Bank Vole and Tawny Owl - UK Wildlife and Nature Photography
Переглядів 4572 місяці тому
The Bank Vole and the Tawny Owl were the stars of this show. The Tawny Owl chicks just sat sleeping in the tree having branched out. They only appeared for one day and then they were gone again. The Bank Vole was around for a while and was always great fun to watch running around in the morning sunshine for our UK wildlife and Nature Photography. Just a couple of surprises Thanks for watching.....
Wildlife Photography Walk - Canon R5

Join me on a Wildlife Photography Walk with the Canon R5. I have been so lazy lately just sitting in the nearest hide with the R5 waiting for the wildlife to appear. Nice and relaxing but maybe not the best way to find something different. Muntjac, Buzzards and a couple of Hares are a few of the sightings. My wildlife walk just made me realise how unfit I am and how I need too extend the bounds...

Misty Start - UK Wildlife and Nature Photography - Canon R5

With a Misty strat the world unfolds in muted tones today, draped in a veil of mist that softens the edges and whispers secrets. Each breath puffs a tiny cloud into the silent air, and the chirping of unseen birds mingles with the hushed rustling of leaves damp with clinging droplets. Distant sounds seem muffled, creating a sense of intimacy with your surroundings. The familiar landscape takes ...

Floods and photography as we attempt to recover the trail cam we put out before the rain and storms moved in. having had and used both the EF 1.4x and EF 2.0x, I must say I was happier with the 1.4x version. Just little extension of the telephoto while preserving the sharpness and not taking a big hit on the aperture. Since I have converted over to the R series cameras, I am building my RF collection. Probably will trade my EF 100-400 for the RF 100-500 and later pick up the RF 1.4x.

    • @KGsPhotography
      @KGsPhotography Місяць тому

      Thanks for the feedback I think you have it spot on re the difference between the converters. Your route to the 100-500 and 1.4x is exactly the same as mine and I have no regrets. Thanks Keith

    I would not recommend you by this TC22 . I bought two and both had issues . The app has horizontal banding on the image ! Images downloaded to your phone however don't show the banding , so evidently the app has issues . One of TC22's stopped being able to video, giving about 5 seconds of video and then the image all scambled and the video stopped . I lost confidence and both . It is a real shame , on face value , they look well made , externally and briefly function properly . At £109.99 each , I nearly lost £220.00 ! They should have some longevity in them ! So Keith , be careful what your promoting and reviewing . In my experience , none of these Wildlife cameras are of any use . Until an established brand such as Sony , Nikon or Canon produce these , I Will not be spending my money on any unbranded wildlife cameras . I , fortunately got a full refund , after returning both of these cameras . Best wishes , Richard .

      @KGsPhotography Місяць тому

      Hi Richard. Sorry to hear you have had problems. Unfortunately, the only thing I can do is give my experience, maybe I was lucky. I still have the camera and mine seems to be working fine so maybe there is a bad batch out there. Good that they at least gave you your money back. Thanks for the comment and good to get every view on things so that people can make an informed decision. Appreciate you supporting the channel and have a good weekend with lots of wildlife. Cheers Keith

      @@KGsPhotography Hi thankyou well you have just answered my query I think they have gone then possibly and that's why I have only been seeing the Barn Owls recently at dusk overcast days because before I saw the short eared owls eveytime hunting. Do you know where they go abroad in the summer out off interest I wasn't aware they leave the UK ? See alot off Marsh Harriers where I go also but no Kites 👍
