- Check out this superb video by Morrel Stevens running a Taylor 70cc Twin V1 prototype engine in his Hybrid.
This 70cc Engine is running twin V1 Cylinders on a full V2 bottom end, with two WT1257 Extreme carbs.

That engine is over 2500 I can take my eletric on 6s and walk all over it for 1 3rd of that price!

Anyway let's not turn that into petrol Vs electric ... Both have advantages, me after many years of electric 1/8 scales I prefer fifth scale gassers

You obviously don't know much about eletric Rcs you can buy lipos 10,000mah and even bigger that will last over 1hour I can have 2 sets of lipos and before the ones in my Rc dies the ones on the charger are already fully charged. I can also argue yeah up front Electric is more expensive but in the pong run it's alot more cheaper don't have to buy gas lipos can last well over 5 years if taking care of.

10ah battery and your rig will double it's weight.
1h of runtime lipos will cost more than good zenoah engine.
You don't speak to newbie my guy, I've done electrics for more.than 10years , done my own water-cooling system for motors.
So no, electrics aren't cheaper than petrol.
And buy cheap, buy 3times. And you're clearly trying to throw some args around that are applicable only in theory.
They are much simpler to run and basically no maintenance, more powerful than petrol but that all advantages. No better,.it's matter of preference. Also both are very expensive in the long run, with ⚡ u have to spend a lot for runtime while with petrols u have to spend a lot for performance
@@Angry-Lynx 10000 mAh lipos cost around 150 to 175 each. I have 5 year old lipos 0 problems you obviously haven't been taking care of your lipos.

Why have you got it idling so high?
that's running a little bit lean that's why. a little more fuel on the low needle too each carb would have calmed that right down and added even more power to the low end and more fuel on top at wide open when both needles are working in unison. I can't wait to get one and tune it right and wind it tight!!

Before Brushless was a thing I always heard nitro fanboys say nitro is the best because it's faster now all of a sudden it's about the sound lmao 😂
At the end of the day I can take any high end Brushless setup and absolutely demolish that thing! For 1/3 the price that 70cc engine isn't cheap it's fast don't get me wrong but it will never compare to a high end Brushless system in 6s it will smell a Brushless rig on 6s don't get me started on 8s and up!
@@SquareBodyK5 but its still like a kids toy! Electric is like a toy it takes zero skill you charge batteries you plug them in and go . no tuning other than suspension. Its not for a lot of gas guys. We the more realistic side of rc and most of us came from 2 stroke dirt bikes and quads and we are older now and we like the sound and tuning and maintenance involved with gas RC. we don't want small electric toys we want loud fast fun more like the real thing experience. If I can't hear it I don't get the sensory effect. The nastiest electric rc bores me in 3 minutes of use because its not for me, But its still rc and I don't hate on anyone that is having good clean fun. Neither should you. You must be very young to come on here and hate on the gas Rcs because they are to expensive! At the end of the day as long as everyone is having fun , who cares what is faster or not this hobby is about individuality. And if we all did the same thing it would be quite a boring one! Have a blessed one!

@@eastsiderc and yes it does take skill to make a electric go fast. Something your nitro can't do is go fast.
