HOW TO PROTECT a Ford Bronco & Raptor from Off Road Damage!

- Getting body damage on a brand new Ford Bronco or Bronco Raptor while off road (and we aren't talking about easy trails here) isn't exactly on anybody's bucket list. And since we plan on doing some really rowdy off road testing with this Jeep wannabe, we're making sure we at least have the bare minimum in 4x4 armor!

Dan!!!! Always there when you need anything off-road ❤️❤️💯🤙
At 7:02, it went from family friendly rated g to pg 13!😂
Just getting Plan B Raptor ready for Kevin's driving! The upgrade look awsome now but we'll see what they look like after Kevin's driving 😆 🤣😂! Happy Trails to you both!
First thing big thing I bought for our Wildtrak was the NVM full skid plates with UHMW. These things are really nice.
Dan and his team are amazing. Love the products they make. My skid plates arrive in a few days. Already have front and rear bumper, and plate relocation from Next Venture Motorsports.
More great info about B'Raptor and NVMotorSports. Wish they made stuff for my WK, but almost nobody does. The big difference is I paid 10K for it 6 years ago, then discovered this YT channel and Trail Hero. If I could afford a B'Raptor of a JLUR I'd get one in a heartbeat; or two! Amazing vehicles! Keep kool in Colorado. We'll keep the heat up for y'all here at home! LIteBriteNationSlidesAlong!
Yeah, Its a Hemi..!
It’s not what you know but who you know. 👍🏻 good to have friends with cool stuff.
I mean you are selling the BRAPTOR, one stock part at a time lol. Gold as always guys. Stay safe #LiteBriteNation
Can y’all please come to hidden falls in Texas?!? I understand kinda boring for y’all! But would be fun to wheel with y’all!!
Sorta like my wife sent me into a coughing and laughing fit.
Hahahahahaha yeah
Kev gets the comment of the year 😂
Kevin doing bedroom gymnastics getting into plan B 🤣🤣🤣
"Bone stock suspension", that just happens to be rally grade fox adjustable valve coilovers lmao.
Sorta like whaaaa??? You guys are AWESOME!!! Have a great day!!
Watching the channel with interest and your build on the BRaptor! I have its identical twin in Grand Junction and working on many of the upgrades! Missed you at Next Venture Motorsports; Dan, Tyler and team there rock! Have to meet up there next time your in town! Can’t wait to see your adventures in Colorado!😊
Would have loved to run all the NVM skids and sliders on my 392 but the price was outrageous. Had to go with another brand which has been good. so far. Branco is looking awesome.
I like the look, I think they are stout.. but cost easily 2-3x similarly built sliders. I have VKS 🤷🏻♂️
@@ShredGarage I’m running Rusty’s Off Road, so good so far.
Those guys do some really good aluminum welds!!!
Kev is going to wear thru the paint stepping on the slider. Little nubbin’ toes scratching off that red. I painted that area with bedliner on my Jeep because the same thing
They probably put that brace in there for crash protection because the base models have the crash bar whereas the Sasquatch and Raptor do not have the crash bar.
It's pretty much V6 vs I4. I have a 2.3 4 door badlands, no cross braces.
Recessed rock lights in the slider would be a nice addition.
The first rule of offroading is................................... ignore that banging and screeching from underneath.
I love those old jeep liberty there really good jeeps
Kevin should try stepping into the Bronco by stepping on the slider with his left foot instead to get in.
UHMW is a fancy name for plastic...cool sliders.
Don't find 2 door JK rock sliders on their website, so I emailed them. This will be my 3rd set, if you count tube bars, and a cheap pair. Love the videos and editing. Hope to catch you two at Smokey Mtn Jeep Invasion.
I haven’t looked yet but I have two 2 door JLs and haven’t found real frame mounted sliders. 🤦♂️
💪🐹 needs a buggy
Tell Aaron from Texas Lone Star Drift Hi! Mystery jeep solved!
Looked at some Next Venture Motorsports rear bumper for our Gladiator. Haven’t purchased it yet. It would be definitely nicer/better to me if it had corner steps like on my Colorado stock rear bumper. I guess I have gotten spoiled with them.
Lol. "That's what she said!"
Wow, I miss my Liberty. Bought her in 03, new. Traded in, in 2017 for a Ram. 3 inch lift, full time 4WD. Now I wanna go back wheeling, but my Ram is 2wd.....
I put grip tape on my sliders and lets just say I have like no hair left on the back of my calves...
He can say his parts are Kevin tough
Those look sweet. God bless take care.
I have a 392,a 2023 model, I do a lot of backcountry travel and I tow teardrop trailer, My last trip my 392 kick my butt driver fatigue do you think the raptor would be a much more comfortable option I’m thinking of getting one this week I’m spoiled by the engine on the 392, I’m just reaching out to folks before I bite the bullet after owning the 392 do you folks think I would be happy with the bronco raptor and would it be much more comfortable and do you feel it’s fun to drive. Thanks for the video you guys!!!
cant wait for next episode !!
I think you could design steel flares like most people put on xj’s and I would be functional and look good.
Solution to protecting your Bronco Raptor: Drive it to the mall where it’s meant to be driven, avoiding all dirt. 😂
Mall, starbucks, or actually offroad……it’s the cooolest rig around.
Curb rash is real
Looking good the sliders. Now you have to use them. They need some scratches 😅
Better title is "HOW TO PROTECT a Ford Bronco from Kevin"
I think the Liberty’s are the most underated Jeeps ever.. are they extreme rock crawlers nope not even close , but are they as good as a non-Raptor Bronco ,,Ya Dam Skippy ,, they are every bit as capable as a Bronco ( non raptor models) i have a 2006 Liberty i totally re-did with 2 inch Bilstein lift brand new crate engine and it is awesome esp for Snow wheeling , has brake lock diff’s traction control , perfect overlander 👍
Hey, Guys. Looking at Kevin on the step ladder, The Old Goat wants to know if you recall the Fat Man Assistance Device, Hmmm???????? Karl and The Old Goat
Maybe laser checkerboard pattern across the top for traction 🤷🏻♂️
Guys where did you bolt to the rock sliders? They still look body mounted….
My Cressidas motor mounts are made from UHMW. It's much better than solid mounts.
Living your best lives!
What happened to the front frame chop bumper you was working on
Hey guys! Just a quick question… should I get undercoating for my Jeep or just forget about it? I’m always getting different answers. Thx.
Great video thank you!
Kevin needs to see a dr if he's dropping 28 pound poops
Where is Beck??
On topic but would love to see a video with you guys and the guys from the story till now do a joint off road video together
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
the bending thing is called a brake press
Do you have to sign a waiver to work in their shop? In case you’re injured and you can’t sue them?
That single cab base truck would be closer to $30,000 in the U S
That thumbnail though 🤤🤤👣
I would like to get the jlu frame chop kit
The Raptor needs smaller fender flairs.
Honestly, a stock Bronco Raptor with IFS doing better than a 79' Bronco with a Solid Axel isn't bad.
Best way to protect it would be to not let you guys drive it! lol
Kevin, you said JT. What's your plan??
What about cv shaft upgrades?
👍
Where has Becca gone? No longer on the channel
Do we get a sticker if we know that the jeep is your friend aaron from lone star drift? 😅
Gold star. ⭐️
Are these the shortened sliders or full length?
They are the shortened sliders to clear larger tires.
So are these tied into the frame at all or is it only connected to the body?
This is the reason is ordered RCI sliders
RCI hang SUPER low and would get caught up on the stuff we want to do. They kill your break over angle and would get you stuck on hard trails. They are fine for mild stuff and great if you need a full step but they would not work for our application.
@@LiteBrite are not concerned about damage to the with them connected to it instead of the frame. Especially with how hard you guys go.
@@LiteBrite fair enough. My wildtrak will never see the extremes you guys do. I got RCI on sale & I don’t mind the step ..Next venture was my 2nd choice , I do like the additional UHMW , so I’m def looking into getting the underbody protection … i visit family in GJ also , so it’s ez to pick up parts …. subbed to your channel for a few years 🏁🤘🏼still a new off road driver
thats what she said
Leave it at the dealership? Lol
I’ll follow the step child in my Bronco and articulation is a bit overrated.
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Is she is on O F?
Yes
👋👋😁
👍❤️ #Jellynation
UHMW , basically dyneema ?
Dyneema is made out of a specific type of UHWM, UHWMPE.
@@Nanan00 So wich UHMW is this ?
8th inside first 10 👊🏻🫣🙌🏻👍🏻
really may as well buy a jeep
Outtro music reminded me of:

Next Venture has great stuff. But I’d rather watch Chris do real work or some good wheeling. Not another 20min advertisement.
❤❤❤😘Absolutely gorgeous!!!😘❤❤❤
First!
Could I be first?
