- Karen Read's attorney cross-examined Brian Higgins on Friday afternoon after he testified about steamy text messages between him and the defendant. Tensions began to get heated between Higgins and defense attorney Alan Jackson, who became argumentative towards the witness, saying, "You don’t seem like you want to answer my questions," and, "This isn’t a difficult question."

She’s tied to these people..her brother represented Colin’s dad in a hit run with fatality. It’s crazy. She sought out the case and refused to recuse once these relationships were exposed.
She needs to be investigated and lose her right to continue ad a judge if she is breaking the law by doing this.

He was enraged about Karen's rejectioning his advances . Seeing her and John at the Waterfall made him furious . With alcohol and whiskey he couldn't control his rage when John showed up at the Albert's home. He got into an argument with John and him and Colin beat the life out of John. And put out on the lawn after everyone had left..
Lies. He actually rejected Karen's advances, including when she went to his home to bed him. He said explicitly that he did not want to be used as a weapon against John
Maybe she was angry she still had a bf when she saw him at the bar. But it still doesn't look like he got ran over. Nothing wrong with being ghosted, happens all the time it's just a numbers game.

Because we’ve read the docs, seen the documented evidence already submitted, watched the pretrial hearings, seen an empty crime scene that later had 47 pieces of red taillight, a size 12 sneaker and a baseball hat after the family friend took over the case. We’ve seen the 2:27am Google search “hos long to die in cold” while her guest was actually dying in the cold on the lawn, seen the bites and scratches on the victims right arm…

Her body language is suspicious and there is too much left in the trial to determine her innocence. Thankfully most of the people judging this blindly on here aren't jurors.

Nobody really listen what happened. He was at the police station even though he was not working when Karen’s car got to the Camden police depart. The video of that was missing and later on he received a call from another police officer that they found pieces of her tail lights.
Al this text messages cover the discovery of the attorney. This guy removed Karen’s tail lights pieces and got rid of the video.
And destroyed his phone across the state how shady is that and used the kiosk and had to consult the lawyer in the middle of testimony
I want to know who tipped them off to the letter about NOT destroying their phones
My finger points at Brian Higgins - he even gave a clue when he said he swerved up the drive way
John was not even there at the house when he did that

This part of the cross-examination doesn't seem to be as effective. I don't think these answers make him look guilty. He's resistant, and that reduces his credibility a little bit most of the time. On the other hand, the defense is asking questions in a way that justifies a bit of resistance. The defense attorney is trying to lead him down some kind of path. I can't tell whether he's resisting that path because the path isn't true or because he's trying to cover for something sinister.
I think one scenario is that he and Mr. O'Keefe got into a fight over his texts to Ms. Read. The fight ended with Mr. O'Keefe being dead on the lawn. This exchange doesn't necessarily support that idea. He could just be a guy who was friendly with an attractive woman who was dating another man. His interest or lack of interest in Ms. Read may have nothing to do with Mr. O'Keefe's death.

The judge is very sus and so is this witness. The cops were involved in things and Karen's BF disagreed or wanted out. So they killed him. Now they are trying to frame Karen. The judge should be investigated as well as all the cops.

I think the deceased brought MS.Reed into their group of police officers and police departments,where she learned of corruption or criminal activities. He may have shared too much information with her until he became aware that she is some kind of kook . After his death, Ms.Reed shared with her attorney information about the group of police officers and police departments that is being used to shape her defense. The police appears to have grave concerns maybe not related to the death of John O’keefe. It may not be permissible in this case but I would like to hear testimony of her prior relationships

I’m sure the O’Keefe family wanted to slap Karen when hearing she was pursuing this guy while still with John. He seemed to show a little bit of concern but she was next level blaming Johns kids as a problem rather than a blessing. Thankfully they won’t have to be around her any longer. Or him either.
I think 'Action' Jackson could get a smidge more by thanking the witnesses for answering his question as asked. I would have placated Higgins by telling him it's not illegal to have a crush on someone, even if they're involved with someone else. It's normal. Then ya roast him with questions that shows he would have had a reason to get John out of the picture.
