I love my NV same color as yours. Mine is a 2018 I bought Jan of 2019. I love the strength and power of the V8. It is solid... the rear doors are more utilitarian. The seats are great that they come out but damn they are heavy!!! With 4 kids the seats are awesome for travel. The infotainment system is useful but I wish it was a bit more modern and feature rich. That is the only draw back of the NV.
Snow update. It rained all day then over night dumped well over 12 inches of snow in my area. Drove 20 miles this morning in the worst of it and I drove 20 miles in slush in the afternoon. It handle better than I expected. Got stuck on 2 hills but that was it. Wouldn't recommend for someone that has never driven in the snow but for the experienced RWD driver its not much different from most vans or trucks.
Just got the SL 3500 cargo van for my job and I love it. It was frustrating trying to get a v8 because all they seem to make now is the 6, which is so weak for a loaded truck doing carpentry work. It's a shame they are caving to all this government pressure and getting rid of the v8 and the NV this year.
It is a shame. I'm glad you went with the V8. That 6 is really no good at least not for hauling heavy. There is always the Armada. It runs the same engine, comes with 4x4, has a third row and tows almost exactly the same. Less cargo space and capability and a smaller wheel base but other than that it seems like a beast.
I think the specs say something like 84 inches. But mine measures just an inch or so more than that when empty with all the seats installed. I do have a standard garage. And I attempted to put it in there but its way to close for my comfort so I just park it in the driveway. So I guess the short answer would be no it doesn't fit through my garage door. If it did fit through the door I think it would be a tight fit anyway because of the length. Some solutions that I had come up with were either airbag suspension with onboard adjustment, or making the doorway taller by like 3-5 inches. Both are pretty expensive so I won't be doing either at the moment. Someone suggested partially deflating the tires. I'm sure that would work but it isn't practical unless it were for a longterm storage. I also had a hard time finding an automatic carwash that it would fit in because most have a 7ft clearance.

There isn't good airflow😅. We just use the rear AC even if we have the front windows down. Unless its under 65 degrees F. For that scenario we would open the drivers side rear window. That's something they should work on in the future. Maybe electric windows on the barn doors or more pop out windows on the sides or a combination of the 2 would make the airflow back there way better.
I do it all the time. Lots of times I just take out the passenger side and leave the drivers side seats in. That way I could and have put a twelve foot extension ladder inside and six kids behind me. My wife has taken out the single seats but the doubles are too heavy.
Not at all, carcomplaints.com only reports one transmission problem in this model and its from a 2013 for loss of transmission fluid. So I'm not expecting to see any transmission issues anytime soon.
