From what I believe, creators can make stuff free if they’re limiteds, but they can’t with regular UGC.
Just search for items only by Roblox
The only free stuff that isn't free ugc limited fither I can suggest is Roblox in username search or free 2009s t-shirt in catalog.

I don't know what's going to happen but it makes me uncomfortable as hell, some of the ACTUAL items are NSFW or suggestive bypasses of specific creators on the catalog. The horridity of madness it has become.

No, this is potentially worse. Yes, the audio update mercilessly killed a bunch of games due to them being silenced. However, this update goes beyond just the games. This update impacts the players who play those games, the creators who make the games, and the company all in one. It has not been a week, and the damages are already severe.
@@lordsoronexle Exactly, the audio update had workarounds and ways to patch the damage pretty easily, but this can’t be fixed by anyone other than Roblox themselves, and they’re doing almost nothing about it

@@domeen0gt895 They removed audios because of copyright, so even if they dont care about inappropriate stuff, they still have to avoid getting into further lawsuits about IP. They did also say that they are developing systems that can moderate better.

I'm just wondering how different this is compared to Free Models and 2D clothing. There is many rip offs, copies, and inappropriate things onto there if you bother to find them. They knew the new system to moderate the uploads wasn't ready. THEY KNEW releasing this before then was a terrible mistake, and mentioned next to nothing about Public UGC. They haven't been sanctioned or sued for any of this stuff. No news station has been bothered to bring awareness to it either. Thus, the company lets this tumor spread further and further.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Roblox taking down half the UGC items, cause they usually give back all the robux you spent when an item you own gets taken down. I’ve known this from a personal experience back when Roblox went on a UGC purge of all the items that were just literal guns.

It's a massive shame really about this whole situation. I'm in a Roblox UGC Group Discord who's owner is essentially wrapping up on what he wants to create before leaving the UGC Scene behind. He complained that people stole his products and rebranding it as their own and his item is at par with Foxtrot Arms stuff. It's a massive shame with what this update brings and I hope they roll back the updates.

I got a brilliant idea let’s contact multiple company and tell them that roblox has ugc items of their stuff without their permission and they will sue roblox. If it works then roblox will either fix public ugc or remove it entirely.

1. If it blatantly breaks the ToS, it gets to pass no matter what. If it doesn’t, flip a coin. Heads means pass. Tails means delete the item and ban the account for however long the moderator wants.

The only reason I can come up with is money. Roblox knows this type of shit is bad, but they earn money from it. People are going to buy the NSFW accessories, they’re going to buy the other-IP characters.
