    I wanted to show you my new toy, the Breville Sous Chef 16 Peel & Dice food processor. It did a great job making this big batch of home fries and saved a lot of time. I will talk more about this machine in future videos when I have my voice back. It was only as hard to clean as a juicer. I can see how this thing is going to make big batch pico super easy...

      Do you have the original sous chef? I do, and good luck finding the kit for sale. I’ve been looking and waiting for over a year. Never once seen it in stock anywhere. I even signed up for Brevilles notify me when in stock alert thingy. Nada from them. I’ve just about given up on ever finding it.
      *havent googled it since late November. Let me go see if it’s finally in stock somewhere
      Edit:
      Holy smokes the compatibility and dicing kit are both in stock! Only $330 for both, that seems awfully expensive lol. Nice of them to not send me the email notification about it being in stock.

      PlantTheSeed I have the original version, which doesn’t peel or chop. It’s a life changer. I made Mac and cheese and had to grate 6lbs of cheese. It took me 10x as long to cut open the packages and cut the cheese in half than it took my Breville to perfectly shred it. It took like 20 seconds once it was prepped.
      Imaging hand grating 6lb of cheese? Oh the horror and the hand cramps! #1stworldproblems

      @Bigheadedwon 5 років тому

      sn232 hell, can you even find the damn kit for sale? I have the sous chef 16 and since they announced this model I’ve been DYING to buy the kit.
      I’ve literally been looking and waiting for over a year now.
      Breville sucks big time here. Funny how I can buy the $499 model but I can’t buy the kit for mine. And it’s funny how the sous chef is 399 and the dice and peel one is 100 more. But the kit is 200! Well apparently since I’ve never actually seen it for sale. And thanks to you I now see it’s 199+130. Jesus lol... I don’t wanna but I might end up just buying the 499 model. I’m assuming it comes with all the blades. Did I mention I hate Breville?

    • @sn232
      @sn232 4 роки тому

      @@Bigheadedwon I called the company and asked if they had any sales, the girl said that they never had sales that she knew of. I asked why we needed to have a new bowl and lid vs just the center post and blades, they did say that the bowl and lid is a stronger material for the purpose of the slicing/dicing/potato peeling features. Pricey, but it does a great job with slicing and mincing things evenly, just not sure about the dicing yet, although Dillon's videos make it look spectacular!
