Is that just words influence from jawa betawi but in the whole indonesia area our not using that word because not formal to me and another people in indonesia
It's similar with how in English you could add "as f**k, tho, like hell, etc" What the hell is happening? = Apa yang tengah terjadi sih? The water is quite clear tho = Airnya lumayan bening sih.. Dong is similar with please.. would you just speak English please! Tolong ngomong bahasa Inggris aja dong..
i think: menurut saya - opinion, according to me saya pikir - analyzed something saya rasa - feelings/taste saya kira - estimate or guess, something you thought but wasnt correct i think so: sepertinya begitu / kayaknya gitu (it seems/looks like it) - not sure mungkin - maybe (not sure) kemungkinan besar begitu - more likely like that saya rasa "iya" - i think (feelings) its a "yes"
When you talk to native Indonesian speaker or hear them talk, then you barley hear they say “saya pikir”, they will say “saya rasa” or “Menurut saya” instead. They will say “saya pikir” when they need time to think MANY times before deciding about something. For personal OPINION Indonesian will say “according to me” or “what I feel / sense is ..” it doesn’t mean Indonesians don’t use their brains, it just means they use “feeling” MORE to deliver their opinions.

"kira" is mostly used when your guess is proven wrong. "saya kira dia akan datang besok. *ternyata tidak.*" the more correct translation would be: "sepertinya dia akan datang besok." (formal) "kayaknya dia akan datang besok." (informal)
@@rizkyadiyanto7922 thank you but at 3:35, the teacher gave us another way to use kira. And I was asking if, in the same context (I think but maybe it is not true), I can use it also when talking about a future action. So, now I don't know which of you I must believe...
@@avrity7732notice how when she translates "saya kira" in english its always "i thought", and not "i think", and that it turns out to be wrong/something else. "saya kira" always have such assumption, even when you never say the "ternyata tidak" part. usually you can observe it from the tone, either dissappointed or shocked. or you can also say: "menurut perkiraan saya dia akan datang besok." if you based your assumption/guess from a thorought thinking process/logical analytics, instead of just feeling or light thinking.
It's amazing seeing how my native language is being taught to foreigners 😁

Loh, dong, sih, they are kind of additional word in informal communication, example 'Jangan gitu dong!' , 'iya juga sih..' , dll
I think it's difficult to describe those "loh, dong, sih, deh, kan, kok, nih, lah" because has no equivalent in English or other languages.
