Hey James I have a small suggestion for you! Could you please make your videos compatible to full screen viewing? Watching in the regular aspect ratio has black bars on the left and right, zoom to fill looks beautiful... Your camera angle is fine 95% of the times, just the text that you use for the features n stuff like at 0:53 get cut out... Could you maybe shoot a little wider or fit the text within the full screen ratio? That would be great!! :)
The real issue is that the air intake is also under your shirt. If you wore that at belly button to waist height, and somehow had an air intake outside the shirt, it would absolutely balloon out your shirt with the amount of air flow.
I’ve looked into a bunch of these and they’re ALL designed to primarily wear on the lower back. That keeps the unit out of the way and safe and cools your back that is usually getting most of the direct sunlight. They include a neck lanyard of you want to wear it in the front. And they all have clips to hold your shirt tail so it doesn’t cover the intake. Seems like you didn’t do enough research before posting this review. Maybe try it the recommended way and post another review?
I like the idea of circulating air under your shirt to capitalize on cooling sweaty skin but it needs better execution. Maybe if it was more like a neck fan that reaches into your shirt it would work better and look less questionable.
I assume it uses Peltier units which have a hot side and a cold side. They are inefficient as a rule and produce a lot more heat than they do cooling. So where does the heat go??
I was hoping for better results. Seems like an interesting gadget, but the cons of the phase change material not having staying power and the awkward bulge under your shirt, doesn't seem like it is worth it. I bet it would work better with looser fitting clothes though.
