My fiancee plays on the console and 1st thing we got her was a kb, the ps4 inbuilt was terrible. She praises the new one on ps5 so much.
It can be a pain to type on controller... after 8 yrs... I got fairly quick with it. But sometimes I just want to emote away as well...

Three players RPing characters who are not RPing while RP walking away from who they are asserting is an RPer is a level of meta I wasn't ready for.
@@donovangrant424 obviously, they are roleplaying as normal adventurers or player characters in an isekai thinking the lalafel is a roleplayer
in the isekai world.
The most unbelievable part of this is actually getting a house.
Since the setting is prior to HW it was fairly easy to get a house since there wasn't too many players in low pop servers and they didn't add the timer or the limit restrictions per account. That's how some players managed to buy out entire wards with just a few alts.
This is set during Pre-Heavensward launch. Was easy as fuck to get a house back then.
@@shaniatreyu9303 some of them are even still there too within a fc, i saw a couple that had (Shade) in lamia (though this could be actual members of the fc as they are still there)

Houses were easy to get in ARR[A Realm reborn] which is the time period that part is set in.
ぼっちでやってる者です。何ヶ月も前の話ですが、最初はダンジョンとか他人と行くのが怖くてずっと1人でやってましたが、ライアンスレイド？でどうしても1人では行けなくて、悩んで辞めようとしてた時にこの動画に出会い、勇気を貰い、初めて行ってきました。何回も床を舐めてしまいましたが、クリア後、PTの人からおめでとうや色々なエモート、MIPまでいただけました。今は色々なルレにも参加できるようになってレベリングも早くなり、初クリアの人におめでとうと言えるようになりました。
大好きな14を続ける事が出来てるのも、この動画に出会えたからです。本当に感謝しかありません、ありがとうございます。
またこんな自分でも居場所がある14を作ってくれている開発関係の方、14に参加されてるヒカセンの皆さん、この場を借りて改めて、ありがとうございます。

As somone who is still waiting after 3 years for his best friend to return to the game, it hurts on a level that is far beyond describable.
She was waiting for her just inside of fc house bc that's the last place she logged off. Nice touch. Everything is very well considered and too detailed. She is finding her in uldah but she only knows the general area from the friend list but will not find her precise location. ; _ ; A masterpiece indeed.
I believe this was also a subtle reference to the futurama episode "Jurassic Bark"
@@DBLchzBGR Jurassic Bark was itself a reference to a real life dog in Japan, Hachiko. So... probably actually just a Hachiko reference.

don't forget that the movie is in Japanese. I don't know how digital keyboard looks like for JP, but if it's alphabetical, then お→か→え→り is one of those you can type easily, if U memorize placement for each sound (few months was enough time to practice ^_^ ), because you don't have to navigate through list of kanji after typing hiragana.
And yeah, I agree...this okaeri was so touching....since bluehairl ala didn't say "matte" trying to stop blackhair lala, I was eagerly anticipating that this time she'll say something for sure! (*_*)!

I totally understand how that black hair'd Lalafell felt when her group progressed w/o her. I had the same experience when my group started progressing w/o me in Min Item Level No Echo ARR raids/trials which got me super depressed and made me want to leave the game. :'(

Please don't give up! I know this feeling too well myself, but i found new friends and even if some of us progress faster than others, we always go back and help them reach their goal too.
@@kittydoescosplay2416 This happened to me with my old FC. I wanted to do things none of them wanted to do, and they only seemed interested in doing content I didn't enjoy. There was a lot of fighting about it, and I ended up leaving after being vilified for the situation. I probably would have quit if my current FC wasn't there for me.
The last time I cried that much for FFXIV content was end of 5.3 (and at that time my parents went to check on me bc I was crying so loudly they got worried).
Not only because sad lalafells is the saddest thing in the whole universe, but also because those situations speak to me on a personal level. And the more I think about it, the more I feel like crying again.
Don't let people you care about feel left out.

This spoke to me so much, because I'm a big solo, none chatty player in MMO's even though I love the social aspect of them. Emotes help with the social anxiety I still feel when interacting online.

Those who aren’t familiar with Japanese, the phrases they exchange at the start of HW don’t translate completely in English. When she says “welcome back” and the other responds “I’m back”, these phrases tend to imply a return to “home.” The phrase ただいま is a greeting one uses upon returning home, while the phrase おかえり, is said as a way to welcome someone home. This makes the exchange a little more emotional when understood in Japanese.

It fit so well. Towards the end of expansions people would always drift away, then come back into the new ones so excited, with rekindled friendships.
I’m sad I won’t be able to participate in Endwalker for a while because of real life. But I hope I can see people when I get back like this :)

As someone who never uses voice chat I felt this film on a personal level and adored every moment both happy and sad. It's amazing to see what people can put together and share to make the world feel a lot more connected.
Why do you never use voice chat if you don't mind me asking?
@@applesass im not op but ppl have tons of different reasons for not using voice - shit mic, not having privacy in their home (like if they share a room with someone), not speaking the language very well, etc
@@pudo5044 Usually people who don't have a mic also just don't type. The lack of communication can get frustrating in a team game
@@applesass Multiple reasons to it. Some people might have terrible wifi, some people play in ccountrie where they ban voice chat apps, some people just have straight up anxiety at the thought of talking with other players. Lack of communication can be frustrating in raid contents, but you have to understand they probably feel more terrible about it than you do. At the end of the day, it's a game. Something people play to escape from the real world for a bit.
