“All I can do is continue to be an actual human being and show them that I go through the same emotions”
Kendrick, thank you
💀💀💀
lol
We all have to cherish Kendrick, once in a generation artist. 🙏🏽
once in a lifetime.
@@poetiks bruh , that’s pretty much the definition of a generation 🤣
@@nasbtheboss Well I'm only 20 and I've been thru 3-4 generations of rap. From Slim Shady, to Lil wayne Drake Future, to lil uzi kodak 21 trippie, to the new moneybag yo, dababy, nba youngboy
@@nasbtheboss A generation is about one-third of a lifetime. Do your googles.
lifetime*
Kendrick is worth more than 100M, but still no chains, no flex, staying humble, talking about family and is down to earth.. This is why I respect this man aside of a music. I WILL SAY JUST a GOAT, LEGEND, that NOBODY can REPLACE.
Bill Gates worth $100B no chains on that dude either
@@whatskrakalaken1940 He just incapable of putting together an outfit that don't make him look like a herb
And this year 12 nov he will be billionaire
Kendrick knows his value is more than can be described in money, it's intellectual, it's social, it's spiritual, it's esthetic, it's artistic.
Kendrick (to me) has been the leading creative force in rap since To Pimp A Butterfly. Heck, even Kanye hasn't put out an album since then that could challenge Kendrick's artistic integrity.
Drake may be No. 1 monitarily, but he knows Kendrick is No. 1 creatively
Lol you obviously ain’t listen to the album if you think Kendrick don’t have ice. 😂 WE just never gone see him wear it. Legend and respect to the man but come on. It’s okay to have ice and be intellectual spiritual etc
Yeah you got me with this one Big Boi can't even lie. I thought this was a new drop and I ain't never clicked so fast before in my life. Good one
Literally smfh
it is a new drop aint it? lol
Thanks for the heads up
@@hamig306 From 2017 lmao
Good looks cus I did the same 😂🤦🏾♂️
Kendrick talks how he raps & he raps like a poet 🙏🏽
He raps real shit point blink period
@@Vdub481 "blink"
Yes! His rap to me, sounds like spoken word poetry. It has its own flow, and is always unpredictable in execution. 💯
Facts but he also raps like a maniac love when he spazes out on his alternate voices
As it’s supposed to be “Rhythm And Poetry”, Kendrick produces real RAP.
If I just met this man, I would not know he was a genius even from the way he talks. I wouldn’t understand the depth of what he has in his soul. The moment he steps on that mic, it’s just God level. At the end of the day though, he’s just a man. I pray for his protection and safety. We are blessed to have him!
The dick eating is crazy 💀
should be everyone’s mindset
Based.
Listening to "Count Me Out" and it's just blowing my mind everytime. In my headphones, trying to figure out what magic happened in that studio.. That record is ridiculous.
I'm still figuring it out too man. Idk any other song that's like it 1 of 1. Actually maybe keep ya head up.
@@t_morales2212 Yes. That song rings true today. Systematic opression turned into inter-generational trauma turned toxic relationships. Praying to someone anyone allone, that it one day will end.
I discovered count me out yesterday andni had the same feeling
If you came here while waiting for the album to drop, you're a legend
💪🏾🙏🏽💯
haha yessir you already know
Let's go!!
Yessir
🤘
Just listened to the album. This man a legend. His discography stands up next to anyones all time. It’s been nothing but classics since GKMC
Since Section 8.0
Damn right
Since Overly Dedicated
Overly Dedicated is good, but Section. 80 and GKMC is the moment he really came into his own I think.
Section 80 so underrated, some of his best songs on there
Kendrick was never looking to “own the summer” this album is literally him battling his demons & inspiring faith in people. If you’re going through a tough time, you will shiver from almost every song.
This interview is from 2017 when he dropped DAMM lol
@@rodrigoorozco9263ironically still applies
Kendrick lamar is a rare diamond that can never be replaced in this life and the next. He's incredibly humble, and his evolution through music and life has been beautiful. I love his aura and how he connects with everyone as well as his fans. We must protect him at all costs. He's an amazing human being who isn't afraid to show his vulnerable side. Thank you, Kendrick, for inspiring all of us who battle with our struggles and to never give up or give in to the trials and tribulations that we all face in life. May you continue to evolve further, educate, elevate, and inspire all of us to be our best selves.
The music this man has been putting out since the beginning, pure art.
Personal favorite - bitch I'm in the club
can't wait for this album looking forward to more Kendrick interviews as well!!
K-Dot (Oklama) going to own the summer. I know it’s a long shot - but I hope this album is able to reach the younger generations and give them a new perspective to motivate the culture to stop with the bull shit. The culture is so big and goes past just black America. We all can do better if we come together! We only have one chance at life and we have to leave this planet a better place for the children.
I know you white talking about beyond black America. Stfu
Major cap
Its definitely to me his best masterpiece so far other albums its still hard to rate them
Yeah nah kendrick prob won’t but not because the album was bad but I don’t really hear much songs on there being on the radio tbh not very radio friendly
Nah not with this album. Amazing album tho, but I doubt you’ll hear any of those songs outside this summer. Except for maybe one. But he definitely won’t own the summer, unless he drops another project
They all had so much fun on this interview ❤️❤️❤️
I like how Kendrick's "worst song" is still better than most artists' best track.
I got crazy respect for big boy and kendrick. Solid interview🔥
Ahhh I’m looking forward to new interviews from Kendrick!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
He’s currently rehearsing for tour
Seeing that Kendrick lost 500 unreleased songs in the description just makes me feel like crying because of how many classic albums could have been made 🥲
Not quite. How many oranges does it take to make a glass of oj?
@@emericas9 exactly
@@emericas9 you don’t need a full glass of OJ just enough to quench your thirst a full glass or half glass would consider you greedy
@@emericas9 thas a bar
Not like he woulda released Anything anyway
I clicked so fast I'm so happy to hear this man's voice!!!!!! I can't wait for this album

Man This the first Kendrick release where I’m a real fan n not just at the perifirals. Im seeing release as a big fan, this shits insane
The man is a genius, his art is like the best abstract expressionist painters... Jean-Michel Basquiat, Cy Twombly, Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Motherwell....Kendrick Lamar just to name a few...Please keep it coming!

I was able to see Kendrick in one of those small venues they’re talking about when he released Section.80. Got to hear some Overly Dedicated as well & some of the Ep I believe. Such an amazing night that I wish I could relive man…
Same here
Seen him at TLA in Philly for $15

K. Lamar, You Are Appreciated Homie.!!!
Shout out to BigBoy and shit, had a blast watching this interview coz I know K Dot is humble as fuck but its kinda nice to hear him genuinely laughing. We love you Dot
Kendrick is the GOAT of this generation
Kanye is
@@christophermoultrie4343 Kanye came before Kendrick and even if he didn't Kendrick surpassed Kanye a long time ago. I like Kanye, I fuck with his music but I relate to Kendrick way more than I do to Kanye and Kendrick as a rapper, a lyricist, his flow, the things he talks about beat anything and everything Kanye has done. Without Kanye the producer, Kanye is nothing comparer to Kendrick. You take Kanyes production and the way he takes samples and turns them into beats, Kanye is average at best. No one is dissecting a Kanye verse the same way they're dissecting a Kendrick verse. Same thing with an album. No one is finding all these hidden meanings and piecing things together and feeling the way they do on a Kanye album the same way they do with a Kendrick album.
waiting for the album 🔥
Me too
It was great
13:01 That’s the first time I heard Kendrick. I love that song

Kendrick is an authentic raw artist AND a cutie pie????????? lord
No tattoos in his face, never pretend to be dangerous, far from this bullshit musi, no millions chains, very clean, he is a literary writer, who many awards, the same woman who supported him from down below... You got my respect .

Kendrick has always been awe inspiring to me just as an artist and a human being. I remember a friend showed me Section 80 when I was senior in high school and then a few weeks later GKMC dropped and ever since then he just got bigger and bigger
