Right 😂 or the very early glitch where sims would end up with makeup if they sat at a table they set. Even the child sims! XD I’m not sure if that’s still a glitch because I haven’t used the set the table interaction since that kept happening to me 😂
@@onlyabidoang No, I had the Sim set the table, then I made the "call to eat" but when they took a plate and sat down at the table, the tablecloth was removed
Oh wow! I feel so stupid now. I've always hated how my sims will have the dining table right there In front of them it's perfectly accessible nothing's blocking the way and yet they will stand at the counter and eat or go all the way into the living room or the garden to eat.
Remember the sims 2 where the sim will actually serve the coreevt number of plates to the table for the fam to eat? How do the sim aspects get worse over time??
It sucks to see these little details in ts4 that would be so cool for people simulating a cute family if the ai wasn't bad and the gameplay wasn't so hollow, so it still just feels like meaningless fluff.
Too bad this never works and I'm so close to giving up the idea of a dining room period. They never eat at the table, even when it's set or someone is already sitting there. They've eaten everywhere at this point besides the damn bathroom, I'm still waiting for that to happen in my game😂😂😂

true this works but it doesn't stop sims from getting up halfway through the meal for no reason! We can't win with this T-T
Can confirm, right after I recorded this one of the sim in the video stood up for no reason and sat down again 🥲

My adult sim who’s almost an elder still automatically wants to set the table if it’s not done because of her “top notch toddler” trait.
It works until they randomly stand up literally one second later...

My plates disappear when I "call to eat" on the table with the plates... so I never used it
If you mean that they disappear after eating there once, it’s intentional. They can only be used once

Fun fact, child & teen sims that keep their high manners & responsibilities traits, they'll set the table autonomously.
yeah nice but often a sim already takes out a quick meal while my mom sim is cooking and ruins it :D
