Lovely Keith, always worth the wait and I love the misty start! Got to be one of the most exciting subjects to photograph! Always the way, get a brew out and they turn up, lol.. cheers R👍
Making yourself a drink or preparing food is almost a guaranteed action starter. It always seems to happen mid pour of the coffee 😂😂. Well done for sticking it out 👍
Hi Keith, good idea to have a project on the go. The minute I get a drink out something turns up almost guaranteed. Lovely footage of the dragonfly. All the best, Steve.
As we know Kingfishers are little B's to get pictures of, when you haven't got a camera in your hand, they are every ware. great video Keith thanks for sharing.
Hi Keith, Your footage of the Kingfisher, was similar to the one that I got. Mine was in a branch of a bush, overhanging some water in a lake at my local park. It was also a good distance from me. Quite annoying, really, as these moments don't come very often. Still, it was better than nothing for me...🙂👍🏻
Frustration with a capital "F" there Keith ! Still as you said looked like it turned out a nice day weather wise and just good to be out there. Keep on trying. 👍
Patience pays off Keith. Brilliant. Difficult in that misty light too. Haven’t seen Kingfishers around here either - loads last year but not this. See them flashing past occasionally and hear them but no chance with a photo 😃😃 Love those misty mornings though. Dragonflies beautiful- those Common Hawkers are just so photogenic!! And then that gorgeous little Kingfisher. What a morning mate 👍👍👏👏 Wonderful film this mate.
Thanks mate. Yes, it has been a strange year for them. No sign around my area for most of the summer but now they seem to be making a resurgence. Was happy to catch a little slow-motion of the Dragonflies. Cheers Keith
HI Keith if ever their is a sods law moment that's it lol but I thought the last image was a good one so no failure, until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
There is only one in the UK. If you know where they perch and feed. It can be quite easy with patience but they do move very quickly and quite skittish. Easier to spot than photograph.
Sehr schönes Video des motiviert. 👍👍
Thanks
Cheers Keith. Glad it showed up for you. Patience well rewarded. All the best.👍📷😎
Cheers mate, always great to see one.
Good to catch up with a Kingfisher. I liked the Slow motion of the Emperor in flight 👍
Thanks mate struggled a bit but can’t always have everything
Lovely Keith, always worth the wait and I love the misty start! Got to be one of the most exciting subjects to photograph! Always the way, get a brew out and they turn up, lol.. cheers R👍

Great atmospheric film Keith you captured the dragonfly well I know how difficult it is to get footage of the kingfisher but well done regards Dave 👍
Thanks Dave always good to have a challenge and Kingfishers are definitely that 😂
As we know Kingfishers are little B's to get pictures of, when you haven't got a camera in your hand, they are every ware. great video Keith thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate, I guess it is the challenge that is one of the biggest parts of wildlife photography.

Well, I will never complain about seeing a Kingfisher, a stunning bird even from a distance.
Frustration with a capital "F" there Keith ! Still as you said looked like it turned out a nice day weather wise and just good to be out there. Keep on trying. 👍
Thanks Glenn, yes always just good to get out there anyway. Don't worry will always keep trying.

How many species of kingfishers seen in the UK? Are all of them easy to spot and photograph?
