  • I confess, I'm a "Bubble Head." That is a nick name for someone who served aboard submarines. Today we are taking a look at the worlds first nuclear sub, the USS Nautilus.
    The Grandstreeters are your "Grand Parents on the Street." As we approach our golden years we can "Imagine the Possibilities" of what we have yet to discover and experience. We travel and about the Northeast and look at various attractions, restaurants, events and other venues.

    Thanks for the tour, I stopped by a few years ago but the museum is not open on Tuesday's and I live in Florida so don't think I'll ever get on her.

    would absolutely love to get on the Nautilus with my Alinco a copy of my amateur radio liscense and a few hours to play 3:27 i'm gonna guess if that's open a bad guy fixin to have a very bad day, good friend of mine retired as a chief petty on the trout just before they decommissioned it, I hear there was quite a rivalry between you boomers and the diesel guys😁

    MK19, and MK23 gyrocompasses. the 19 is for fire control, the 23 is heading only.
