The reason i don't use kustom widgets for advanced icon theming anymore is becuase I use nova launcher and on nova if you open an app shortcut it has these nice opening animations and especially when you swipe up to go home from an app thats on a home screen is does this beautifully fluid animation into the shortcut that cant be recreated with a kustom widget

Please make a MUIU 14 one. The last one was a year ago already. The thing with the UI is that the swipe gestures don't work with custom launchers which is a shame. I managed to come up with an ok setup with the global rom which is again, limited compared to the chinese one. Interested to see how you would work around it.

Currently using a nova launcher set up on my galaxy s20 fe (not aosp) and while it's not as smooth as experience as the default, the experience is very close. I actually prefer some of nova's animations and the customisation is what made me switch.
My biggest problem is how long it takes to open recent apps from the homescreen. In OneUI, it's super smooth and opens quick, but in Nova, it's just slightly too long that it's annoying. I may just end up setting a Nova gesture to recent apps. Would be cool if there were a way to make the home button just go to recent apps instead of the search bar.
@@kalebwaguespack3302 good shout! That is an issue I've experienced. As for the home button, I think there should be a shortcut/ gesture for that in settings, but I'm not entirely sure. Is this like a physical home button or do you not use gestures? I use gestures and I've gotten a swipe up on the home screen to go to recent pages (enabled by prime).
@A_Draw No I do use gestures, and it does take me to recent apps. It just takes longer to hold it there before going to recent apps than OneUI. It's very slight, and probably barely noticeable. I was just looking for a smoother alternative. Currently recent apps is set to double tap swipe up.

I was gonna use nova launcher for my pixel 6 pro but one of my friends told me that apparently it hasnt been updated since Android 10 so idk if I should use it anymore

Your home screen setups are amazing . However haven't seen anything for the Z Fold 4? Can we not do it on that device?
Nova Launcher is great I've been using it since I've had Android and that's been for many Years. The only pain in the ass thing is with the Beta APK of Nova Launcher if you don't have a Rooted Android Phone and your running Android 13 or higher then you won't be able to Enable Accessibility Options unless your Phone is Rooted and you have an App called App Ops installed that allows you to Enable Accessibility Options for APK's.
I have an iphone and im so jealous of yalls customization.
Niagara is the absolute best imo. the design is for one handed use, all the features cover every need I've ever had.

Please add a completely free section where widget, wallpapers and icons can be used by just downloading and applying the backup file that would be amazing i dont mind buying icons and widgets but i change my homescreen every couple days so this would get expensive.
Sam do you know of any apps to enable 3 finger screenshots in Lineage OS? Or any custom rom which doesn't have that feature. Maybe a magisk module or something else 😥

dont bother. wasted 900 quid on my s22 ultra. super laggy and the battery rly runs down fast. all of this stuff is payed and you cant do this unless you buy premium.

what is the brand and model of that phone?
Clear KWGT unavailable in the playstore to me. It says that my it is made for an older version of android. In my case it is ver13. Any solutions?
I can't use a majority of the setups in the app because a lot of the stuff used to make the setup is either outdated or not compatible with my device. It'll either say, in the playstore, that this app is not compatible with your device or this app was made for an older version of android. I have a Moto G Stylus 5g 2021 running android 12. I'm like "How old are these icons and kwgts??" Either this app was not made for newer devices or my phone is severely outdated. Please help me understand what is going on here.

Hi, i really like the way palette show the theme, but i think it should include a video to how to set up the theme once u got everything.
Because i found one theme i like into palette but i stuck trying to apply it either it miss information or there some tweaking u have to do like the second one on the video that aren’t said in palette.
If u have time to look into it the theme is called Succubus by Sibes 06, cant find the way to have the succubus and time / date / weather thing , as when i clik on it in palette theme, it direct me to random theme of palette, as i upgraded to premium inside palette, and there were paid elements inside the theme i mentioned « Succubus by Sibes 06 » i would greatly appreciate if u could look into and help me if u have time.

So I did the first setup...... The widgets didn't appear and needed set manually, no big deal, however first time I've tried something like this and the bottom widget does nothing when you press the search icon, any ideas ?

Sorry, maybe it's because you talked so fast, but I can't get even the simple one. I downloaded everything. I rewound & rematched what you did & I managed to get the wallpaper & a few icons. I can get one widget at a time. I can't post a screenshot to UA-cam to show you, so idk what to do. 🤷🏼♂️ Are there better instructions somewhere? Pixel 6pro if that helps.

I got the Palette app. Was thinking about upgrading to get the nice wallpapers. But since you don't feel like being upfront about what the cost would be I don't feel like using it at all. I'm really sorry for being harsh. It's a good app. I like it but I'm tierd of app creators doing this. Why won't you say what the upgrade will cost plain and simple in the app. To even find out what it cost I have to agree to the purchase and give up any right to have any money returned. I don't think it's fair.
