1st, let me say, I don't really watch a lot of shows like this or any Tyler Perry type shows at all and the ONLY-SOLO-UNO reason that I even gave this a chance is the incomparable TS Maddison is in it. I at least give her projects a view even if I don't care for the type of production it is. That said....I am only 2 episodes deep and if there is no more Maddie, there may be no more me. The storyline aint grabbing me, the characters aint grabbing me, the acting sure as h3ll aint grabbing me. I honestly thought it was going to be a movie and was disappointed to find it was a series. I am glad to see Tyler step away from the stereotypical Church lead black families plots he usually goes with because he has done that too death. However, his choice of a strip club and butt pumping feels so old and worn too. In short Girl, your reviews on this show are FAR more interesting than this show and I'm mostly enjoying the fact that you seem to feel the same way I do about this show. I might give it another episode or two but if I am not seeing more Maddie, I might bail out too😂
You said it all friend... I'm gonna do a combo episode 3&4 and then probably close out...people keep saying it gets better. I plan to cover Outer Banks soon and Lincoln Lawyer. Let me know what else I should watch
@@HerReelReview Okay, so I can't tell you why but ended up finishing the whole series😳 Something around episode 4 or 5 captivated my attention and I ended up watching the whole thing and staying on the couch for a whole day. I even felt a little disappointed that it was over. These are all feelings I never had for a Tyler Perry produced piece of work. Anyway, if you choose to continue watching the whole thing, I hope you enjoy🥰
