- in this video I try out the meguiars whole car air re-fresher and I was extremely shocked at what happened when I pressed the fire button I never expected this to take a unexpected turn I would advise not to try this at home

Ive been using this product for years and it does exactly what you'll expect. It will literally fog up your car with a good scent for a solid 15 minutes and completely eliminate the smoke
The smell only last 15 mins?

@@ghostfacekilllahh nah sorry for not clarifying. As you’d set off the canister have your ac on for about 15 min, although the canister goes off only for several minutes

That cannister seems like it will get rid of ALL foul smells. Definitely will use it after the vehicles fully mechanically sound and totally detailed and coated. Thank you doc for another informative video. 🌀🌀

@@the7figuremaker na it’s really good. I had a night out with a couple friends someone puked and the smell stayed there for a couple days when I went back to the car it was so bad but these things did the trick used 2 of em and the same brand air vent bottle and my car was smelling brand new
Bought a car with light cigarette smells. Used one of these and the air freshener scent disappeared in a few days but the cigarette smell is completely gone after over a month

@@the7figuremaker I just bought from advanced auto for 8 bucks. Tryna get rid of this weed smell. I already vaccumed and cleaned all carpets and washed the smaller carpets in my washer. And cleaned all interior plastics and leather. Now I'm using this to flash bang it all. I'll let you know after a couple days if I still smell weed.
Thanks for showing me how to activate the spray can. The instructions on the can were very unclear (to me, at least). :)
Pollen filters are for exterior not recirculation, this stuff shouldn't touch those. Best to also swap out the cabin filters after doing this.
@ironman, you are wrong dear.. Pollen filter works for recirculation too
If it's a smell that keeps reoccurring you need to remove the Source of the problem not just cover it up! Change the filters and clean all visible dust and debris out! Often the musty old cigarette smell clings to the soft furnishings any removable carpets or mats best to come out and given a nice power wash shampoo combo! Then use some foam carpet cleaner and a brush to wash the seats and floor carpets ☺️ it will REMOVE the odour and not leave you with migraines from the overpowering lemony fresh crap

Ideally you should remove the pollen filter first to get through the system better.
Maybe it's better to soak the filter

That's what I did. Also thought about keeping it running without the filter when I added the bomb but I forgot to remove the filter after I was finished. Thoughts?
@@layzy24 isn’t the cabin filter just for odors from the outside of the vehicle? I could be wrong. I did the same thing and left the filter in and was wondering if I should take it out. I’ll update in a week.

That’s the seats you’re smelling. Idk what they treat the leather with
a lot of volkswagens and bmws have this mysterious crayon smell. i’d agree, it’s probably the leather. it’s just something you have to accept from a european car
That smell is from the insulation material in the car which is degrading. This can will not eliminate that smell unless you have removed the old insulation first…

What do you mean like remove the cabin air filter while the foger is on?
@@luism8612 probably becuase some cabin air filters have charcoal imbedded and interwoven in their fibers so it would neutralize the odor bomb smell. I went ahead and left it in. I'll let you know the results after a couple days.

You mean on the right side 😉 that’s why our cars are cheap and and bmw is cheap here as nobody else can drive them in there country’s. So it makes out car market extremely cheap.

It doesn’t really spray for all that long, you really just need to keep the air on recirculate and leave it with everything closed for 15-20 mins then open everything (doors and windows) and let it air out for I would say another 5-10 mins.

A few months depending on if you smoke & eat in the car, we use to use these at the dealership in pre owned cars after a detail

Zep odor eliminator has kept me from getting charged $250 for smoking in a rental car a bunch of times. Make sure you vacuum dafuq out of it first, everywhere ashes land, then spray it in the hvac fan inlet with fan on high. Then set it to recirc and spray the interior. Let er dangle for a couple minutes on recirc, and shut it off and throw the keys in the drop box and they haven't said chit so far.
What a terrible way to act.

If you can visibly see the mold I suggest scrubbing it with lysol before masking the smell so you kill the mold first. Ideally, you’d want to remove the carpet that has mold and wash it thoroughly but lysol will work too.

why are ppl saying remove cabin filter first. You mean replace it then use car bomb. Which I just use one right now, I still have a car odor in my trunk but I will be getting my car detailed so all of this doesn't matter in a few months from now. But for now, the smell is nice. And I didn't know where to leave it so I sat in my car and breathing those chemicals 🤣

Anybody knows how to get rid of this product smell, I used it, smelll horibble, both of us hate vanilla and got headacke, it kept stront for 1 month already. Horrible product.
Eat some Chinese food. Both of you. Windows up and go to town. Prob get rid of it tbh.

Yes advanced auto has it for the same price. And you can order online and pick up in store. I ordered through the app and then went to the store to pick it up. It's funny becuase I was walking up and down all the isles trying to find it but I couldn't. I think they have them behind the counter or in the back. Weird 😅.

I think it doesn't as far as i can tell only Liqui Moly's KlimaFresh and Sonax's products do that
I used the PMA one which is like a disinfectant - you don't want to breathe that in.
Set it off, run for ten minutes, then leave overnight for a serious deep clean.
Air the car the next morning - all smells gone and bacteria totally dead!
