Tyler Jones (born 1962) was raised in the music industry. His dad Taylor worked in the recording side and he was introduced to many famous groups as he grew up. He began testing the equipment when he was 9 and developed a great voice by the time he was 16 and began a music career by 1980.
By 1983 he'd gotten a toehold in the R&B genre with the hit "Those Beautiful Green Eyes". He moved to the west coast to continue his career. Trouble began for him in 1985 when rumors began that he was having a gay relationship with guy he shared an apartment with, Rudy Rahen, a amateur bodybuilder and wrestler who was openly Bisexual at the time. This song was written to counter the rumors to which it failed dismally since he titled the single "For My Bro".
Although he has had middling success afterward, two failed marriages and no children still keep the rumors alive along with the autobiography of his roommate saying that they did gay things together.
