The Marine's speech goes so hard. This started as a shitpost, but it's unironically some of the best writing and acting I've ever seen for the Space Marines. Please keep making whatever gives you an excuse to write and act in such a compelling way.
It sounds incredibly similar to "Dagon" by HP Lovecraft.
Yea, something about the speech at the end feels so grim but sad at the same time, because they destroyed the planet out of mercy of what it has become.

For anyone who didn't understand The planet being named "pulchra" is Latin for "pretty or beautiful" and the name of the disease being "lupis mortem" is also Latin, which simply translates to "wolf death". I like the attention to detail.
Pulcra is the spanish word for "orderly and clean" or perhaps "elegant"

@@gavinator.3587 Low Gothic is the in-universe name, but it’s just Latin, probably with new words that fit the setting because I don’t think that Latin has a word for laser.
Also it has a bunch of random languages- the Space Wolves only have everything named “Wolf” because of translation errors.
@@gavinator.3587 They use latin in the setting to represent the dichotomy of english (and other romantic/germanic languages) and the latin of old (which is used in clinical and scientific research thanks to traditions that go back all the way to the fall of Rome, which mirrors the setting of Wh40k, which again in turn reflects actual real world history - cadia vs candia, for example)

It seriously helps when creators put ACTUAL subtitles up for their videos. Especially with all the vox effects, it makes it far simpler to understand anything you missed so you can move on. Not to mention the fact that more people can properly enjoy the video if they need subtitles for one reason or another. Don't ever think it is unappreciated.
