Hi, could you or any one please explain how to measure the drums to know what size of head to get? Thank you in advance.

Sure. The crown of a drum head is how they are measured. That is the edge to edge size. Take a tape measure or ruler and simply put on top of the head and measure from one edge to another edge.
      Common full sizes:
Macho (smallest drum of the set): 7.15” crown = 7” or 7-¼”
Hembra (largest drum of the set): 8.5” crown = 8.5” or 8-⅝”, 9”
      Common entry level sizes:
Macho (smallest drum of the set): 6-¾”
Hembra (largest drum of the set): 8”
Fyi this is different from the drum size which is measured to the shells bearing edge to edge.
