- In this video I share a car air freshener that I love to use after doing a smoke removal for my clients! This meguiars car air freshener is not something that I would use on a regular basis, but after doing an intense smoke removal, I like to top it off with a fresh clean scent pumped through the whole car, so that when my clients step into their cars after the intense smoke removal process, I like them to smell the fresh air, just to reinforce how clean the car is after Wilson Auto Detailing got a hold of it! Great job, maybe consider dropping the back seats to allow the bomb to circulate to the boot (trunk).
Just a little off topic. Im 49 years old and I have 1 daughter and 4 sons. My boys are all out of the house some doing great some not to great. I must imagine that your parents are extremely proud of you. I've been watching your videos for over a year now and just realized you have 4 Business videos. One of my biggest concern about these air freshener is health concern like overwhelming and allergies problem. Some might say it fantastic or disgusting. Make sure that you talk to your customer if they have any health related problem before spray some air freshener. Have a great memorial weekend Luke and stay safe.

Do you click the cycle button that’s on the AC the recycle one that has circle arrows and recycles the air. Or use it with everything on/off? But no recycle on?
I think it is better to remove the cabin filter first before tunring the ac on.

It worked, I did two ozone treatments and it was still a slight odor. I just ran to auto zone grabbed an air freshener bomb and a new air filter. Smell is gone immediately.
Curious as to why you can't use these every time you clean a car ?

Hey Luke, I have a really good question? If you use harsh chemicals on the tires to get all the grime and oil off the tire Wouldn’t that dry rot the tires after a while ? Because the tires are designed to have oils in them that’s how they we’re designed.and taking all the oils out of the tire would change the chemical make up of the tire

Thats actually a little bit of an argument in the detailing world, and I cant say that I have a certain answer, I have never experienced any of my clients car tires cracking, not even once, and I am assuming it is because after I degrease, I then condition them with a tire dressing, but again, I am not completely sure about this one!

Luke, I left a crack in my window but i didn't know it was going to rain. The water got inside and now it smell. I clean everything in the car and now it smell. What is the best way to get rid of the smell?

The can was on for 15 minutes? Wow! So you just empty the entire can in one go? Doesn't the car smell extreme? How long does the smell last?
Oh rats! Lol. Thank you for this review. Wish I watched it before I used it. I turned on the vent and circulated the natural air, I did not turn on the a/c. I mis understood the directions as it said "air" not a/c. Does it matter? Is the vent circulation and the a/c circulation the same thing?

I would have purchased a cabin filter prior to the job for optimum results!
You can definitely do that, but make sure you charge more, and that you are staying profitable
I can buy my own cabin filter for cheap and install it easily. I pay extra money for detailing jobs I don't want to do, but probably wouldn't go back to a company that charged me convenience prices on little things like air filters. I think its good to leave something like that for the customer to do.

most are behind the glove box, but i have seen some under the hood in the cowl. best to just search on google your car + cabin air filter location.

I really love these little cans and have used them before. Problem is tbey are between $20 and $30 here in Australia, we're a bloody RIP off! If I could buy them for $5 like you can I'd bang one off weekly😂

Do you put the AC on? Like actually hitting the AC button on the dash? Or just the temp setting to cold?

my dealer used this method, but left the car with a smell. although a pleasant one, I can't stand any smells and want the car to be odorless. any tips?
Get an ozone generator. Kills all organics and verry effective.. gonna smell the ozone for a lil while but as it goes away it's left clean smelling.
I'd say always ask your customers if you could use that. Some ppl are very sensitive to any strong smells. Like myself I can't even use those vent clip things bc I will get a headache within 10 mins. Just a friendly suggestion.

Does one can only last for one car? (15mins seems like it would deplete the contents of the can)
It’s meant to be one use for one vehicle. It’s just a special deodorizer treatment, not a can of air freshener you’d spray around every now and then.

Those machines are typically Ozone Generators; while Ozone does a great job at removing odors by hyper-Oxidizing the source of the smell, it can also degrade rubber, plastics, foam, and metal finishes.

Its not super long, again this is just a small addition to kind of over deliver in a sense

I know this.product wotks very well....unfortunatelly it costs 17euro..aprox 20usd!!!.....so i use some sonax similar products but unfortunatelly i cannot find the very nice new car smell witch megs ptoduct has.... Kind regards from Athens Greece

jonathan8003 unfortunatelly all the megs products are 2-3 times more.expencive in europe than the us and in my country even more..... For exxample megs apc gallon 27euro(30+usd), wheel brightner gallon 38euro (44usd), fast finish aprox 30 usd e.t.c........i think tha oposite happend to europen products in us.....for excsample sonax bsd 10euro 22oz or 38euro 1,5 gallon......etc.....so.always i am trying to subtitute products witch are recomend derailers in us with those i can find in europe.
May be a good idea but if you are a smoker it's just gonna smell like that again. So pointless to waste money and product on this situation if a non smoker I would say go for it. Just my opinion

I've tried 2 of these after detailing my car and the smoke smell is still there.
THis is not a smoke removal technique, this is just a little addition AFTER the smoke smell is already removed
you will never get rid of smoke, only if you replace all interior
I'm not sure about this one. Isn't that going to just mask the scent I think a good cleaning with Citrol, change cabin filter and a regular air freshener should be good. #dont smoke in your car.

Just keep your car clean and have it professionally detailed at least once or twice a year and you won't have to worry about any smells at least that's what I do
