Once you get used to it you will find it is actually pretty stable - does well in rough water and can penetrate chop and head winds well. You can't stand up in it, and it does not come with all the little storage nooks and crannies of the dedicated fishing yaks, but does it the job and is a fun, fast boat. As someone else mentioned, get the larger, sailing, rudder. But don't do a sharp turn with it at top speed...especially if the seat is at max height.
Great review - do you still have the kayak and how do find it? Can you tell me your height and weight and how you find the stability for touring and when pulling in fish? Do you get used to the tippiness?
It is great kayak, revo is my favorite so far, I still have it. It is less stable than outback 2018. For some reason, Hobie has been making pretty bad outback after 2018 in my opinion. It too heavy, absolutely unnecessary wide. I have videos on this channel when I caught sailfish and big bonitas from revo, it is great kayak for inshore or inshore. The only time when I would prefer outback is very choppy water, strong wind and current. I would never use ProAngler, that is complete waste of money in my opinion.

Thanks for this video. I have a 2016 Outback and a 2016 Pro Angler 14. I much prefer being in the Outback and I'm actually thinking of selling my Pro Angler and getting a Revo 13 as I like to go offshore. The Pro Angler is just too big and Im getting sick of having to trailer it everywhere.

And did you go for the 180 or GT drive and what do you think of it?
@@fishinbite it come with 180 kick off drive, I upgraded it to turbo. It is ok, but I rarely use those features.

Yeah, Pro Angler is too heavy and it is much slower, I agree.

Yes, sold it. It is too fragile, did not work for me.
