That’s the ground to complete the circuit for the interior lights. Soon as you open the door, pin pops out, grounds and the light comes on. Get you a manual for the S and read up on it. I’d take care of any little electrical stuff first-get all that right. Battery dying may mean a parasitic draw-something is still powered up when the key is off. Another thing is the alt may not be charging. All this stuff is right here on UA-cam. Start watching those how to vids fam! You got this!!💪🏾💪🏾
Where is your vacuum line from your brake booster to the back of the carburetor you got to have that hook up I no your brake pedal stiff as a rock an run a wire from the back of your alternator to your battery that should keep you charging you also have a dark brown wire that's in your wire harness that hooks to your alternator plug that's the plug that plugs into the alternator you must have that hooked up as well
This brown wire is what I was missing. I think. The alternator doesn’t know how much voltage to regulate. So it’s draining my battery. But hopefully after tomorrow’s vlog. I’ll have it all together and won’t loose power
I think reason why the car dies is because you need advance timing, seems like u got ignition time but round 3500 rpm u lose spark because your distributor has lose timing
I think I figured it out this evening , But I’m also gonna get a timing light as well to check my timing. But there’s a plug on my alt that needs to be wired a certain way. Stay tuned for the video I post tomorrow.
Your alternator bad I had that same problem battery kept dieing when I let it sit for a while it’s a bad circuit in the alternator that’s draining the battery I bet that’s your problem
