I always find it perplexing when owners or managers delegate representation to a third party who had no prior interaction with the plaintiff; it just doesn't add up to me. In this case, the defendant seemed abandoned, left to fend for herself as if she were thrown to the wolves without any protection. While the plaintiff presumably presented her case diligently, the judge couldn't properly question the defendant due to her complete lack of involvement. At the end, when asked by Doug what the owner/manager would think, she responds, 'He thinks it's wrong and they are not going to agree with it and they're going to be unhappy with it'. This begs the question: Why didn't he attend or send individuals who had interacted with the plaintiff? It's hard to complain when you fail to send the right representatives to defend your business in a favorable light.
He (the owner) didn't want to be on TV, and was confident if he sent his secretary/this woman (who knows nothing about cars, ev en something simple/trivial as knowing that in some cars usually sports cars and minivans and station wagons coincidentally, the battery is under the driver seat etc. so she's there for eye candy/to be pretty smh lol,) she would do the talking for him. Yeah no lol. He thought this was a wise decision, that turned out to be unwise, but yeah. lol.
If the garage changed battery but don't know where it was situated on that car did they really change it? The poor defendant was given false information and hung out there to suffer the consequences.

I bet those back seats broke because of who installed those subs. With the amp mounting right on the back of the seat... and seat belts? on a 06 p.o.s porsche GROW UP. with HOW MANY MILES
But I also agree with Milian that there are some women that know their cars, and can even fix and repair cars etc. But yes ladies having your boyfriend/Husband go to car dealers/mechanics would probably be sound advice in some cases.
The plaintiff is crazy about the gas. Even if it's 25 miles round trip and this car guzzled down an entire gallon for every mile. At 4.59/gallon, it would only cost $114.50. She's just mad about the fuzzy dice.
Sounds as if they did damage her car But, she took too long to seriously address the issue. And when she did address the issue, she asked for gas money too. They should correct the damage but they don’t owe her gas money. And with regard to the “fuzzy dice”, they have sentimental value to her…which is fine and dandy; courts don’t necessarily pay for sentiment although in some cases I suspects that courts do.
Seatbelts have lifetime warranties, why would they not fix it, they can charge it back to the manufacturer. But this woman comes on here and starts out lying...

Red flag 1: they sent the office manager, red flag 2: saying the battery wasn’t under the seat. She tried to say batteries are under the hood, even I know that’s not always true & im a lady 😉
I understand sentimental value, but we can never put a price on that unfortunately. She didn't notice them missing for 2 weeks, someone could have just taken them out of her vehicle As for the gas, it didn't sound like she drove to the shop repeatedly just to have the seat belt fixed. She was going there for different repairs assuming the seat belt would be fixed as well.
She's taken advantage of this place, the seat belt was never broken by this place it was already broken she had to handle push it back in before they went in there to have it fixed, in the back seats being broke it is probably broke before

Thrown under the Porsche, she was.
Should have bought a rav4
And why would she keep taking her car back to a business that kept messing her car up???
It’s where here warranty lies
Why did the Plaintiff keep going back to them?
Because her contract. She explained that
When you start your testimony by lying, you likely lose. The defendant is likely the shop owner's girlfriend.
Dealership tried to charge me 900 bucks to resurface rotters 😂😶 They don't even do that anymore. While on the phone with them, I am online looking at a full new break set for 300. SMH!
I bet those back seats broke because of who installed those subs. With the amp mounting right on the back of the seat... and seat belts? on a 06 p.o.s porsche GROW UP. with HOW MANY MILES
Those dice are so tacky
Fuzzy dice on her mirror are illegal anyhow. It is a driving distraction, hardly ever called out but comes with a fine.
$11 for dice that you can find online for about $2. She mad out like a bandit.
NEVER buy a vehicle from any dealer that stipulates the customer pays 50% of repairs.
Who has fuzzy dice in a Porsche 😂...
Curious but doesnt the paperwork the defendant gets served with outline what they are suing for? $1 of fuzzy dice and $2499 for seat repair?
Ten year old pink dice? Yuck. They needed to be replaced!
Crappy Euro cars. Leave them alone,
The judge is foolish if she doesn't think having a man at the mechanics is more beneficial.
She's such a feminist.
But I also agree with Milian that there are some women that know their cars, and can even fix and repair cars etc. But yes ladies having your boyfriend/Husband go to car dealers/mechanics would probably be sound advice in some cases.
@taralen1101 True they can know but it's still in mechanics nature to screw women over. I think they take some kind of vow for it.
I’m for the plaintiff but suing over 10 year old pink dice, that’s ridiculous. Everything else, they need to make right!
If I read the rule correctly, in California on a multi lane road, you can turn right on red while someone is turning left on green if you turn into the lane closest to the curb. Not 100% sure though.
Ms Dann said the plaintiff never complained about the dice but also, just said that’s all she complained about. Which is it?
Good call judge on the seatbelt!
Those lashes have damaged her brain...

You can clearly tell by the cowardice of the owners that they're Republican 😅
Didn't have the courage to face the situation when faced with what they've done 😅
That office manager was playing in an arena she was not qualified for. Shame they sent her and hid their pitiful faces.
She lost from the time she gave the wrong location for the battery...she's an office Mgr, not a mechanic.
If they remove the seat to get to the battery, they will not touch the seat belt on the side
The liar wins…what a shame! Just because the dealership was not properly represented by a service person the plaintiff gets the verdict…smh
The Defendant Is Just LOUD and WRONG! 😂😂 " The Battery is Under The Hood" Then She Said that's Why she Wanted to Settle Out of Court...As JM said If She Was Listening she would have heard what she said. It would have took a hour for the manager and Ed to show up...but they sent the Receptionist who clearly doesn't know cars 🤦🤦🤦🤦. Do better people 😂😂
So beautiful ❤
To all the people that keep asking “why keep going back?” listen with your ears and not
your eyes 😒
How was the plaintiff able to get Dolemite to testify?
Red flag 1: they sent the office manager, red flag 2: saying the battery wasn’t under the seat. She tried to say batteries are under the hood, even I know that’s not always true & im a lady 😉
Ooh missus manager thinks she knows everything she doesn't know nothing about anything she should not have been their shoes that number could pretty
She should have left the vehicle there so everything was done right.
The case was over when she said the battery was under the hood 😭😭😭
I understand sentimental value, but we can never put a price on that unfortunately. She didn't notice them missing for 2 weeks, someone could have just taken them out of her vehicle
As for the gas, it didn't sound like she drove to the shop repeatedly just to have the seat belt fixed. She was going there for different repairs assuming the seat belt would be fixed as well.
The battery is UNDER THE DRIVER'S SEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's taken advantage of this place, the seat belt was never broken by this place it was already broken she had to handle push it back in before they went in there to have it fixed, in the back seats being broke it is probably broke before
Those fake eyelashes😂😂😂
