Appreciate the video. I have tie 4 gallon battery sprayer and love it but I could use a second one so I don’t have to mix different solutions in the same sprayer
Just mixed some product and it stopped pumping. Fully charged and had for 13 months and never missed a beat. The green light turns on but pump not turning on. Any idea? Bought on Amazon but cant find a way to reach fieldking.
@@DIYReid Took the 4 screws put and pulled handle apart and found the negative wire was disconnected. Resottered it and played hell getting it back together but is now working fine. Happy I fixed but considering the handle doesn't get any kind of abuse that is a quality issue on their end. Wish I could contact them to bring to their QC department. Something minor like this could result into negative reviews on their end. I live this sprayer so far.
You can screw that battery handle onto any standard pump sprayer. So you can just buy the battery and put it onto your existing sprayer. I've already tried it on multiple sprayers
Does anyone know how to contact Field King for replacement parts for this 190571 battery powered 2 gallon sprayer? Alternatively, does anyone know how to find nozzle replacement parts and replacement seals?
Maybe the handle battery is to keep it drier? Something I learned with the manual pump sprayers is taking some time with light oil and high quality grease, going through the various connectors and putting a touch of grease on them and tightly reattaching and putting a few drops of oil on the pump piston prevents them from seizing up over the winter. I hope your fine looking new sprayer works well for you and is very durable!
@@DIYReid sorry, I meant to say, the battery powered pump unit should not be submerged in water. Most sprayers have a recommenced fill line well below the reach of electric pump.
I have. They are identical. Both made in the USA by the Fountainhead Group. There are 3 differences: 1) the Scott's comes with a single adjustable plastic nozzle while the Field King comes with a few separate brass ones; 2) The Scott's has a 3 year warranty vs. just 1 year for the Field King; 3) The Field King is priced about $5 more. Given that the Scott's comes with triple the warranty for less money, I think it's the better buy.
@@eddiemarano9998 yes, the Roundup variant is also identical, except the nozzle is black compared to the green Scotts nozzle. It also has a 3 year warranty, likewise making it a better buy than the Field King version.
I bet you say the same about a cruise control on a vehicle. "I can't believe people are complaining about using the gas pedal..." do it the easy way man.. let go of your past padawan.

Just a warming it can get a little heavy if you’re carrying it all over your yard. Just depends if a 1 gal is enough or if not then this.

I was able to figure out the problem and fix it.
What was it

Unlocked unit hit the on button of the pump. Wife thought I farted....lol
How is it holding up? Read some negative review about it being a junk and stop working after a few use.
Mine lasted less than a year, less than 10 uses
@@eagler8196 that really sucks
Mine still works.

Within 6 months the battery stoped working and only used it like 6 times
Same here

You’re welcome

should not fill too high and get battery charger wet..
The battery charger isn’t on the unit itself.

Anyone compare this unit with the Scott's one?

The head is the issue with both...it stops working in less than a year
Do you know the psi on it?
No. :(
20 psi per mfg spec
20 psi
Looks like duplicate of the Scotts, which has 2 stars on the Scotts' site mostly charging issues long term.
Before charging release the pressure in the tank through the side valve. Then you can change it as a complete unit and not have to disassemble it.
Want to know what you use for crabgrass?? :)
Nice review. BTW, do you realize how many times you say “actually “ ?
My pump wouldn’t shut off. Junk
I can't believe grown men are complaining about having to pump something.
To be fair I’m still a kid at heart.
@@DIYReid Just a play on words! After spraying 2 acres yesterday, a battery or tow behind sprayer doesn't sound bad.
