      Yeah the explanation I gave you were thought on the moment, with this guide I took my time to structure and ensure a few things. So with that and the video it should be better to understand^^.

    Others already told you how good your guide really is. But me, I highly appreciate the effort you give for making those footage into "cinematic" style video. Others tend to use some random clips of gameplay to making up for the fillers, so it's rare to see this kind of video. Bravo to you, keep up this nice works!!
    *A little opinion from me, maybe next you can give more attention to the font aspects. Sometimes, i see the font style is kinda off. Your video is mainly for serious purpose for giving the guide to others while delivering it with style. So why not stick with it and use the suitable font for that theme~
    Oh one other thing, about the font color. Some words are a bit hard for me to see it (ex: when you used the dark red or blue color font on the black background). Maybe it will be different story if the letter with that color have an outline color like, white maybe? It would make it more friendly for the poor eyes like mine.
    Other than that, it's perfectly well-made. You are doing the god-tier works.

    Don't forget that if you hold space during a Rising Slash it will auto-cast Megi/Zanverse depending on your health. (Uses 1 gear stock, though.)
    Maybe not worth it for a Zanverse during normal rotations, but that Megi has saved my bacon numerous times. 😂
    Also! The auto-cast techs that Luster has access to (Shifta & Deband @ 100 Voltage and "enhanced" Rising Slash Zan/Megiverse) won't activate unless your character learns those techs!
    I made the mistake of not knowing this and had no Deband, Zanverse, or Megiverse my early Luster days because I hadn't played many other classes and hadn't learned those techs yet, haha.

      You're right, but this mechanic isn't really related to Fomel or "gameplay" in general in my opinion (I almost never use it), so I decided not to show it in the video.
      But I talk a bit about it in the description.

    Beautifully edited video. It goes into mechanics that most other guides don't even talk about about. Thank you.
    Edit: Also, when exactly is the photon cluster meant to proc during the base combo?

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for your comment :)
      During the base combo clusters have 2 moments where they can proc :
      -between PA 1 and PA 2
      -between PA 2 and Enhanced PA 1
      But the first option is the easiest I think^^.

    That transition from elder to mitra is damn cool man, good job
    Also how do you spam that stepguard counter?
    Just spam the foward dodge button?

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому +1

      Oh I’m happy you noticed the transition !^^
      Basically yes you just spam the button. But keep in mind that if you’re too fast you’ll do a step slide and if you’re too close to the AOE you’ll miss or go behind the boss after a few counters.
      The key to be able to stay on the AOE is your position when you do the first front step. You can see me backing up a little to adjust my position before geysers spawn on Mitra.

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому +1

      That’s not an easy request because each class have their own way to reach good damage ^^.
      But if you apply things in this guide properly you should have great damage with Luster !
      If you still find you’re lacking damage then consider checking :
      -do you have a good skill tree ?
      -Is my gear equal to others ? (Especially weapons and S ability)
      -Do you have all the classic buff available ? (Alliance tree buff+ Shifta/weak point drink + Shifta as a technique)
      -Is my gameplay fluent or there’s to much downtime in my dps ? (More about boss knowledge and class mastery = long term practice)

    This is great but I'm totally confused about the counters. How do you activate the forward, back counters. I've only known of weapon action for counters

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому

      To perform Front/backward step guard you just need do to a front/backward step through an attack.
      But it only works if you have locked a target, and the corresponding skill in your skill tree (called step guard I think).

    I’m sorry for commenting on a older video but I was curious, Luster dodge damage is the strongest compared to WA dodge, but I’m having minor difficulty with the camera when I use the dodge against boss like Sodam for example whenever I dodge my character would drop to the ground or the camera just go out of control, is their a fix to this situation? I like Luster a lot but not perfecting one of its most crucial damage action is really lackluster for me and my team when I attempt HTPD.

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому +1

      Hey, don’t worry this is a guide it’s here for answering :)
      The front step dodge is indeed your strongest move and you want to use it as much as possible.
      Since it is a step you’ll lose height but once the counter animation happens you stop losing altitude. So the key to avoid dropping is to time you counter (=front step) as tight as possible with enemy attacks. By doing so you will also avoid advancing to much toward the boss with your step.
      If you drop to the ground, it’s probably that you missed the counter or your camera was not locked on the boss (Step Guard only works if the lock is enabled). There’s nothing you can really do about crazy camera aside keeping a good positioning at all times :/.

      Wandeez PSO I see I heard that people usually Scatterslug before countering to either cancel dodge animation or reposition themselves I tried this method with both hallow point and scatterslug but it seems to be just extra damage along with counter?

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому

      @@vsupport4666 yeah actually you’re doing that to optimize dps. I’m talking about it in the last section of this video.
      Basically the goal is to cancel the animation of « one strike PAs » with your step counter so you still get full PA damage but reduce the animation.
      It works with flechette, Scatter and Hollow (all stay version).
      I personally use Scatter a lot to do that since it also make you fall back a little so you never end up too close to the target with successive counters.

    Haii, thanks for helpful guide :).
    I feel like its really hard to time the quick shot after enhanced PA. I have no problem triggering it after using 4 normal attacks though :(
    Edit : nevermind I was doing it wrong XD, summoning the cluster is harder actually

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому

      You're welcome ! :)
      As long as you perform "Enhanced Combos" well, Quick Shoot shouln't be a real problem but the timing to input WA may change a little according to the last PA of the combo.
      Yeah clusters can be tricky at first^^.
      For me the easiest PA to proc clusters is Flechette. So you can cast 2 Flechette quickly between enhanced combos if you struggle to proc them with the base rotation.

  • @Dreifon98
    @Dreifon98 3 роки тому +1

    How do you proc the clusters consistently? Currently having a difficult time getting the timing right > .

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому

      Can't really tell how, it just works after playing Luster a lot^^.
      I don't even care about it anymore now muscle memory doing the job by itself.
      You can train on rockbear and try to do it by chaining normal PAs at first to get the timing and then try to incoporate it in your combos.
      To begin I recomend to proc clusters with flechette since it has the easiest timing in my opinion.

    3:33 ?? Is that you press side step continuely ?

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому +1

      If you're talking about the moment where I perform multiple Front Step Counter, you basically need to input front steps in quick succession.
      But the timing need to be strict, if you're spamming too fast you'll end up doing a Stepslide and too slow will make you get hit.

      One thing that I realize after trying this trick is you don't have to press forward to be able to spam the counter. All you need is to be locked on and just press the dodge button. Your character is dodging forward as default so as long you don't press the backward button you will get the forward counter. Actually for me it is much harder to keep pressing W + dodge button as sometimes it's make my character move forward instead and the counter didn't happen.

  • @bee3240
    @bee3240 3 роки тому

    What counts as an “enhanced combo”? Whenever I do two enhanced PA’s back to back and then press the weapon action it never procs the quick shot. Is the timing that strict?

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому

      To perform an Enhanced Combo, the idea is to do 2 Enhanced PA in a row but the second PA has to be inputted when the first PA is still doing its animation. So you must not wait for the red circle to do the second PA. (And you also need enough gear)
      If you do this well, the second PA will only do half of its animation compared to a regular enhanced PA.
      For instance with fléchette, the regular enhanced do « 1tic + 3tics », and the enhanced combo version only do « 3tics » since it skips the first half.
      You can train with Brand extension at first because the PA is long so you have a lot of time to input your 2nd PA while it’s still running. Whereas flechette timing is strict.
      If you’re doing it properly, the WA input to perform quick shoot is not a problem. The window to do it is long and sometimes you may even want to delay your quick shoot to gap close the enemy at the right moment.

    what is the stepslide cancel? I can't do it :(

    • @wandeezpso2114
      @wandeezpso2114  3 роки тому +1

      It's when you cancel a PA by using a stepslide (Double tap Stepdodge with lock enabled).
      If you use it with a short PA like Hollow Point, you will get full hollow point damage for a shorter duration + stepslide damage = great dps.
      So basically, just do Stay Hollow Point and then Forward Stepslide asap. Just ensure Hollow's projectile gets fired.
