@@CSmyth- From this comment you learn how many points sam ends with once seeing the ojama king round, by only caring about the amount of points from one person you miss out on the humor of the video, the actual ending result as their is no indication of sam winning or losing, and any new information about yugioh and the option to guess for yourself, the only round that is “spoiled” is the ojama king round, which lasts about five seconds, stop complaining and think a little

Immediately I recognize that must mean it's a 3-point question even without watching the video and immediately that means I know he only gets 1 question right outside of whatever the Ojama question is. This also means that as soon as he gets a single point, whether that's before or after the Ojama question, I can write off every single question past that as him being wrong. That's the literal definition of a spoiler, dude. If you think you "only" spoiled the single Ojama question, you're the one who needs to think a little.
@@CSmyth- like my main argument is 1 players score does not matter, the enjoyment of the video does not hinge on how many points someone gets, the enjoyment of the video comes from people interacting and talking about the game, as well as the viewer learning or quizzing themselves, the sanctity of the video is not affected by knowing sams score and what he gets right and wrong

It's actually hilarious that they missed the Joey/Marik question because she GAME THEM THE ANSWER while discussing the previous question. Joey didn't have Red-Eyes in his deck during that duel.

10:16 Even if we ignore that duel, it's still technically correct. In a duel vs brainwashed Joey, Yugi's Life Points were the first to hit 0.
Yugi lost to joey when they were chained to the anchor as well so you don't have to count , he used rafpanel to target himself with a spell that would've killed joey so that joey wouldn't get dragged underwater. Joey doesn't play red-eyes because Yugi had it at the time im pretty sure, that's why they had to duel so Joey could reclaim it offscreen. I got all the money related ones wrong and the ghost ogre question wrong but the rest I got correct
“Which of these monsters bridges into this monster using Small World?” could be a recurring segment, like the “what aspect do these three cards share” question. You could call it The Small World Bridge or something.
Atem losing to Pegasus is debatable at best, and more importantly - there's an actual duel with Joey that's shown onscreen that Atem loses, which is the one where the loser will get dragged to the bottom of the marina by an anchor.
It's not even a proper forfeit, life points do hit 0 so it's a proper loss and everything, rather than the forfeits against Kaiba and Rebecca.
Great feet knowledge by Sam, proud of my guy, also pretty sure theres more then 44 fusion heros, just about 50ish.
I cannot fucking believe they both got the Joey vs. Marik question wrong when the answer was literally telegraphed to them in the _previous_ answer. Joey had to beat Yugi in a duel after Battle City to win back his Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Which means _Joey didn't freaking have it during that duel!_

The joey/marik question should have been a gimme based on the previous question. "Yugi lost to joey in an unaired duel for the red eyes". Very clearly he didnt have red eyes in his deck at this point
Yugi lost to Joey at the end of the Series winning the red-eyes dragon back in that even though it was not shown in the show... in the movie Dark Side of Dimension, Joey is shown as having it in a school scene! :D
Rocket arrow express was meta in the sealed showdown series.
He did surrender to Rebecca before Hawkins revealed that had yugi drew he would of won

The answer to the Elemental HERO Fusion question at 5:57 is actually 46. Counted them and checked. So unless they’re counting Neo Bubbleman and Clay Guardian as Real Fusion Monsters (Clay Guardian was never released, and Neo Bubbleman isnt a Fusion, it’s an unplayable effect monster) then the 48 makes sense. Other then that, the real answer is 46!
Sam put $500 so that's in CAN not Euro which would be 350 euro, so he actually won the last round. Got to give him the W after all the Ls he takes on his own channel

Perhaps, but we only see Joey use his Red Eyes in filler arcs which are non-canon. You can say Yugi did lose 5 times because he did lose to Joey when Joey was under Marik's mind control.
You don't know if Yugi lost, he could've won and gave Joey Red eyes back anyway, there is no on screen proof he lost in the original series.

one of the only other times i remember Yugi losing was when Kaiba beat him in the dark side of dimensions movie when yugi played those crappy magician girl cards and Kaiba used chaos Max Blue eyes before diva turned into that giant monster thing so that was a 6th loss too

That Ojama guess was absolutely insane
I would actually agree that the Yugi/Joey duel doesn't count, as it never actually was shown. I could argue that Yugi lost duels after Yami passed on and we just don't see it in the show and there's about as much basis as him losing to Joey. My answer would have been 4 because of that.

tbf It's difficult for non-Europeans to know prices. Like with Pharoh Rares how Ultras in North America are expensive but in Europe they're cheaper than the secrets and vice versa. And that is only one example.

@@johnnickfanaccount3492 also the copyright is wrong for that printing of the card, and that printing should say "during either player's turn", not "quick effect"... so either the card text and copyright are also wrong, or the set is wrong. So they were, in fact, both correct?
The Pharoah/little yugi, technically lost 9 duels if you count the hologram duels where kiba in dsod and playmaker beat the Pharoah (playmaker beat 3 yugi holograms at a time) just an interesting fact for you, loved the video tho

If we count being possessed, there are 6. Technically seven given the possibility of loosing against jaden.
While the ending of that duel isn't shown, the implication from Jaden's monologue was that he lost but had rediscovered his sense of enjoyment.
And to Adam, yea, he did lose to Rebecca. He put his hand on his deck, signifying his surrender. That's a loss

I only got two right, the attack one and the Red-Eyes one. Also, while yes, Yugi did lose five times, we can't say definitively that he lost that off-screen duel to Joey. Yes, Joey uses Red-Eyes again, but only during non-canon filler. The fifth loss was against Joey but it was when he was mind-controlled by Marik during season 2.
But if we're not counting filler, then Rebecca and Raphael don't count either.

I think Yami Yugi losing to Yugi Mutou at the very end of the series should count as 1 additional loss. You could argue at that point he's Pharaoh Atem but cmon it's the same character. I also think the Joey duel shouldn't count because Joey could've lost and Yugi still give him his Red Eyes anyways. Come up with sone bs like "red eyes is calling for you the whole duel, you're the rightful owner of this card". Yeah this theory is shaky, but it's only as shaky as Joey's chances to win a duel against Yugi
You can still think of something like Yugi intentionally lost to Joey (in a believable way so that Joey didn't feel salty about it) if you can't convince yourself that Joey could have any chance winning against Yugi though...

The Pegasus duel was incomplete, so it's not a loss, and the Joey duel never happened or had a confirmation of the ending. It's speculated that Joey just earned it back by showing how much has grown as a duelist, not necessarily winning the duel.
The Pegasus duel was the first situation of time rules in yugioh.
Just like in real life, time rules stole the game.

For someone who claims that he love GX so much, getting that hero question wrong was embarrassing...
Funny enough i got the Q right for the amount of times yugi lost but joey's win for me was during battle city where yugi lets meteor hit him for lethal.
i thought so too and looked it up, despite Yugi technically losing and having no life points left, the effect of that Meteor of Destruction made/allowed him have to choose an opponents monster that has to attack him, which Joey used to to get himself to 0 life points too, which made the duel end in a Draw instead of a lose to Yugi.
