Dam, I was going to say the same thing as JV220. I could watch Chris work on stuff for hours. He just does such good quality work it’s so nice to see. Buggy rebuild! I love that buggy!!!
I'm really happy that you are resolving issues with Side Chick rather than putting it on the market. That rig is so bad ass! It's one of the best performing buggies I've ever seen out there. I'm sure your driving skills may have something to do with it. 😁
I worked in an exhaust shop and have to say nice job on the Y pipe. I do hope there is enough room for the exhaust to move with the engine torque and it's not so rigid that it will cause it to break. The hangers are nice, but I have doubt on it being able to flex. That is why they are normally hung on straps. Even bridges and buildings have floating floors to allow for movement.
As much as i love watching you two wheel I enjoy watching Chris wrench on everything that needs maintenance or modification (you destroy) just as much. He is so incredibly talented. Thanks you 3 for the hours and hours of entertainment. I appreciate you.
It was announced on Matt's Off Road channel Lite Brite will be attending the Off Road Games. Yes!! I was there last year and will be there again this year. Hope to meet all of you there!
I use DEI exhaust 1/2 wraps on the YJ. They have metal stand offs, and stainless clamps. They have been on the YJ for 10 years, and still work great. You can adjust them to keep heat away from stuff, and since they only go around 1/2 of the pipe, they don't trap water etc.
Mad props, MAD props Chris, its very interesting when someone is running exhaust, something most people take for granted, the angles are crazy, you have to see the direction first in your head, then make the bends to make them connect! seems easy.........NOT. Great job Chris you are very talented bro!
The 302 is going to be SOOO MUCH BETTER with the Holley EFI on it. With the EFI and new exhaust, it's going to seem like you have a new engine and It's going to be much better when crawling with the EFI. It's pretty much impossible to get a carburetor to work 100% properly on those 302s. The first carbureted 302 I built for a truck about drove me crazy, I could not get it set, and on my last try before I got EFI for it, the header on the right side would turn cheery red while idling. and I was done with carburetors! lol.
Rap works great on stainless exhaust. I have a 2000 Kawasaki ZX6 rr with a rap on it from almost day 1 and I replaced it 2 years ago due to it being dirty and the pipes were in great shape under it.
Looks like the chassis side of the upper link mounts are single shear. I’d throw a tab at it if you have the time, while it is easily accessible. In a competition, you might get rowdy and one of those bolts might leave the chat. It’s not pretty when they do. Exhaust looks great Chris. Buggies might offer accessibility with all the holes, but they usually don’t give you squat for space. You do a great job of fitting 10 pounds of exhaust in a 5 pound bag.
Nice work Chris only problem I see is that Dump in the dirt is going to create a dust cloud around the cab, I would try face it out the rear more. Just from previous experience with a dump facing down mate. Love ya work mate 😉
Love watching Chris work! That said, I’d ditch the 302 and put something like a Godzilla in, if you want to stay with Ford. Otherwise, I’d do a dry sump LS.
Cut it out Chris! I thought Brittney just liked to yell ! SideChick gonna be sweet. Y'all ever thought of making and selling builds? You're sure good at making them, and good ones. Winter Jamboree coming up. Going to be a cold one, and maybe wet. See y'all there, if y transmission gets fixed in time; otherwise I'll be a camera guy without a ride! LiteBriteNationQuietsThingsDown!
See I can't wait for the moment when I can stop living bycariously through your UA-cam channel and start doing the things that yall do I love the stuff that you do but as it stands at the current moment I can not just go out wheeling as I don't have a vehicle I cab do that with though hopefully sometime soon I'll have a vehicle I can start to build to do the crazy that you do
Happy to see that Brittany left the ford motor in sidechick after she talked so much shit about it when they first got it! lol. Original muffler looked like a Spintech. They are NOT known for being quiet haha. Nice work Sir.
ok I freaking love the love wich you do your work you really do it with passion for that and many reasons more love your videos you've done a masterpiece with that I thinkk a Thermal Sound Deadener mat in the panels will help with the resonation and sound that is making cant wait for next video 😜😁🤜🤛👏👏💪
Since CATs don’t rob you of power (like they did back in the day), and it helps to quiet the rig down more (so that I can actually hear people without having to shut it down). Not to mention eliminating the worst of the exhaust fumes so that I’m not sitting there inhaling it all day on the trail. 😊
here is a question you should have Brittany do some of the work or have chris do a teaching episode with her. I highly doubt that she is anything like Kevin who gets distracted by the newest shiny upgrade.
I’d have totally made it so the muffler couldn’t come back out. Also, why the third mount? Wouldn’t the two work fine to keep it suspended and then once you clamp it to the cat it’d all stay in place…
It Really Pains me to see Chris doing all this work and Not being swapping out that ford boat anchor... If you are going to all this trouble why not just do it all and put a decent motor in it. A motor that has lots of support and parts...

So if your looking for a cat delete, call Kevin. I think you'll like the 20 inch MF. That is what I had in my motorhome with the 502. They were pretty quiet - almost too quiet for my liking.
Driver side has onboard air & air tank, plus wiring, and running it on passenger side also helps to keep the heat away from me as a driver (especially when I rarely have a passenger in the rig with me)
I'm glad I'm not the only one that just belligerently butt welds exhaust systems and v bands together with a MIG welder. TIG welding is overrated at times.

To Quiet down the exhaust even more and to not have any fuel smell while on the trail waiting or on obstacles. It’s not needed, it’s just appreciated. No headaches or anything and no lack of performance
It’s mostly for the sake of quieting the sound even more as well as to help eliminate exhaust smell while waiting to attempt an obstacle or while climbing an obstacle. CATs are so efficient now that it won’t hurt performance & the benefits outweigh it by a lot for an open buggy like this. 😊🤙

I could watch Chris work for hours. Like watching an artist create a masterpiece every time
Yes he will be missed here shortly it sounds like.
Very talented man!
@@robnobrc how so??
I want him to build mne a badass k5 blazer!
Dam, I was going to say the same thing as JV220. I could watch Chris work on stuff for hours. He just does such good quality work it’s so nice to see. Buggy rebuild! I love that buggy!!!
You the man Chris. Love seeing you build. So cool. Can't wait to see her drive.
If the rest of it turns out as nice as the exhaust, it will be golden! Nice work, Chris!
Always enjoy watching fabrication and wheeling.
Dam, Chris is allsome. I love watching him work

I can't wait to see the new side chick wheeling. Happy Trails to all at LBN.
I’ve picked up some good tips on building exhaust from Chris ..it doesn’t take a fortune in tools just good workmanship and patience.
It was announced on Matt's Off Road channel Lite Brite will be attending the Off Road Games. Yes!! I was there last year and will be there again this year. Hope to meet all of you there!
Seeing the Bronco in the background makes me happy

Rainy Wednesday First!
Everybody needs a Chris.
You should try the Lizard Skin screaming Sound deadening on the body panels to help Brit hear better in the buggy.
I just wanna say that Chris would be a phenomenal teacher. Love you all!
Sweet! Loving this rebuild! Favorite rig on the Channel, hope to see it at KOH!
Mad props, MAD props Chris, its very interesting when someone is running exhaust, something most people take for granted, the angles are crazy, you have to see the direction first in your head, then make the bends to make them connect! seems easy.........NOT. Great job Chris you are very talented bro!
Cris you have my upmost respect. You are one hell of a fabricator. Love your work.
Go Chris go. I'm exhausted.
I hope you guys are paying him very well! He’s worth it
Helpful tip removing glass fibers is to use a water bottle and saturate it. Helps tremendously keeping airborne and debri 👍🏻 👊🏻🥃
We had to make a call! But we got it done😂 Chris... ya frigging off the chain good!

“I know you’ve been dying for some wheeling videos…”
Nope, I’m only here for the build videos. I love them!!

We need some content on that Bronco in the background!!.
It’s gotta sbf in it! Wow! 🤛🏼
great job.

Chris is very impressive at all the upgrades outstanding Content and Video Thanx for sharing your experience with your work 👌
Have a Great Day 👍
Thanx for all
Chris content, hope I can meet you someday. I'd love to ha e his skills and talent.
Maybe put sound panels on floor panels to help reduce sound as well. Good job on exhaust, very clean.
Great job Chris
Dude I love these fabrication videos. Maybe more… I say we get a second channel just for fabrication. Vlog style, How to’s…etc!
Brother thank you for your patience cause to film & weld 😅 keep up the good work bro 🙏🏽 stay safe
See I can't wait for the moment when I can stop living bycariously through your UA-cam channel and start doing the things that yall do I love the stuff that you do but as it stands at the current moment I can not just go out wheeling as I don't have a vehicle I cab do that with though hopefully sometime soon I'll have a vehicle I can start to build to do the crazy that you do
Great work Chris!
Sounds like it's time for Chris to install a radio like he did on the can-am with a mount spot for a handheld that stays in the side chick
Good job it's looking awesome !!!
Nailed it again Chris
Look who turned up to close out the video after all Chris's hard work, hi beautiful How's Kriket 😉🥰
Happy to see that Brittany left the ford motor in sidechick after she talked so much shit about it when they first got it! lol. Original muffler looked like a Spintech. They are NOT known for being quiet haha. Nice work Sir.
Maybe ask Fabrats to do it. All those welds😂
Awesome work Chris 👏 👌
I hope you are going to the Sniper 2 I hated my Sniper 1. but since i switched to the 2 it has been great
OK Brittany take me 4 wheeling with you and if you get any rocks stuck in you tires, I'll help you get your rocks off😂❤
ok I freaking love the love wich you do your work you really do it with passion for that and many reasons more love your videos you've done a masterpiece with that I thinkk a Thermal Sound Deadener mat in the panels will help with the resonation and sound that is making cant wait for next video 😜😁🤜🤛👏👏💪
Chris deserves a pay raise! Lol
What about adding a rugged radio set up with helmet coms?
Curious why you are running a cat on an off road rig in Utah? We don't even have to do it in California, but I am sure it is coming.
I was wondering the same thing
100% wondering the same thing
Since CATs don’t rob you of power (like they did back in the day), and it helps to quiet the rig down more (so that I can actually hear people without having to shut it down). Not to mention eliminating the worst of the exhaust fumes so that I’m not sitting there inhaling it all day on the trail. 😊
Great video thank you!
Ah! I've been waiting the whole year for a video from you guys... 😅😅 (I go hide myself dw :p )
here is a question you should have Brittany do some of the work or have chris do a teaching episode with her. I highly doubt that she is anything like Kevin who gets distracted by the newest shiny upgrade.
put a check list on the steeling wheel
I’d have totally made it so the muffler couldn’t come back out. Also, why the third mount? Wouldn’t the two work fine to keep it suspended and then once you clamp it to the cat it’d all stay in place…
Lots of heat & how's it getting out ?? Are headers really needed in that 🐢 trotter rock crawler ?? Seems good ported manifolds would suffice 🤔🤔,
It Really Pains me to see Chris doing all this work and Not being swapping out that ford boat anchor... If you are going to all this trouble why not just do it all and put a decent motor in it. A motor that has lots of support and parts...
😮"Ugly"? Nuh Uh! Side Chick in Beautiful!
this is why titanium is best!
Does lite bright do jeep tours in Moab?
Don’t say that I love this part of the channel
Chris where do i find the hangers
Should have put stacks on it 😂
Curious as to y use a cat on a off-road rig anyway… and I might get the answer later🤷♂️ but good job!

I love the Betsie Ross flag in the background! I have a III%er on my back window. I am guessing you know what that is.
I hope @flexrocksrollovers invites you to his next 24 hell and back challenge!
So if your looking for a cat delete, call Kevin.
I think you'll like the 20 inch MF. That is what I had in my motorhome with the 502. They were pretty quiet - almost too quiet for my liking.
I just looked, and I don't have a Chris in my garage, where can I find a Chris?😁😁😶😁🙃🙂
Chris has is 💯 , cut it out and fix it right. Love seeing SideChick getting her 2024 makeover!!! Hope you guys are having a amazing day ❤️❤️💯🤙
So is Jamie going to be the first to drive it🤔🤔👌🇦🇺
My cat self destruycted like that and ended up in the muffler, so I did a muffler delete. Just a puny V6 so more noise and no more power 😂
I could be Chris's camera man, since he doesn't have three hands.
How about using Bose headphones with mikes to talk with each other while in competition just an idea 😅
Why is the exhaust running on the same side as the front drive shaft? What is wrong with the driver side?
Driver side has onboard air & air tank, plus wiring, and running it on passenger side also helps to keep the heat away from me as a driver (especially when I rarely have a passenger in the rig with me)
how big is the shop you work in?
I'm glad I'm not the only one that just belligerently butt welds exhaust systems and v bands together with a MIG welder. TIG welding is overrated at times.
Why did you guys keep the cat?😊
Since CATs don’t rob you of power (like they did back in the day), and it helps to quiet the rig down more (so that I can actually hear people without having to shut it down). Not to mention eliminating the worst of the exhaust fumes so that I’m not sitting there inhaling it all day on the trail. 😊
I'm Am a old hor rodderr. Bigger exhaust doesn't b mean better. You're exhaust needs to be vacuum to to evacuation for the exhaust 😊
I want a custom home, built from road exhaust! Wait... never mind....
That was the most UNSATISFYING exhaust video EVER...🙄
What a tease.
I'm like everyone else none of my buggies I've ever built in California have ever had a cat am I missing something or is it a Utah thing
To Quiet down the exhaust even more and to not have any fuel smell while on the trail waiting or on obstacles. It’s not needed, it’s just appreciated. No headaches or anything and no lack of performance
How come you use a cat on it?
To quiet the sound even more and so you don’t have raw fuel smell when sitting still or climbing big obstacles. Cats don’t hurt performance anymore
You're welcome. I sent Matt a message to invite ya'll
Fun
Why put a cat on an off road only rig?
How come you only have 265k subscribers and that number doesn’t seam to move
🌴
why have a cat? is it to conform to law there ?
It’s mostly for the sake of quieting the sound even more as well as to help eliminate exhaust smell while waiting to attempt an obstacle or while climbing an obstacle. CATs are so efficient now that it won’t hurt performance & the benefits outweigh it by a lot for an open buggy like this. 😊🤙
oh cool I'm down in New Zealand :) love your channel definitely :)
also thanks for the reply y'all are such an inspiration to so many people & always so busy I really appreciate it ❤️
I'm surprised that you are running cat's on the buggy. i doubt any body cares in southern Utah!............😁
Was thinking same thing

999!!!!
👍❤️ #Jellynation
Earing NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why bother running cats on a buggy?
