    Wow! That is an AWESOME amount of honey! I just inspected my hives yesterday... 2 are almost completely full. Time to take those supers off and give them another set... We are just ready to open Goldenrod flowers here! Thanks for sharing!

    I find that giving people honey is a big upper. When you’ve done something for somebody else that is unique and special, it makes one feel like they have a reason to live.

    My hives sit along side 1 section of Canola and wow they are bringing it into the hive now full speed I need more hives there also plus some clover is 100 feet away

    Your bee management and location are amazing. I am thrilled if I get 100 pounds from 1 hive. It seems you easily get way over 300 pounds per hive. Yep, the money will literally flow into the barrels.

      Remember too that he's sitting on top of fields of bloom. But yep, his management is definitely the key factor.

      You will notice all the work we did with the hives through spring, like setting a slingshot

      @@aCanadianBeekeepersBlog Yep and you have influenced me in many ways. in the past, I didn't feed as much. Once the bees could get pollen and nectar I stopped feeding. Now, I continue to feed pollen patties. I have noticed a difference.

    What brand of bee suit are the beekeepers wearing? I was thinking maybe Guardian or Ultra Breeze but I could be wrong. Trying to figure out what the best ventilated suit is in terms of protection. Any guidance is appreciated.

    What pest controls do u used?
    How many kinds of pesticides you used per season and do you alternate them?

    Can you comment on the beneficial impact of the bees on your canola harvest? I.e. how much bigger is your canola harvest with your bees than it would be e without them?

    Have you u tried putting a nuke next to each window with a pheromone strip to catch them bees then transfer to a hive outside at the start of each day.

    I know bees love corn also but do they get nector from them or just pollen?

      Just the pollen. Corn doesn't produce nector. So there is no such thing as corn Honey. But corn pollen is often used with available nector stores to create bee bread and feed brood with it.

    Are you can show (make) a video of how you completely wash the honey processing shop. In the last seconds, the wife washes, but you can share a video. What kind of chemistry do you use when washing equipment. How do you preserve the equipment?

    Yesterday I brought the two hives from the farm... Took alot of effort missed the celebration of breaking fast of ramadan with family...reached home with great enthusiasm..but to my surprise my father rebuked me and said resell them to someone... could not sleep ... In the morning called my uncle with the request to kindly take them...now I m a bit relieved...here is my story.

    Great video, I find it insane how much honey your bees produced from canola. Quick question. How much does honey production get affected if the bees have to build the comb new from scratch? With my bees in Kansas, they build new comb about 2 deep frames a week. I am only a 2nd year bee keeper so i don't have a lot of comb saved up.

      Open comb allows huge amounts to be stored away quickly, without plugging out the brood nest

    Anybody knows how many beehives can i put per hectar of canola? how much improves the production polinizating with bees or the average production of honey or polen a beekeeper has?     I can't follow how you go from uncapping to full frame extraction. Do you rip all the comb off the frames or do you uncap and spin the frames?

    Is that window the bees gather at - operable? or are they doomed? Don't know why I care, but I do. No doubt, replacing the window with an operable window would not be cost effective. Stupid idea. But still....

      In your honey hut where you are gathering your supers full of honey. The stragglers that rode the supers in to the hut - when they finally figure out they shouldn't be there. They leave the supers and go to the window (going to the light). Can you open the window for them so they can return to their hives? Or would that just invite a whole slew of additional bees to come in and try to rob the honey back?

      (I figured out that opening the window - assuming it was an operable window and could be opened without a rock - would just be a bad idea!)

      I open the window and sweep them down. The window hinges in from the bottom. Or I take the bucket and sweep to dump them in front of nucs that I pick for boost

    What do you do with all of your wet extracted supers from the last pull of the year? Me personally I just leave them out a few days but you have way way more than me :)
