is happy. I however want an Ultrawide 1440p, but i cant afford the prices of Ultrawide OLEDs, what are my choices? I'm surprised you haven't included any budget options in this category. I am aware that there don't seem to be any new non OLED Ultrawides. Are options from a few years ago worth it?
How about the Gigabyte M27UA (Advanced)? You seemed to have liked it at least as well as the M27U.
This is a great review of the best gaming monitors which we think will be useful in 2024! It was quite useful to compare the models available in various categories such as 1440p, 4K, ultra-wide and HDR. This article has helped me understand the important factors to consider when seeking to upgrade my device. Thank you for the breakdown and for the information about the best options and the considerations that need to be made! Hope to see more in the future.
I think adding some 32 inch models to the 1440p segment, both low and high price, would cover even more prospective buyers with this video. I for one am looking for an affordable 32inch 1440p 120hz option with good response times and couldn‘t find anything here
Even with these product choices. Do you think it could be worth the wait to see what's shown at CES 2025, Instead of buying one of these?
The ASUS PG32UCDM is now under £1000 at Scan and Overclockers UK? Something new coming around the corner?
Category Request. What’s is a good value for a Content Creation monitor?
The only monitors I know are of the ASUS ProArt line.
Gigabyte M32u was on sale for around $500 recently, and is smacking good if you want to make the jump to 4k.
