The river path from London to Dartford is much more scenic than the Route 1 section you’ve shown so far. Thats my cycle commute from Dartford to Strood and basically follows the motorway hardshoulder
The mixed mode Brompton/Train travel combo is addictive. I love putting my Brompton on a long distance train and enjoying the location. Keep the videos coming!
That was my first one and now I’m hooked. Have already planned my next one. A two day trip to Suffolk. The rail replacement bus was unexpected but thankfully the Brompton folds so I was able to just get on with my bags and bike.
Nice Video. A flip flop is essential to pack next time. I did my first bike packing (with two other bromptoneers) last April. It was still very cold, but I brought a hot water bag as recommended by other bike packers. It did the trick. Now that the weather is kinder, it is easier to pack light stuff. Good luck on your next trip. Keep uploading. I subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for the flip flop tip. Great idea as they are really light and I can imagine the difference it will make at camp. I had a water bottle on my most recent trip to Northumberland which was an essential bit of equipment and made a huge difference. Even for just sitting outside the tent cooking etc. I then put it in my sleeping bag before I get into bed. Feels great getting into a warm sleeping bag!
GoPro on chest strap works better than your helmet… that’s what I’ve found. I also a ram mount on the handle bar for a second camera. Well done on your first camping trip.
@@Rudyjosephjr that's great wow. I use mine to commute too. It cut my commute by 30 minutes. And when it rains I love being able to just jump on the train
Hiya it has 6 gears! It’s the c line explore. I love it. I got it through a cycle to work scheme but it will paid off next month. Do you have one and if so which one?
@@darinjgraham No, not an owner. Just wondering how reliable they are. I want one, doesn't everyone, but wondering how strong they are. I'm watching lots of owner videos.
I enjoyed watching this. I've been considering getting a Brompton and video like this are edging me closer to that purchase. What color is your Brompton? I can't tell if it's Fire Coral or Sunset Orange. I think Sunset Orange is a newer color and I can't seem to find real world photos of it.
Hi, I’ve got the fire coral - c line explore. Have not seen the sunset orange yet! Are considering it for commuting etc? I was unsure before I got it but I just wanted to try and cut my commute to work. I faced so many problems with trains and delays and having the Brompton has really helped. Then I started touring and adventuring with it because I realised I could just jump on any train or bus without booking and go and find somewhere new to explore. Have never looked back!
Great Job Darin; blesses from Argentina
That looked like a fun ride. Great places.
Was a nice gentle easy peasy one

Oh I wish I went that way then! A well, hopefully next time!
Brilliant I really enjoyed it.
Thank you, glad you liked it
Excellent

Great tour. I've seen that campsite on another touring video and it's on my list of places to go with my Brompton.
I recommend it. It's off-grid and basic but has a drinking water tap which is so handy.
Classy!

Thanks. Just got a neck strap for my camera. Will try it out on the next one
Aww I love this!! ❤
We have an exact same color...I loved Fire Coral.
It's a great colour for a Brompton isn't it. I love it
@@darinjgraham Excatly...I've used mine for work commute 20miles daily.

Your Bromton, how many gears has it? It's a beauty.

Unless u are trying cover long distances and multi days,i would rather use the two man tent for comfort for shorter tour.
That’s a good idea. It was nice to have all that room tbh. I’m researching one man tents atm.
