I am on your side for most of these plants ESPECIALLY the pink princess. They are just not worth the price you pay to buy one. I also agree with the Florida ghost. If I got that plant it would make me so sad to see the leaves revert. I got a Florida green instead and I love it so much! Definitely recommend for someone who wants the same leaf shape of the ghost but at a very cheep price.
I agree especially about the pink ptincess and florida ghost. The florida green is a fraction of the cost and looks amazing. I don't get the hype. I disagree about the Oxalis though especially the purple one that you showed. One of the few plants with gorgeous leaves and flowers indoors without any extra effort on our part.
Ficus is the ones I don't like, only because they grow to a huge, enormous tree. And I was the same as you about oxialis triangularis, I thought the same about clover weeds, and not really a fan of bulbs for the same reason, but I was in one of the plant shop one day and I saw a pot of oxalis triangularis And it was so pretty and I got tempted and bought it, it did go dormant, but not for long, one day I looked at the pot and there were shoots coming out of it, got a nice surprise, and it keeps on growing now. I called it demented though 😂 because it's definitely has attitude,
I love my purple oxalis. The flowers are actually lavender. They are pleasing. It goes dormant outside but no in inside conditions. I bought an orange yellow oxalis too. I also LOVE the ficus shivereana. I've only seen in person once and it was $400.
Pink princesses are the bomb IMO, you just have to make sure that you find one propagated from the rarer good quality TC stock from a few decades ago. They are amazing, and like the 'wow' ones from instagram. The recent batches appearing in bunnings etc are absolute trash. Hobby growers in northern NSW and all of QLD have so many of the gorgeous ones. We're also seeing a few batches of 'better' quality PPP TC stock coming in, most of in from America though.
Omg! I am so glad someone publicly came out to say something about pink princess! I got mine while they were relatively inexpensive. $50. for plant is a lot for me, but in light of what they are going for now, I got a bargain. I was on a waiting list for 6 months. When it arrived, I was underwhelmed to put it mildly. mine looks like yours, and many of the ones I've seen in plant tours look the same. I tried to prop it, takes forever to root, and the older leaves are just plain disappointing. Thanks for telling the truth, you may save someone whose about to pay a couple hundred dollars, some heartache.
Totally agree, oxalis = weeds 🤣 Two plants that are super creepy to me are the rabbits foot fern, and the picture plants; nope can’t do it. They both give me the hibbie jibbies lol
I love the Begonia Ferox, they are harder to care for as they need high humidity.. Maybe it reminds you of blackheads? lol. Pink princess needs lots of light to get pinker. But I would not get one either, not a fan of them.
I was not at all into the PPP but I won one in a contest and now that I have it, I absolutely love it and won’t ever get rid of it. It is so fun to see the new leaves- the variegation pattern is so pretty and that pink color is just so good.
I do like the ppp. I live in Canada & bought a multiple cutting plant in a 4 inch pot a number of years ago for $20 cdn. Mine has a brighter pink all over the plant & I've cut back numerous times. The prices today-I would never pay.
I don't understand anything variegated 😅 I rather save the extra cost and spend on other things. I always happy with just the normal version of the plant don't have worry about reverting and easier to take care.
Hahaha 🥰 Agree except the oxalis . That one doesn’t go dormant. Yay I have another oxalis that has gone dormant. I dislike plants that go dormant. It is annoying hehehe I was given for free from a one leaf and had grown and flowers. Definitely don’t like the ficus silver because of the yellow. Poo princess just grows to be gangery and ugly. I don’t like all begonia hahaha Florida ghost I like if they are less than $50.
I have to agree, I definitely do not like the PPP. It’s not pretty and I live in the States where they are somewhat pricey. Though I have noticed that the price is coming down. However, I love my oxalis 😍
I like most of those, and I love “plants I don’t like” videos. Never heard of ficus shiverywhatever and am putting it on my want list lol. Maybe. Could change my mind in a week
Oxalis although pretty is a noxious weed. I have a green version that sneaked into my garden from a pot from a friend and now I spend every spring trying to eliminate it... but that will never happen 😆 I even sifted the soil in attempt to remove it...
Agree with everything on your list. I have a Florida ghost and it's not all that it is cracked up to be esp if you can't provide it super intense light, the new leaves won't come out ghosty even. I am actually not a fan of any alocasia even the very beautiful jewel varieties, the dormancy is a huge turn off for me, if I can't have it beautiful in my home all year round, I don't want it haha
In us the melo is like $30 and people are more about the new cool stuff like syngonium, I listed a syngonium and it’s gone lighting fast. While my melo sits in the list and won’t sell.
I didn’t even know You could get philodendron pink princess in Bunnings? 😳 I’ve not seen any in my local Bunnings, ever! 😩 Maybe I need to venture out to other Bunnings stores cos it’s honestly on my Wishlist plant!
Oh man I think the begonia ferox looks super cool lol. I wouldn’t buy it though, since I can’t seem to keep begonias happy at all. They get all crispy or leggy, and just not cute. Totally agree about the PPP, she looks great online, but then in reality she is like a mud or brown princess. Not super cute. Nice video, thanks and have a good weekend!
Oh my gosh yes! I don’t understand the pink princess obsession. I’ve yet to see one with a half decent pink colour. I really wanted a Melo and then found the Alocasia Silver Dragon at Altra and realised I really didn’t need the melo anymore. It’s so similar. But if the price on Melos go down I’ll probably get one anyway haha.
Tbh… all begonias freak me out 😬 And **trigger warning**: I don’t get the Hoya hype. They usually look like leggy sticks and take forever to do anything 🙄
I don't agree about the Ficus. I think they are awesome plants. I have a Ficus Benjamina and it is the most beatiful and easy to care for plant ever. And Rubber plants... are you kidding me? What's not to like about them? I mean... honestly?
Plants I don't like.... expensive plants. I don't buy plants that cost more than $15
You have great self restraint!
Oxalis Triangularus is a wonderful plant.
Easy to care for beautiful foliage.
When a breeze blows it looks like fluttering butterflies.
I agree except for the oxalis. I love mine. 💜
🙈🙈 sorry hehe
It’s all good, Ange. I love love love your videos!! Never apologise for being honest and true to yourself!! 😘

I definitely love the colour of the oxalis!

Aww I’m sad to hear you feel the same way about your Princess! Thank you so much for watching love 💕
I agree with the Pink Princess. Ive done everything to encourage pink growth and my new leaf is burgundy 😭. Great video Ange ❤️
We can start a pink Princess sucks club 😂
@@plantyange I'm in.
Omg!! I just ordered a pink princess cutting for $50 😫😫😫😭😭😭
@@tripleJs2009 Fingers crossed it is good for you.
I miss your videos!
I think I agree with you on ALL the plants you mentioned here!
Yayyy! Twins 👯♀️
Totally agree, oxalis = weeds 🤣 Two plants that are super creepy to me are the rabbits foot fern, and the picture plants; nope can’t do it. They both give me the hibbie jibbies lol
Omg I should have added the rabbits foot fern. That thing is CREEEEPY!
I love the Begonia Ferox, they are harder to care for as they need high humidity.. Maybe it reminds you of blackheads? lol. Pink princess needs lots of light to get pinker. But I would not get one either, not a fan of them.

I’m guessing yours is a pretty pink Princess! In that case I’m jelly 😝
I do like the ppp. I live in Canada & bought a multiple cutting plant in a 4 inch pot a number of years ago for $20 cdn. Mine has a brighter pink all over the plant & I've cut back numerous times. The prices today-I would never pay.
I’m so so glad yours is pretty! I hope mine gets better with time 💕
I don't understand anything variegated 😅 I rather save the extra cost and spend on other things. I always happy with just the normal version of the plant don't have worry about reverting and easier to take care.
This is very true!! But some variegated things have my heart 🙈
Wow, this is great sharing... stay healthy and have a good day my friend ....
Thank you!
I have a ficus Ruby and a ficus Tineke. Beautiful 🤩❤️
Hahaha 🥰 Agree except the oxalis . That one doesn’t go dormant. Yay I have another oxalis that has gone dormant. I dislike plants that go dormant. Hahaha we almost agree on everything. Definitely the ghost needs to be cheaper!
I have to agree, I definitely do not like the PPP. It’s not pretty and I live in the States where they are somewhat pricey. Though I have noticed that the price is coming down. However, I love my oxalis 😍
That’s great news that they aren’t as expensive anymore! Hehe I’m sorry for dissing the oxalis 🙈🙈
I loved the fact that the oxalis looks like little butterflies and opens and closes dramatically with the light! But it does noooooot stay full 😒
That is pretty cute that they move!
I like most of those, and I love “plants I don’t like” videos. Never heard of ficus shiverywhatever and am putting it on my want list lol. Maybe. Could change my mind in a week
Also “pooey “ lol omg so funny
Haha I’m glad you found something new for your wish list 💕
Oxalis although pretty is a noxious weed. I have a green version that sneaked into my garden from a pot from a friend and now I spend every spring trying to eliminate it... but that will never happen 😆 I even sifted the soil in attempt to remove it...
I didn’t know they were so annoying to remove!

Nooo that’s such a shame that yours isn’t that ghosty 😭
In us the melo is like $30 and people are more about the new cool stuff like syngonium, I listed a syngonium and it’s gone lighting fast. While my melo sits in the list and won’t sell.
That’s crazy! I would get it if it was that cheap haha

I see them at Bunnings quite frequently! But they aren’t very pink 😢
Oxalis move like butterflies. Literally.
You just don’t know yet. 😂I miss mine!
Hehe maybe one day I’ll like them 😝
Oh man I think the begonia ferox looks super cool lol. I wouldn’t buy it though, since I can’t seem to keep begonias happy at all. They get all crispy or leggy, and just not cute. Why are begonia so fussy?! I wish I could have them 😢
@@plantyange awww yeah, me too 😿
I honestly have to agree with you on most of these.
Yay! Thanks sue 💕
Oh my gosh yes! I don’t understand the pink princess obsession. I’ve yet to see one with a half decent pink colour.

Girl same, PPPs always looking sick and the pink + green always ends up a muddy color. Same thing with the strawberry shakes
I totally agree! If the price wasn’t as high then I would probably have one 🙈
Tbh… all begonias freak me out 😬
And **trigger warning**:
I don’t get the Hoya hype. They usually look like leggy sticks and take forever to do anything 🙄
I totally get that about Hoya. But those leaves are too magical for me not to wait haha
I'm definitely with you on the oxalis! I have never seen one I liked 😭😭
Right?! 😂
I totally agree
I own many plants, but not a single ficus. Never understood the hype 😅
I assumed everyone would have jumped on the FLF wagon haha
Totally agree with the pink princess overrated
💕💕
I don't agree about the Ficus. I think they are awesome plants. I have a Ficus Benjamina and it is the most beatiful and easy to care for plant ever. And Rubber plants... are you kidding me? What's not to like about them? I mean... honestly?
That’s great that you like them. I’ve just stopped enjoying them that much! :)
@@plantyange I guess it's great that we don't all like the same plants :) Would have been boring if we did.
Ficus benjamina..even all other ones? It thrives in my area.
Great shirt! 🇺🇸
Thank you!
Hallo Planty... Kamu unyuk unyuk (beauty) 👍💞

First like 😊

Begonia ferox-makes me itch😖
Soo gross 🤮
