I always enjoy your music choices, dark and spooky, which is a Stark contrast to the bright colors of cord that you use. Clint Mansell is amazing and your knotting skills are as well.
I love seeing a video on youtube where the comments are positive. Not only positive, but supportive of the poster. Says something about JD, I think. Best wishes, man.
you are da man!!! I like the fact that for one there is only you tying the knot and two and you are constantly centered and in focus. Nice work thanks a lot
The Cyclops lives to tie another day. Obviously you were able to compensate for your diminished depth perception - which is amazing, since I still have the vocalize the steps out loud, when just tying a square knot :) . My good vibe thoughts go out to you. Get well soon J.D.
Thanks so much JD! This is a very easy to follow technique, and the fact that you produced this with the use of only one eye is immensely impressive. (Perhaps the one eye explains why this is tagged as a "Ho-To". :))
Your videos are, in my opinion, the best on UA-cam. They're simple to follow. If it wasn't for tiat videos, I don't think that I would have picked up on this art. So, thank you! Oh, & you also have the most perfectly trimmed fingernails!
I once asked if you could do a paracord footbag similar to the dragon pouch but i think this would be better. Instead of using a marble just left over paracord for filler. Thank you for vids. Very simple and slow. Its like meditating. Im excited to try this one out. Cheers!
its awesome what you show us..i appreciate it very much.. how is the sight with your eyes at time.?. hope everything will be allright.. but take care.. wish you a peaceful recovery ..:)
Must be nice being blessed with long thin fingers... Every now and then I find myself reaching for a marlin spike...I know it's late in the day, but very good video as usual... Stay safe
You are really very good. Plus your videos are very clear and easy to follow. Thanks. I'm going to go try this right now. I have the 550 but I assume it will make just a slightly larger globe knot. :-)
I hope your eye is better! I'm new to the channel and don't really know what happened but it sucks working with one eye, i have a bad eye and have the worst depth perception problems! you should see me try at basketball...well thanks for the awesome videos :)
Great demonstration. I found this one easy to follow. Question...if you want to create a globe knot for a larger diameter ... ie tennis ball. Do you just keep following the pattern.
@TyingItAllTogether - just a suggestion you shud do more videos about how to make single chord bracelets for people who are new to making parachord bracelets and don't won't to spend so much on lots of parachord
Hey um I subscribed to you and I REALLY wanted to learn how to make the honey basket knot, but you still haven't done a tutorial. That preview has been up since last year. I wanted to ask you if you could please make it on a tutorial.
I have made this globe knot, but cannot figure out how to move forward with a weave. Do you have any suggestions, I'd like to make it a key fob. Thank you
HI if you wanted to make it bigger. like put a tennis ball in it instead of a marble how would you go about it... Is it as simple as wrapping it more times? Cheers
Hello, I have noticed that in the beginning of many of your videos, you show your hands holding the rope before you start the knot or bread. I have noticed you do not tell your viewers where your are holding the rope (ie: middle, 4 inches in left hand, 12 inches in right hand). I really love all your videos however i am having trouble estimating where you are starting in the rope length. I always finnish with a really short end and a really long end.

Your direction are awesome. Thank you.
I used TIAT's "paracord ball" with the third pass for the center of this and it worked great! Thanks JD! Good luck with that eye too.
you are da man!!! I like the fact that for one there is only you tying the knot and two and you are constantly centered and in focus. Nice work thanks a lot
Well done JD! Glad to "see" you're doing so well. Bad pun -- heartfelt sentiment.
I don't think you can get a more elegant knot tying video than this.
You are a excellent teacher and you have a beautiful hands :))

I have seen a triple woven globe knot I was hoping you'd be able to do a video on how to do one of those please and thank you
@TyingItAllTogether - just a suggestion you shud do more videos about how to make single chord bracelets for people who are new to making parachord bracelets and don't won't to spend so much on lots of parachord
just 1 thing to make this easier i lightly melt the 2 cords together to make lacing it easier
Amazing!!
Thanks, Appreciated your vid. I hope you will recover soon.

is there a practical application for this or is it just for decoration?
Where do you buy your marbles?

It is possible do one with three cords?
Do you have a tutorial on how to snip and singe the ends?
Where did you get that type of string... how is it called? thank you
music reminded me of 28 days later at one point
How's your eye? Hope it's better :)
Watch the video closely. The tying technique does not change, just the number of cords you have.
@biomarburg looks about quarter sized!
can a Globe Knot be tied with only one working end??
It says 2*6 foot but that is realy long. Is that realy needed?
if not otherwise specified, he starts in the middle. That's how most ties go and he stated that before.
Can you do a triple globe knot???
he cut it with those 'cuties knots'
Nice Ukrainian globe! :)
ha
It's not frozen
cool
idc
How's your eye
dracoman689,
look at the beginning. it says 2x 6 foot lengths ok?

Hope you're better.... but please, dont rush things and be careful with your eye.....

กว่าจะได้กระดุมลูกหนึ่ีงดูวุ่นวายจริงๆ ครับ
the music indicated this was very serious
I did it
This knot is way difficult, I’ve spent 4 + hours for the last week and a halt and still can’t get it
I like the Ukraine colors! (though you might have not realized) lol
🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍🚙
My one didn't went right... xDD That's really hard to do! D:
Are you going to answer me???
It would be great if you would talk during your Vids so we know exactly wat your doing.
as it is called the material you use
WOW *-*
What happend to your finger
aw man i lost my favorite marbel making this
trái banh đây
Great video, but the music is from a horror movie. It doesn't fit the video at all.
Why would you need a tutorial on how to snip and singe the ends? Isn't it self-evident. Scissors, flame, done.
in spanish please
dmvl
What a mess to tie, no pattern or logic to it...not for me
