This was quite helpful just got a gen 2 6r80 a little over a month ago and had a build sheet laid quite similar glad to confirm I was on the right path and the other stuff you added will aid in me in getting where I want it!
If you like to have fun on the street more I'd recommend gt350 manifold e85 and long tubes you'll have alot of fun but remember tires are important if you drag race if you can get mickey thompson et street r
I am a long time listener. I believe these are the best videos you have put out. There’s so much bad information out there from parts suppliers especially. This should help clarify everything. ❤❤
Hey Alex, do you think running the bias ply helped save the axles with that big converter? I have that same combo on wifeys car, but have been putting off throwing the converter in because she has drag ET street Rs at the moment.
My 2016 GT ran 12.4 at full weight with just a catback, tune, E85, 2018 manifold, 55lb injectors. Probably would have ran high 11's with longtubes. It was my first time tuning/modding a car but I suppose it did OK.
@YDBT4LIFE planning on ess that's why I got the supporting mods. Thanks for replying. Been subscribed for awhile maybe meet up one day if I'm ever in Florida
I've seen a lund flex tuned gen3/10r fox with headers run 10's spinning. Video of it is on my channel. NA 10r80 is daddy, boosted the 6r80 would be the smarter choice.
@@rileyneufeld7001 it depends also on personal feel too , when I’m in a 10r it always feels like it shifting or “hunting “ for gears , and it’s a noticeable like it a constant lil jerk on every shift , as a daily 6r hands down
@@JohnnAlaniz I can agree with that, my 10r80 car is fun to drive but as a daily I could see all the shifting getting annoying. But I doubt a coyote swapped fox body would be a daily driver. I still stand with the 10r80 being for NA and 6r80 for boosted applications.

This man knows his stuff. My stock gen 2 with a 93 tune was going 12.7 in the 1/4!
Another awesome video right off the dome. Thank you, Alex!

Red car was the best car
Mine ran 12.2 with Lund 93 tune, muffler delete, 170 stat, and Hoosier drag radials.

Went 11.9x at 120mph on my NA 6r80 gen 2. Ported 18 mani e85 18 stock cai headers and a drag pack stock 3:15 rear and stock converter
ngl you should have went at least 11.7 you gotta work on that 60ft
What should i set my rev limiter to when i get a tune? I have a muffler delete and resonator delete on a 6r80 gen 2 base model
I miss my 2016 E85 CJ 6R80 car so bad.
What torque converter do you recommend exactly?
What would be the best combo for Roll racing?
in Canada the best gas we got is 92 octane but hard to find. Whats the best mods for 12 sec with 91?
Boosted gen 2 next
Man I’d be deep 11s with a drag pack. Went 12.0 @117.5 with an 18 manifold, cai, e85 and a catback. Stock 3.55 gears and 3800+ lbs
Could you do an f150 build series??
Can I use stage 3 Na cams to go twin turbos

@@gutallama bro, you don’t know what his DA was
@@iniguezignacio9 again, DA

@@YDBT4LIFE oil pump gears/ etc. Long tubes ffe, circle d 3c converter, jlt tune req, carbon driveshaft, renegade axles, drag pack and a tune
2017 gt premium 6r80 car

Alex are you doing a NA manual build video also?
Already did
Gen 2 6r80 or gen 3 10r80 for a fox body?
6r over 10r always.
