Another beautiful set of cards. The recipients are sure to enjoy them. The colors are so cheerful!
sashabelle728 Thank you! I really enjoyed using this lovely paper collection. Especially with all the pink! 💕
Kristie, watching you create beautiful cards makes me happy! Thank you! :-D
Karen Thompson Aw, thanks. You are always so kind. 😊
Watching your creativity inspires me and at the same time calms me; it gives me a vision to 'hang my hat on' for future projects. Thanks so much.
lfc2230 Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate the support. 😊
LoL! I love cameras too and typewriters! I was thrilled when the Spellbinders kit came with typewriter die! Wanted to THANK YOU again for all the inspiration you've given me! I can't by any means make as many cards as you do but I've found so much joy in making and sharing most all I make!! I'm so happy you suggested a retirement home to me! That's my second thought(after family) when I get goodies to make cards. God bless!
I love the colors and printed papers in this pad! It's always enjoyable to watch your videos and card designs!
Roxanne Tucker Thank you! I really enjoyed using this paper collection. 😊
wow! in addition to seeing all sorts of cards being made, I learned some new techniques! Thank you so much!!!
Although the cards were simple, they were so beautiful. I always like to have a stash of cards and this is a perfect way to do so.
Sue Alger Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊
Once again thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us. You are such an inspiration!!!
Betty Huffman Thank you for your kindness. I have the sweetest crafty friends. 😊
Thank you for the inspiration and giving me the motivation to get out my 6x6 paper pads.
Heather Schantz I’m so happy I can provide some inspiration for you. Thanks for watching my videos. 😊
Well done Kristie love watching you build these cards....you have a good eye for matching the pattern paper with each other....I wish I had that talent......tfs
Terrie Rodrigue Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. Using 6x6 paper pads for card making is helpful for matching papers. 😊
Just got my hello pad in the mail! I can't wait to make these cards.
Karine White-Braunger Yay! You are going to love using this lovely paper pad. Happy crafting! 🙂
So cute!! I love the little birds you used at the end with that great die! TFS!!
Rene Price aka gabbysews Thank you! I still love using the squared off die from Reverse Confetti. 😊
Your craft is so fantastic! I can always count on gaining some inspiration from your videos.
Gayle Hill Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊
I admire you so much for the amount of care and heart you put into every card. Since they are primarily donated, it would be easy to make simple cards, but yours go way past the extra mile. Every card has several layers, and each layer is matted. This alone will double the time and work required. The addition of brads or dots are just what many designs need to really make them sing. Then you finish each one with a coordinating paper strip inside. I think my favorite part is the small banner pieces you add to so many of the designs. It has become almost your signature . Thank you for showing others what one person can do to bring a smile to someone and brighten their day.
jean massey Thank you! I find joy making cards, so it just seems right to share that joy with others. I really think it’s important to use quality materials and always do my best, no matter who the card recipient may be. I want that person to know they are appreciated and worth the extra time and expense. I used to volunteer for a nonprofit organization that collected donated cards. Quite often the card donors made poor quality cards that were already falling apart. It was very sad.
I just love that little banner die. It’s part of a retired set from Project Life made by American Crafts. The banner is the only die I use. I also used a banner die from MFT for this set of cards. 😊 I hope you have a beautiful day!
Is the first time watching your videos and I love it. What I like is you have a goal and you do it with out talking and talking and talking.
I like your work simple, clean and beautiful, that’s it. Good job 👍🏼 and I subscribed ☺️.
Glenda Ayala Thank you for subscribing and for your kind words. I really appreciate it. 😊
Beautiful colours in this pad, I love all the pink you used as the background colour. The last cards, with the 'tweet hello' stamp, are awesome.
Another great set and so fun to watch! I enjoyed my lunch while I watched half of this the other day :) Keep them coming Kristie!
J Zippel Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and support. 😊
I can not tell you how much joy I get watching your videos! I am ALWAYS amazed at the time it takes you to create just one vid for us! (And then you have to edit them) so the next time you are in the middle of creating one, think of us out here cheering you on because we love them (and you). 🌸
Maureen Hauerwas Aw, thank you so much for your kindness. I have the nicest crafty friends. 😊 I will admit, making these videos is a lot of work. But it’s something I enjoy and it makes me happy knowing I provide inspiration for others.
Highlight of My week is to see a new video 😍 inspire me alot and its fun to watch!😃
Papercraft Moon Thank you! I’m so glad I can provide some inspiration for you. 😊
I would have happily watched the 5 hour video!
It is amazing what you do with a 6 by 6 pad. The leftover scraps aren't not even worth mentioning. Thank you so much for your kindness and also for participating in the cancer challenge where Karla Bostic and Gaynor Boyce joined forces to collect as many cards as possible for cancer related charities.
And thank you for your time and the inspiration you give us.
roden70 Thank you! I really enjoyed using this paper collection. 😊
Cancer is such a terrible disease. If my cards can help, even just a little, then I’m happy to share them.
Love the last two cards 😇💙
Another wonderful video. I love all the cards you made!
Carollee Washington Thank you! 😊
I love your creativity! Theses are beautiful cards
Amy Zou Thank you! 😊
WOW - you loaded your ATG twice & made it look so easy! I struggle with it every single time. Great cards - love the tips woven into your videos.
GandF Chm Thank you! I have probably loaded my ATG at least 1000 times by now, so I definitely have it down. When I first bought it, I always had to look at the directions to help me load it. 🙂
Christmas cards are my favourite to make, but bright, cheerful cards like these are my second favourite!! I absolutely love what you did with this pack!! As always, I am inspired!! Thank you!!
Thank you as always for your gift to us ♡ I absolutely adore the pale yellow paper with the flowers on it -- that one makes my heart sing!! Hope you're having a great day!
Tracy Tracy I really appreciate your kindness. I really loved the yellow floral paper as well. There are so many lovely paper designs in this paper pad. 😊
Watching your videos provides so much inspiration for my crafting projects. I really enjoy seeing how you match patterns together with the use of solids. Thanks.
Linda S. Thank you! I’m so happy I can provide some inspiration for you. 😊
Kristie, thank you so much for sharing this - I love your cards! I can clearly see the thought, planning and care you take and it really shows. I've just started getting into crafting and will try and make some cards myself. Your instruction and ideas have inspired me. Thank you again, it's so very kind of you to take the time - Ren
Ren S Thank you! I really appreciate your kindness. Welcome to the world of paper crafting. Be careful, it’s addictive. 😊 I hope you have a wonderful day!
Such pretty colors! Greatjob...again!
renee kee Thank you! It’s a super fun paper collection. 😊

Lynn's Launderette Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and support. 😊 I’ve had numerous requests to do a craft room tour video and plan on doing one this summer. I share the room with my 8-year old daughter and I’m sure she’ll want to help out with the tour. 🙂
Watching you create is soooooo relaxing..... great job
my life Thank you! 😊
Another terrific video, Kristie. Thanks for showing how you used the gold washi tape to give it more sturdiness to use on your cards. Adds a lovely shine. So many lovely cards! Thanks for sharing your time and talents. You and your work are very inspirational. :)
Jeanne Tomshack Thank you! I loved the gold foil accents in the paper pad, but decided to add just a bit more with some gold washi tape. You can’t have too much pretty gold shimmer, right? 😊
I bought an ATG yesterday. I'm tired of putting out all that money for those little glue runners with 40 feet of tape on them when the ATG has a whopping 106 feet, or 36 YARDS of tape on it. The refills are really inexpensive too. So glad I watched your videos.
Janet Sexton I just love my ATG and can’t imagine crafting without it. I buy my refills by the case from The Tape Jungle. Very inexpensive! 🙂
I just bought this paper pad and am so happy to see that you've done this set to encourage ideas. As usual you produced a fantastic assortment of cheerful cards. I picked up on that tip of sticking the washi tape to cardstock so you then could punch out the circles to add to the card... love the idea. The use of the extra paper strips to the inside is great - it ties the front to the inside. I always learn from you. Thanks for the tutorial and your time.
Beth Hansen Thank you! I’m always grateful for your kindness and support. I hope you enjoy using this paper collection as much as I did. It’s just lovely. I didn’t have any gold cardstock that matched the gold foil on the papers. But I did have a roll of gold washi tape, so I made it work. It’s always nice to be able to use up something from my stash. 😊
So fun watching you put these together.
Scrapbena Creations Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊
You are so inspiring! I love your use of the paper pads and backing with coordinating stock. TFS
Margaret Schmidt Thank you! I have always been a fan of using coordinating cardstock with paper pads. 😊
@KristieMarcotte :
Cool set. Awesome job as usual. You make my day whenever you post a new 6x6.
Hewy Dewy Lewy Aw, thanks. You are always so sweet! 😊 I’m right in the middle of recording another 6x6 video, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long for the next video.
Awe, love your cards, and love watching you make them! You have a wonderful day also!
Sue Budzinski Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and support. 😊
I'm in awe! You are amazing!

Do you ever kill a 12x12 paper pad? I know the patterns are so much bigger and was wondering if you think it's doable. Thank you for showing us once again what is possible. You always amaze me.
Deborah Wildman Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊 I rarely use 12x12 paper for cards. The same process would still work, but it would be tricky with the larger patterns. You could definitely make A LOT of cards using a 12x12 paper pad. I think I would get tired of the paper. A 24-sheet 6x6 paper pad is the perfect size for me. 🙂
Love all the pink☺️! Such fun papers, great sketches and your magic touch! And, did I see a new glue tube?
I also wondered about the fine tip glue tube. That would certainly come in handy. Kristie, what is it called or where can it be obtained?
Val's Faves Thank you! I loved all the pink as well. 💕 You did see a new glue. I thought I’d try the glue tube from Lawn Fawn. I like the smaller size and fine tip. Plus it seems to adhere paper nicely. 🙂
GandF Chm Hello. The glue is by Lawn Fawn. I bought it directly from their website. But I’m sure other online stores carry it as well.🙂
So glad I found your channel!! Do you happen to have a video using a school 6x6 pack?? I have so many cards to make for my nephew and child. I have ideas, but you and I are about the same with techniques and it would just be nice to see what all u can come up with. Thanks for showing your cards. God bless!!
amy29048 Welcome and thanks for watching my video. 😊 I actually did a school 6x6 last month since I made Teacher and Staff Appreciation cards for my daughter’s school. Here’s the link, ua-cam.com/video/nJE0yK9_nXU/v-deo.html
I hope it provides some inspiration for you. 🙂
Enjoyed your video very much, as always---thank you so much for taking the time, Kristie! Question: It appears that you get good use from the brad hole-poking/separator tool. Correct? I have a massive stash of brads & have been contemplating this tool. Thanks, & have a great day. :o)
Cards Classic or Cute Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and support. 😊 I’ve owned the We R Memory Keepers brad setter/paper piercer for many, many years. I’ve definitely used it A LOT. It’s super useful.
Fabulosity!! I've been waiting for your to make a video using this paper pad. I've purchased two packs of this paper; I just love it that much. Gotta ask you though.....do you go to a store that stocks Doodlebug or do your order on line? I'm asking because your paper always match so perfectly and I just bought a ton of different colors (5 each of 17 different colors) and I'm STILL missing some apparently. Thanks for any insight that you can give me. Be well -
Karen Gerek This paper collection is so fun! I bought 2 paper pads as well. I love the gold foil accents. 💕 I order most of my craft supplies online, except for cardstock. If I don’t already have coordinating cardstock, I take the paper pad to the store so I can be sure it actually matches. I usually buy my 12x12 cardstock from Joann’s when it’s on sale. The value packs, like the blue I used for my matted layers, I buy from Michaels. I don’t always find exact matches, so I just work with what I have. 🙂
Kristie Marcotte Thanks for explaining this as I was curious too. I think ut would be fun to do a set where we can craft with you and you tell us the supplies to get and we make a set with you. tfs as always
I love this collection as well. Were you saying the smaller cut a parts were more challenging to use on the cards?
Ella Conner Doodlebug always makes such fun paper collections. 🙂 The cut aparts used to be larger. 2” x 2” and 2” x 3”. Now the cut aparts are all 1 1/2” x 2”, really small. I just prefer the larger sizes.
Kristie Marcotte I agree yes with you on that. Anxiously awaiting ur next video😉
Ella Conner I’m in the editing stage so hopefully I’ll get the next video posted next week. 🙂
Kristie Marcotte I appreciate all the time you take to do your videos! They are such an inspiration 💖
Do you always have the same quantity of coordinating sheets of cardstock you use? How many would you recommend?
Missy Kern Hello. I do not always have the same amount of cardstock when starting a 6x6 paper pad. I like to have at least 15 - 20 sheets for the matted layers. I also use a variety of colors for the backgrounds and try to have 6 - 8 sheets in several coordinating colors. This doesn’t always happen though if I don’t have enough paper on hand. 🙂
Where can I purchase the die that has all the the little squares ? Thanks.
Lee Ellen Chinn I always purchase Reverse Confetti products directly from their website. The squared off cover panel die is so fun to use. 😊
very very cute
allison kulka Thank you! 😊
G’day, Kristie! I have been looking forward for your next video for the past couple of weeks! 😁😁😁 I would like to know where did you get the tiny clear block for the cling stamps?
Ness1279 Hello! I’m trying to do a video at least every two weeks, but it doesn’t always happen. I’m actually in the middle of recording another video right now. 😊 The tiny clear block is from Close to My Heart. I bought it many, many years ago so I’m not sure if they still carry that size.
Kristie Marcotte, thanks for your reply. That was what I thought and I understand that you would be busy with your daily life with your family. I am always looking forward to watch your new video. I have you on top notification list and I get a notification with your new video release. 🙂 When I get it, I get so fricking excited and drop of what I am doing, only when my son is at school, to watch your video. I am always in awe of how you create these AMAZING cards you put together! With an Aussie style of love and hugs from Vanessa, the Australian lady. ❤️🇦🇺
Ness1279 You are so sweet. I really appreciate your kindness. I have the best crafty friends. 😊 I would love to visit Australia some day.
Kristie Marcotte, that would be great that you would love to come to Australia one day. I live in Perth, Western Australia. 🙂
Hi Kristie, Just wondering if these are your own personal sketches or do you find them online?
amnell5 Hello. I do not design card sketches. I only figure out the measurements. I find all of the sketches online. Mojo Monday, Sketch Saturday and Operation Write Home are a few. I have a list of card sketch sites on my blog. 🙂
