Man met WILD BOAR in the woods and it changed his life.

- Harry, a 50-year-old man from Belarus, decided to build his own house in the woods. One day, an unexpected visitor, a tiny wild boar, found its way to the construction site. Harry was very worried. The presence of the baby suggested the possible proximity of its mother, a full-grown boar - a creature known for its ferocity. But the mother never arrived, and Harry decided to domesticate the tiny pig, naming him James. In time, their bond grew strong and the encounter changed the man's life.

What a good guy. Sensitive to nature and his surroundings.
They shoot them out of helicopters in Texas!...1000's of them!
I had a neighbor who raised a wild boar as a pet. The little guy was friendly. As an adult pig he probably weighted about 300 or 400 pounds. His way of saying hello was to slobber on your shoes and then urinate on them. Wearing rubber garden boots was the remedy.👍
Gross, but sweet xD as long as your freind warned new friends, ha ha
Exactly how I say hello to my family and friends.
Slobbering and urinating on shoes is the Boar's way of claiming ownership of whoever wear those shoes 😂.
He maybe doesnt like the shoes
That's why I don't wear " Crocs" , that and how they look ....😂😂
this is the way it should be!!! respect for life!!!😊
You know, when you name a wild boar "James", that's your best friend.

I'll bet Harry was never BORED with James. Thanks I am here all week!!!!! Goodnight everybody.
God Bless Harry and his little James:) 😊
Pigs are very smart, i guess good pets 😁
Not wild boars...they are dangerious. Dude is lucky he didn't get mauled.
tell that to the people who had their farm land and other property destroyed by wild pigs
Wild boars (specifically boars, sows are a little more shy) have a big potential to be dangerous/destructive, but you're right, pigs are very intelligent and the domesticated breeds make incredible pets. Kinda stubborn about change, and definitely loud when they want to be, but very clean and easy to train. They're also very cuddly once bonded to you. My family has a Juliana sow and we love her 🐽❤
So true - and yet people treat them like trash before murdering them to sell as food. Barbarians!
Have you ever noticed that it’s pig’s parts ( heart, kidneys, etc) that are transplantable into people. It’s not chimpanzees, it’s pigs.
Interesting to see how a wild boar can become a loyal companion behaving like a dog.
boars and pigs are actually quite smart, just as smart if not even smarter than dogs. Plus they're very social which makes them ideal for domestication
Kindness kindles loyalty
The boar is a serious beast, more dangerous than any dog or even a wolf, intelligent and vengeful. A strong male in his prime is an ideal guard and a good companion.
@@Rashadrusthey are intelligent, that's the key.
@@Rashadrus A boar is nice and stuff and a wolf will not risk a fight if it isn't desperate but 1vs1 boar vs wolf, the wolf will win 90% of the time. wild wolfs are bigger than your common dog, they have teeth sharp as knives and they aren't as stupid as your puppy. they are scary intelligent. most people don't know because they never interacted with a wild wolf nor saw anyone. boars are nice. they are more intelligent than people think and defiantly more than your standard bred dog. but they aren't more intelligent than wild wolfs though. here on UA-cam is a video on a wolf sanctuary in the us. watch it. if you cry before a bonded wolf it will comfort you with a song. they became the first domesticated animal for a reason. a boar is nice but it only every defends his young. that's it. you can get killed in front your bonded boar and it will watch the scene unfold. your wolf on the other hand is a knives waging killer machine before knifes existed. and it listens to you better than most humans. not just that. if you get attacked you don't need to say a word, your wolf will go into combat mode faster than any human.
Funniest looking dog ever. Cute.

Make no mistake. The 'animals' are HERE to HELP us. And I mean that in a DEEP SPIRITUAL sense.
This is BEAUTIFUL.
ANIMALS are GREAT🎉❤🙏🏽🔥🕊️❤️
I know
Weird perspective, as if humans are the most important things on the planet. Animals pre-exist us, so in what way would they be here to help us? Humans are not important in the grand scheme of things. Our life spans are unfathomably short compared to how old the universe is. It's so conceited to think animals are here for us.
@@Sazed0 Of course animals have their own 'reasons' and their own autonomy, but let's not pretend there is not a marvellous kind of symbiotic relationship involved with many of the species. I suppose I could've been a little more expansive with my comment, what can I say, I was overwhelmed with emotion when I wrote it (after viewing the vid).
And I agree with you it IS conceited to think animals are ONLY here for us. We can see how that attitude has proliferated over the years. I'm not gonna get into all that.
Thanks for you comment.
@@Sazed0 In the grand scheme of things, all life on this planet is just a thin layer of putrid mold growing on a ball of rock orbiting a dying sun. But perhaps that's not a very constructive mindset to have when dealing with everyday life.
It’s nice to have people like Harry in the world, respecting animals.
They are smarter then you think. Thanks for sharing this video.

I'm gonna sound very sappy but back in my college days I befriended one of the many stray cats on campus. Didn't take very long for her to warm up to me. I visited her EVERY day after class, right before lunch staying for like half an hour or so. She loved being on my lap and would hop on it as soon as I sat down and would make biscuits on it, whenever I wore my pentacle necklace she pawed at it while being on my lap, she would follow me brief distances, came out when her name was called (I named her Blake after the character from RWBY), I even earned a lick from her. She really liked me...she and the other cats suddenly vanished from campus though but I hope she's with a family who loves her as much as I still do. Would have adopted her quickly but couldn't. Every time I see stray cats they remind me of her and I have to try to befriend them if possible. Pokémon taught me to care about animals, and the bond Blake and I shared, as well as this gentleman's bond with his boar is so Pokémon-like in the way we both bonded with creatures that were abandoned. This video is literally a Pokémon episode lol. I miss Blake, I wish I could see her again (who's cutting onions?).
Very interrsting to hear it was pokemon...
That’s adorable that he knew how to help Harry.
Hello Grace, how are you doing today?
Очень трогательно. Я в воссторге.
Любим братьев наших меньших.
Браво.
Beautiful animal and that would be an absolute dream to build a cabin like that. That man is truly living the dream.
A Belorussian named Harry?? I've got my doubts....
His name is Garik, basically Harry. Same as Harry Kaspatov's name isn't Harry, he is also Garik.
But the boar's name is changed unrelated to what his name really are, don't know why. He named his boar Yasha, which is as far as I know is unrelated to James in any way.
@@lAsteriosl I don't know why people feel the need to change names to suit the audience. When I first met my (now) father in law, he introduced himself as 'Paul', "Paul?" I said, "I was told your name was Pavel!" It's silly really, a name is a name and it shouldn't change.
@@Hrochnick I don't know, but maybe it's just Russian language itself. Every name have a lot of different forms. There is official name and 2-3-4-10 short versions of it just for friends and family.
For example Alexander is official name, but it's also Alex, and also Sasha and also (for some reason) Shurik, and each form have variety of diminutive versions of it. And it's normal to be called Shurik by friends, Shashenka by fiance, Sasha by family members, Alex by colegues and Alexander by boss.
So changing your name a little for convinience of others is not that wild of idea for Russians.
And Garik and Harry is basically the same name. Changing Yasha to James is kinda long stretch.
Yasha is short of Yakov. Yakov in English is Jacob. And as I just googled James is comes from Jacob. So it's kinda legit, but it's much bigger stretch than Garik to Harry.
@@lAsteriosl This is why reading Russian novels can be frustrating. "Wait a minute . . . is this a new character?"
@@lAsteriosl His name is Igor, as far as I recall. He has a channel of his own.
God bless you Harry. What a beautiful country you live in.
This is a great example of the interconnectedness of humans and other animals, even many wild ones. That little boar learned to trust the man and made a lifelong friend. So did the man, once he realized the youngster needed help. Very sweet story.
hope they had a lovely wedding
A thousand blessing upon Harry. 🫡
I have a plot of land in the hills in Abbottabad, I dump all our kitchen waste for composting there . The wild boars regularly visit my compost heap and devour whatever they like from it , almost all of what I dump , but they never cause any damage . I hardly see them as they are nocturnal and very shy .
Harry, our thoughts and prayers are with you, James, and Ukraine.
What I like the most about this, is that the boar wasn't lock up in a pigpen, he was free to roam freely.
This guy seems to be living his best life.
Hunters can have a change of heart
The hunter's heart is not hatred toward the animals he/she hunts. In fact just the opposite. Deer, wild game, and even wild/feral pigs are not our enemy. If there is an enemy to wild game it is from developers and notably farmers - it is farmers who are usually the antecedents of a so called war against wildlife. Fortunately, many farmers can and do work ecologically, and certainly hunters often contribute to habitat protection and improvement, fund water development, etc. Let's extrapolate further. While many people are inclined to believe predators are the enemy of their prey, that's also incorrect and is a variety of Nature hating. Nature take the long view and evolutionarily, predator and prey are long time lovers, each having perfected the other over countless time...Nature has always approved of predation, w/o which entire ecosystems would collapse sooner or later. No death, no energy flow. No energy flow, no life.
@@davida.4933 Good answer. Clowns like him need to be shut down.
@@davida.4933 Oh, stop it with the truth and common sense. :) Good day.
Hunters need to preserve their prey, so you often hear of them helping young prey animals(they can then grow up big) and the same with pregnant or young females.
Hunters are psyco. I would not trust their hearts very much 😂.

What a beautiful story about a beautiful relationship. I have 3 pot belly pigs. They are loving and very similar to dogs. I volunteer weekly at a farm sanctuary that is home to many pigs and hogs. They are very intelligent and sensitive creatures. They can be intense and very destructive. I understand why wild boar hunting is done. However, it's still saddens me knowing their nature. They make wonderful parents and are excellent at raising offspring. Even if the piglet is not their own. I have witnessed this at the sanctuary. Humans have so much to learn from other animals.

Hello Sandy, how are you doing today?
A traveling salesmans truck broke down out in the middle nowhere. He saw smoke on the horizon and headed that way. Not long after he spotted a farm house. When he approached the house he called out HELLO! An old woman came to the door and asked what he wanted. The salesman asked if somebody could maybe drive him to the nearest town to get a tow truck to retrieve his vehicle. She said yes her son would be home shortly if he didn't mind waiting. The salesman said he would wait and asked for a glass of water. He heard something behind him and turned to see a giant Boar Hog! OH MY GOD! he said. The of woman assured him it was not dangerous and that it was a special Hog part of the family. She said one night everyone was asleep and an ember from the fireplace must have popped out and started a fire in the kindling box. The Hog squealed and squealed till they woke up and ran for the door. Somebody forgot the littlest child who was hid under her bed. The hog went into the burning house and pulled the small child to safty! WOW! said the salesman that was something! I noticed that the hog only has three legs did he lose it being injured in the fire! Naw said the old woman you don't eat a hog like that all at once!
And don't forget the Corn
