Great demonstration! I have the Breville Sous Chef 16-cup processor being delivered today; however, I’m being sold on the Peel & Dice model instead. So I’ll return the 16-cup model and purchase the Peel & Dice. Bed, Bath & Beyond and Breville are out of stock at the moment. Rats!
Nice video! However, at 5:10 you can see that you left the safety cover on the dicing disc. The instructions printed on that cover says to remove it before use.
Thank you for this! Have had mine a year or so, couldn't remember how to set up the dicer. Or the peeler. And, as others have indicated, the directions are lacking. Bookmarked this for future reference!
I got the small Yukon Gold at Costco in a bag they were little maybe an inch and a half around or something to inches a were very small probably more like an inch and a half and I put in like 30 of them they were little and I am and tell you that thing peeled them all beautiful just beautiful beautifully

Thanks, that was very helpful! I have a question, I'm trying to avoid buying the whole dicing kit and buy just 12 mm dicing Grade separately. Do you think I could use the adjustable slicing disk from the original kit? And will I need a different spindle for the dicing grade? Thank you so much!
The spindle for the dicing disk is different than the spindle used for the other blades/discs. Don't know about the slicing disk--to be safe, I'd get the kit

@malittlej ...Correct & yet there are demos showing when the sweet potato has been microwaved for 2 mins or so, it will go through the dicing blade nicely.@@malittlej

You forgot to remove the black plastic blade protective cover from the slicing disc.
I agree. It’s amazing that the processor was able to shred at all or did he realise his mistake and remove the plastic guard off camera.

No, the instructions state don't use for sweet potato, which is too hard and fiberous.
