I saw them open for Pantera and Sabbath and they sounded horrible. But I don't think it was their fault. It sounded like they weren't even going through the main PA and we were hearing what was coming off the stage. Once Pantera hit the stage the sound was amazing.
I saw them on this tour 3 nights later in Worcester, MA. I was in high school and stoked to see Pantera and White Zombie, but had never heard of Deftones. I was on the floor for that show and was blown away. I went out and bought Adrenaline on CD the next day. One of the best metal albums of the 90s.
That was pretty funny. It reminds me of a Rage Against The Machine video where Zack De La Rocha is doing the same thng, but he looks funny as hell, especially since he was wearing baggy ass clothes.
Strange mix, but awsome :D, Its just strange to me because its Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera....Pantera and White Zombie isnt really that weird, but with the Deftones...its just a little unusual for me, but awsome!
