I had the same problem.. but I used this once. It's not that much small . There is enough space for a couple to fit in, even though they don't normally allow it because of security reasons. ..

I don't think you can compare IRCTC dormitory with this . For people like me it's not only about money it's comfort privacy and safety too.. so many other Asian countries have this these days .. so i think it's time for us to experience these things.. if you compare the Mumbai pod rental charges you can see there is not much difference.. so let's be supportive instead of being judgemental without experiencing it .
@@salmaam6656 its not about visiting the place or anything, i pointed out the price point of view only, you can even see the IRCTC AC HUT dormitory in Trivandrum central, it provide much more space and comfortable than this.
@@rajaanu87 i compared only bcs in Trivandrum where cheap options are available then why people have to try this,In Mumbai already cheap dormitories are available in byculla, Belapur regions. if pods are available at this price near CST, people might choose because near CST and nariman point it's impossible to get a good single room less than 2800/- so people might choose this but trivandrum scenario is entirely different. if you just walk to thampanoor ksrtc stand side you can easily get a good single room for less than 1500/- per day. Then why to choose this ,
I think most people want cleanliness. Trivandrum has tier one companies in Technopark and is a major city with a lot of emerging companies. For people coming for a brief stay, this is a good stay. None of the options you mentioned are clean or maintained well. I think such options would be successful in major tier two cities like Trivandrum.
This is a private thing. And for your knowledge world's fully solar powered airport is in Kerala and it's running successfully. An idea even developed countries failed to achieve.
