My edc: Maxpedition sling bag exterior: 2x12kn carabiners for rando stuff, small aa olight flashlight, smoken gorilla moral patch, cat tourniquet in a holster, 1lt water bottle. In external pouches: 1lt platypus water bottle and sawyer mini water filter, letherman wave, small wetstone, 18650 olight flashlight, spare 18650, tape roll with duct tape, electrical tape and self sealing silicon tape, spare tourniquet, Israeli bandage, emt shears, compressed tp tabs, assorted pens and marker, lasr pen, write in rain pad, titanium spork, small utility knife, lighters, fire starters, whistle, nail clippers, silicone impregnated cloth for tool maintenance, and a NAA .22 mag with 100rds in a little pocket pouch, as well as a mini survival altoids tin kit. Inside the bag: 1tigras silnylon poncho shelter, sol escape bivvi, small pocket ground sheet, bandannas, wool socks, wool beenie, boxers, small aa headlamp, EarPods, portable Apple Watch charger, 26k power bank, spare AA batts for all electronics, mini universal battery charger, assorted usb cables, compass/whistle combo thing, mora fixed blade knife in custom sheath, comprehensive first aid kit, mechanics gloves, mini backup portable desktop pc in a phone case, emergency blanket and hand warmers, sunglasses, compact lock pick kit, 8oz jerky, 4x Lara bars, 2x 400cal boat ration bars, empty space for lunchbox and rando whatever I need that day. Kits for to get up to 2days to my truck (really overestimating that time) where all the pouches and most of the gear can be transferred to the ghb which is bigger and has proper straps. In that bag: bivvy replaced by wool blanket hammock/fly setup prestrung in snakeskin pouches, extra cordage, larger med kit, 3x FD meals, 3x 400cal boat ration bars, mini camp cooking kit with pot pan butane stove and fuel, more robust camping knife, small folding saw, small folding solar panels, warmer clothes, sw emergency radio and batteries, sewing awl, fleece hoodie, proper compass, long throw flashlight also 18650, and a few other random bits I can’t recall off the top of my head. The get home bag is 20lbs with water in it, when combined the bugout lit is 40ish lbs depending how much food and water I have at the time. Have been refining the kits for over a decade now when I started it was just one bag and weighed in at over 60lbs 😂
I had a Rush 12 for about 5 years. I’ve carried 5/6 days a week since buying it. Some of the snitching on one shoulder strap has come undone recently. This bag will serve you well. I can’t find a gray man-ish bag with the Rush’s organisation, build quality, comfort and for the price. The LA Police Gear Terrain Stealth comes very close.
Great video man, I do the same thing with the lint out of my dryer. I also use cotton balls saturated in petroleum jelly. I believe we spoke for a bit at the Moore Expo. Looking forward to next years expo.
Lots of people will say to go grey man style, but in Texas, NO ONE is greyman, so going greyman style would probably stick out more in a SHTF scenario. Especially out of cities.
This! When SHTF ppl give a %%% about your backpack style. They will be prepared and therefore identify you as a valuable target or they will be lost and take any chance anyway and attack everyone to survive. Maybe tactical is even better as it may look bad a%% and ppl may avoid confrontation with you.
Looks good. I’d add an emergency (foil) blanket and aquamira tabs. An hour away from home easily translates to 40+ miles which will take a couple days on foot.
I'm the same way, I have 5.11 all over my All Hazards Nitro, the 5.11 medical shears, tourniquet pouch, medical pouch, 1aaa flashlight, several 5.11 patches, the same knife, the beanie in black, all from 5.11 😁
I would just add too your bag of lint try putting some Vaseline in the bag with the lint and smush it around . Waterproofs your tinder and add some flammability as well as shape ability to make a nice little bird nest.
Although I would definitely double bag it make sure the air is out or put it in a protective tan so it doesn’t get smooshed and you end up with Vaseline all in your bag.
I’ve got a couple of them from when I EAS’d from the Marine Corps back in 2019. Don’t have any idea what the cover is? I found one on Amazon that’s pretty similar
Finally gets in the bag at 7:38.

I have one in Camo, and I love it! I’m not in the military, but so what? It’s just a color.

I have a 511 72 rush bag multicam
Nice set up I run a Rush 12 as well.
Great video bro, what was the name of the small orange knife, i fking love it!
Grayman seems goofy to me. I can guarantee you most people won’t care or notice what you’re wearing. Most people have their own issues.
I buy what I like. I don’t care what people think
Cool video. Just found you on here. Here in texas too. I have a video on what my edc bag looks like. Look forward to checking out more videos. Subbed.
Just found your UA-cam 🔥🔥🔥👌🏽 Intro 👊🏽‼️ I happen to use the Rush 12 2.0 black & same 5.11 carabiner 🙌🏽
