He is absolutely right. Any medicine has to be explained in terms of cause - effect at ogrnism's level and molecular level.
Please note that very few Ayurvedic medicines are explained in terms of cause - effect which can be explained empirically.
According to Ayurveda world is consists of Panchabhutha. Similar to 200 BC Greeks.
Can any Ayurvedic medicine states its constituents in terms of chemical compounds. Any explain that chemical's impact on the organism at the cellular level.

🤣 While black pepper and milk are metabolized differently due to their distinct compositions, the statement suggesting that adding black pepper powder enhances turmeric milk absorption is comedy. Suppose it is true, in that case excessive turmeric intake can indeed harm the liver, and adding pepper might exacerbate this effect by possibly increasing turmeric absorption, potentially amplifying liver damage. You are suggesting a poison to drink

Turmeric in Indian dishes (taking into account that most of the circumin isn't absorbed) is more than sufficient!!! adding pepper, increases circumin absorption, and not by a small amount either (almost 2000%)... imagine that milk + haldi + piperine (active ingredient in pepper that increases circumin's bio-availability) gives you 20x more circumin... consumed regularly WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY LEAD TO LIVER TOXICITY...
