The Borderlands Movie Was Sadly Disappointing

- Hey, how’s it going, today is the day the Borderlands movie is finally out and I’m going to give my honest thoughts on it. It’s currently 1 pm and I’m going to see the movie at 3. I wanted the first minute or two of this video to be my final thoughts before I actually see the movie, and then we will get into my fresh thoughts right after I see it. I haven’t watched any reviews as I wanted my thoughts to be entirely my own. All I have seen is the rotten tomato rating which is not looking good, there is a singular good review and it is by someone who has never played the game and says the only good thing about it is Cate Blanchett she also suggested that the Lilith role be changed to accommodate an older actor. I have a thought why not just hire an actor that is younger and would just fit the role. Where I’m at right now I think the movie will be a 3/10 in my opinion. I also thought I would show There are currently 10 people including me who have bought tickets to the movie so far. While I’m watching the movie I’m going to be taking a few notes of things I liked and things I didn’t. The last thing I’ll say is this is 100% my opinion if you don’t agree that is completely okay.

Unfortunately. There were some things I liked but very sad more things from the borderlands games weren’t in the movie

Not gunna lie. Once i seen kevan hart was in the movie i knew it would be trash
Kevin Hart did a fairly good job at playing Roland, I liked claptrap the best but both Hellfire and St4rkiller said Roland was their favorite
It looked like a reskinned jumanji, also the fact they didn’t get the voice of claptrap,For claptrap. Is absolutely insane
eli roth said he wanted people to leave the theater believing it was the most fun theyve ever had in a theater watching a movie in years but yeah completely forgot about deadpool and wolverine
I saw dead pool and wolverine this week as well and that experience was so much more enjoyable
At least the second one have more shape but is not so funny (maybe, expectations too high)

I’ll wait for Netflix. I was so hopeful since the Fallout TV series was really well done.
I think it's best to just wait, I feel as though this could have done so much better as a series it would have given much more time to elaborate on plot details.
We get so many shitty video games adaptations that it's criminal
It's like 3 crappy movies to every one well-done video game movie

I knew there was gunna be a short joke but in the first 5 minutes is crazy very original and very in character for Roland 10/10 movie can’t wait for the sequel and the pre sequel

I hate how they treated Claptrap😢.
Its my main the Pre-S and my Fav boss in Borderlands 1. But even in the games is a outdated funny guy😢😢
And to think I still had hope

I’m sad that the movie itself was bad, but like you said i’m glad that it did bomb and really show the people behind it how bad it was.
