I was told the power steering pump can make the transmission act up , 2001 Nissan Xterra , it slips some times & when you take it out of reverse into drive it does the same thing ..
Power steering pump has nothing to do with automatic transmission. Most of the time the Pulse width modular value will cause intermittent shifting problem with the automatic transmission.
